Definitions

  • the invention relates to a wash ware carrier, in particular a crockery basket or a cutlery drawer, for receiving wash ware to be cleaned in a dishwasher, with a base section on which a plurality of holding means for the wash ware are arranged in series, a first subset of the plurality of holding means being stationary and a second subset of the plurality of holding means is designed to be foldable, the fixed holding means and the foldable holding means being arranged in alternating sequence, the foldable holding means being mounted on an axis, in particular on a common axis, and the foldable holding means being designed as folding spikes are.
  • the invention also relates to a dishwasher with a carrier for items to be washed.
  • Washware carriers for holding washware for use in dishwashers, in particular household dishwashers are generally known.
  • An essential aim in the design of such washware racks, regardless of whether they are crockery baskets or cutlery drawers, is to offer the user the greatest possible flexibility when loading the washware racks.
  • crockery or cutlery of different dimensions for example plates and bowls of different depths or knives with different grip widths, can be conveniently arranged in the washware rack.
  • a number of proposals have been made to provide this flexibility.
  • a crockery basket for receiving items to be cleaned in a dishwasher has a base section on which a plurality of holding means for the items to be washed are arranged in series.
  • a first subset of the plurality of holding means arranged in the depth direction of the crockery basket is designed to be stationary, whereas a second subset of the plurality of holding means arranged in the depth direction of the crockery basket Holding means is designed to be foldable.
  • the two subsets of the plurality of holding means are arranged next to one another in the width direction of the crockery basket, so that foldable and fixed holding means are arranged in an alternating sequence.
  • the foldable holding means are mounted on an axis, in particular on a common axis, and the foldable holding means are designed as hinged spikes.
  • a crockery basket for receiving items to be cleaned in a dishwasher comprises a plurality of fixed, diagonally aligned and Z-shaped wires, which are arranged in a row and in the depth direction of the crockery basket for receiving vessels.
  • the crockery basket comprises a foldable wire hanger, which in some areas has a corrugated wire contour for the placement of glass stems from long-stemmed glasses and which can be folded into an area above the large number of fixed, diagonally aligned and Z-shaped wires and thus the large number of stationary, diagonally aligned and Z-shaped wires.
  • a crockery basket for receiving a plurality of different crockery parts in a dishwasher which has a rake-like holding device made up of a plurality of spikes.
  • the prongs can be folded between different pivot positions, the holding device being formed from at least two rows of folding prongs which can be folded independently of one another between the different pivot positions.
  • the spines of a folding prong row have an offset so that the spines of all folding prong rows come to lie in a line and alignment in a first pivot position along the axis of rotation.
  • each of the folding prong rows can be arranged alternately at the same distance from one another. If a holding device then has exactly two rows of folding prongs, the distance between two successive prongs can be doubled in a second pivot position relative to the first pivot position.
  • this solution is relatively complex in terms of construction and production technology and, moreover, also requires a relatively large amount of installation space.
  • the object of the present invention is to provide a wash ware carrier which, with a simple structural and manufacturing design and good use of installation space, offers a high degree of flexibility with regard to receiving wash ware.
  • a wash ware carrier for receiving wash ware to be cleaned in a dishwasher with a bottom section on which a plurality of holding means for the wash ware are arranged in series
  • a first subset of the plurality of holding means being stationary and one the second subset of the plurality of holding means is to be designed to be foldable
  • the fixed holding means and the foldable holding means being arranged in an alternating sequence
  • the foldable holding means being mounted on an axis, in particular on a common axis
  • the folding holding means being designed as folding spikes
  • the basic idea of the invention is to arrange the fixed holding means and the foldable holding means in an alternating sequence.
  • This arrangement according to the invention of the stationary and foldable holding means in an alternating sequence allows the distance between two adjacent holding means to be increased over the entire length of the holding means arranged in series.
  • a first pivot position - hereinafter referred to as the position of use - the foldable holding means are erected by the base section, preferably approximately vertically, and thus arranged in a row with the stationary holding means, which are likewise erected by the base section, preferably also approximately vertically.
  • a small distance for holding flat crockery items, for example dinner plates, or narrow cutlery items, for example narrow knife handles, is formed between two consecutive holding means.
  • a second pivot position - hereinafter referred to as the non-use position - are the foldable Retaining means folded over so that they come to lie approximately horizontally on the floor section of the wash ware carrier.
  • the distance between two adjacent holding means is only determined by the stationary holding means still remaining in the upright position.
  • a greater distance is thus formed, at least in partial areas, which also enables deeper crockery items, for example soup plates, or wider cutlery items, for example wide knife handles, to be accommodated.
