Definitions

  • the invention relates to a method and a device for handling printing material containers according to claims 1 and 11, respectively.
  • the DE 43 28 038 A1 shows a device and a method for material supply with a store and a transport system, the transport system being controlled by a central computer.
  • the central computer is connected to a control room computer and, if necessary, to a central logistics computer, which controls the operations on all printing machines in the print shop and where the inventory of the rolls in the warehouse is monitored.
  • the DE 199 48 139 A1 shows a pure control system which determines the level of workpiece storage and, if necessary, also receives and takes into account feedback on the operational readiness of individual machines.
  • a method and a device for the automatic material supply of a printing machine system are known, wherein the handling and storage of rolls is carried out by a material supply system in a planning level, a coordination level and an execution level.
  • the roles entering the system are recorded, for example, by scanning barcode information.
  • the further transport, storage and preparation are then fully automated via the material supply system. Since this plans and controls the transport orders, it "knows" the position of a certain role at all times.
  • a system for storing and introducing paper rolls into a web printing machine is disclosed, with roll data being recorded upon delivery and fed to a central control computer.
  • roll data being recorded upon delivery and fed to a central control computer.
  • a downstream store for example, the space occupied by the rollers conveyed via a conveyor belt and a lifting system is registered and transmitted to the control computer by means of optical sensors.
  • measured roll data are determined by sensors in the area of the adhesive preparation station and transmitted to the control computer. Prepared rolls are transported by driverless transport vehicles to an interim storage facility or to the relevant roll changers.