  • the wash ware carrier according to the invention is characterized in particular by a design that is simple in construction and production.
  • the folding holding means are designed as folding spikes. These can then rest directly on the floor section in a folded-over state so that they do not affect the loading of the washware carrier with washware.
  • the individual foldable holding means can be rotatably mounted on the axle. However, it is advantageous to mount the foldable holding means in a rotationally fixed manner on a common rotatable axle. In this way, it is possible in a simple manner to fold or unfold all the foldable holding means together.
  • “folding down” means moving the holding means from their position of use to their non-use position
  • “opening” means moving the holding means from their non-use position to their position of use.
  • further positions, in particular intermediate positions can of course also be provided for the foldable holding means.
  • an actuating element can be formed on the rotatable shaft.
  • the actuating element can either be designed in one piece with the rotatable shaft or it can also be fastened to it in a rotationally fixed manner.
  • the foldable holding means can advantageously be locked at least in the position of use in which they are arranged in series with the stationary holding means.
  • a locking can be implemented, for example, in the form of a latching connection. If an actuating element is provided, this can advantageously also serve as a latching element which, in the position of use, engages with a corresponding latching counter element on the washware carrier.
  • a corresponding locking mechanism can also be provided in the non-use position or also in further provided pivot positions of the foldable holding means.
  • the stationary holding means each have at least two fastening sections with which the holding means are fastened to the bottom section, and a central section which connects the at least two fastening sections with one another.
  • the mechanical stability of the holding means is increased and, on the other hand, the positioning of crockery or cutlery is simplified, because a user can simply orientate himself on the middle section when inserting crockery or cutlery, the middle section connecting the two fastening sections increasing the stability of the holding means elevated.
  • Central sections are particularly preferably arranged at a distance from the bottom section. This can be achieved, for example, in that the stationary holding means are designed to be essentially M-shaped or essentially U-shaped or essentially V-shaped.
  • Such a configuration of the fixed holding means has the result that a free space is created below the middle sections, which free space can advantageously be used to accommodate the axis of the foldable holding means. In this way, the generally very limited installation space available is used particularly well.
  • the wash ware carrier according to the invention can be arranged both as a crockery basket, in particular as a lower basket or also as an upper basket, or also as a cutlery drawer in a dishwasher.
  • a dishwasher in particular a domestic dishwasher, with a wash ware carrier according to the invention offers the possibility of flexible accommodation of crockery or cutlery, either for a large number of flat crockery or cutlery or a smaller number of deeper crockery or cutlery.
  • Fig. 1 shows a partial section of a wash ware carrier 1 according to the invention for receiving wash ware to be cleaned in a dishwasher (not shown), in particular a domestic dishwasher.
  • the washware rack 1 is designed, for example, as a cutlery drawer 1 ', which essentially serves to hold items of cutlery, but could also be designed as a crockery basket which essentially serves to hold items of crockery.
  • the wash ware carrier 1 has a bottom section 2 on which a plurality of holding means 3 for the wash ware are arranged in series. Every two adjacent holding means 3 form a receiving space 4, in that a wash item, such as the cutlery drawer 1 ′ in the present exemplary embodiment, for example a knife or a spoon or a fork, can be used.
  • the holding means 3 are designed such that a first subset of the plurality of holding means 3 are designed as fixed holding means 3a and a second subset of the plurality of holding means 3 are designed as folding holding means 3b.
  • the fixed holding means 3a and the foldable holding means 3b are arranged in an alternating, that is to say alternating, sequence.
  • the fixed holding means 3a and foldable holding means 3b are arranged in any alternating sequence.
  • two or more foldable holding means 3b are arranged between two stationary holding means 3a.
  • a foldable holding means 3b is provided only after a row of two or more stationary holding means 3a.
  • An irregular sequence of fixed holding means 3a and foldable holding means 3b is also conceivable.
  • Fig. 1 the foldable holding means 3b are shown in a first pivot position, referred to as the use position, in which they are erected approximately vertically from the base section 2.
  • the foldable holding means 3b are thus arranged in a row with the stationary holding means 3a, which are likewise erected approximately vertically from the bottom section 2.
  • an oblique or inclined alignment is also possible depending on the specific application.
  • the holding means 3 arranged in a row thanks to their configuration designed to hold on both sides, allow a maximum number of cutlery items to be securely held in the wash ware carrier with a minimum number of holding means 3 or, in the case of a crockery basket, crockery items during a wash process.
  • the row of holding means 3 can, depending on the application, extend over the entire length or width of the wash ware carrier or only over a partial area. It is also conceivable to provide an alternating sequence of fixed holding means 3a and foldable holding means 3b only in a section of an entire row of holding means 3 and in the or to provide fixed holding means 3a or foldable holding means 3b without exception for the other subsections.
  • a washware carrier 1 can also be equipped with several rows of holding means 3 with an alternating sequence of fixed holding means 3a and foldable holding means 3b.
  • the stationary holding means 3a each have two fastening sections 5 which are fastened to the bottom section 2 of the cutlery drawer 1 '.
  • the two fastening sections 5 are each connected to one another by a central section 6.
  • the central sections 6 are designed in an arc-shaped manner, so that the two fastening sections 5 and the central section 6 have a kink-free, loop-like shape.
  • the two fastening sections 5 and the middle section 6 have the same cross-section, which is preferably triangular, which minimizes the contact area between the edges and an adjacent wash ware and thus ensures that the formation of stains is reduced during a drying process.
  • the stationary holding means 3a In addition to the illustrated essentially V-shaped configuration of the stationary holding means 3a, numerous other configurations, such as, for example, essentially M-shaped or essentially U-shaped stationary holding means, are possible. In contrast to the embodiment shown, it is also possible for the individual fixed holding means 3a, including the foldable holding means 3b, not to have a uniform shape.
  • a foldable holding means 3b is arranged in each case between two adjacent stationary holding means 3a in the use position of the foldable holding means 3b.
  • the foldable holding means 3b are mounted on a common rotatable axis 7.
  • An actuating element 8 is also formed on this axis 7, which in the illustrated embodiment is made in one piece with the axis 7, but which, alternatively, can also be fastened to the axis 7 in a rotationally fixed manner.
  • the actuating element 8 is erected approximately vertically in accordance with the foldable holding means 3b and is used by a user to simply fold the foldable holding means 3b.
  • the foldable holding means 3b Due to the common non-rotatable mounting of the foldable holding means 3b on the common axis 7, it is easy to fold the foldable holding means 3b from their position of use into a second swivel position, referred to as the non-use position (cf. Fig. 2 ) possible.
  • the foldable holding means 3b can also be mounted individually or in groups on an axle.
  • either the axis can be designed to be rotatable and the foldable holding means 3b can be fastened to it in a rotationally fixed manner, in particular even formed in one piece with it.
  • a non-rotatable axis can also be provided on which the foldable holding means 3b are rotatably mounted.
  • the foldable holding means 3b are mounted on a common axis 7. It is also fundamentally irrelevant for the applicability of the invention whether the foldable holding means 3b or also the fixed holding means 3a are detachably or non-detachably connected to the axis 7 or the bottom section 2 of the wash ware carrier 1.
  • the actuating element 8 also serves as a latching element which, in the use position of the foldable holding means 3b, engages with a counter-latching element 9, which is arranged, for example, on a substantially vertical wall section of the wash ware carrier 1, and in this way the foldable holding means 3b locked in its position of use.
  • the actuating element 8 is designed to be elastic in the illustrated embodiment, so that it can be brought out of engagement with the counter-locking element 9 by a slight pivoting movement in the direction of the row of holding means 3, which then enables the folding holding means 3b to be folded over.
  • the foldable holding means 3b can also be locked in the use position in any other way.
  • the common axis 7 of the foldable holding means 3b is arranged in the area below the central sections 6 of the stationary holding means 3a. If the middle sections 6 of the stationary holding means 3a are arranged at a distance from the bottom section 2 of the wash ware carrier 1, as in the illustrated embodiment, the common axis 7 can even be arranged in an area below the middle sections 6 but above or in a plane with the bottom section 2, so that no installation space is required in the area below the wash ware carrier 1.
  • Fig. 2 shows the wash ware carrier 1 according to Fig. 1 , wherein the foldable holding means 3b are in their folded-over non-use position.
  • the foldable holding means 3b lie approximately horizontally on the bottom section 2 of the wash ware carrier 1.
  • the hinged spikes advantageously have a diamond-shaped cross section, which in the use position of the hinged spikes minimizes the contact surface between their edges and an adjacent washware part and thus also helps to reduce the formation of stains during a drying process.
  • a locking mechanism for example in the form of a latching of the foldable holding means 3b, can also be provided in the non-use position.
  • the distance between two adjacent holding means 3 is only determined by the stationary holding means 3a still remaining in the upright position.
  • the distance between two adjacent holding means 3 is thus doubled by folding over the foldable holding means 3b.
  • Two adjacent fixed holding means 3a each now form an enlarged receiving space in that more voluminous items of items to be washed, such as knives with wider handles in the case of a cutlery drawer or deeper plates in the case of a crockery basket, can be used.
