Abstract

The method involves forming a single-surface basic knit (11) in which the float threads (12) are inserted, in the row of stitches. The float threads on the first side knit fabric are transferred with a thread guide to a starting position, to be visible on the second side knit fabric. The stitches are transferred corresponding to the desired width of the second knitted fabric on the visible side float thread portion. The back slopes of stitches are transferred to the original needles and the basic knit stitch rows are formed. An independent claim is included for a knitted fabric.

Description

Fleece threads are usually used in technical crochets to influence the cross-elasticity of the knitted fabric in some areas or in the entire knitted fabric. In medical knitted fabrics, a floss thread is often used as a so-called weft thread, which has different properties and strengths than the thread of the basic knit. These weft threads are always horizontal and are guided within a double-sided knit and held by this.

Furthermore, floats in knitted garments are known, which are used as a design element. In single-ply knit fabrics, the flossing threads are secured in the fabric by forming stitches or tufts, which requires that the strength of the tufting be approximately equal to the fineness of the machine for processing by the needles of the knitting machine.

The present invention has for its object to provide a method with which it is possible to produce a single-surface knit fabric with floss threads, in which the floss threads can vary significantly in strength from the strength of the thread of the basic knit.

  1. a) Bilden eines einflächigen Grundgestricks bis zu der Maschenreihe, in der der Flottfaden eingelegt werden soll;
  2. b) Bringen des Flottfadens auf der ersten Gestrickseite mit Hilfe eines Fadenführers in eine Startposition, ab der der Flottfaden auf der zweiten Gestrickseite sichtbar sein soll;
  3. c) Umhängen von Maschen in einer Anzahl, die der gewünschten Breite des auf der zweiten Gestrickseite sichtbaren Flottfadenbereichs entspricht, beginnend an der Startposition des Flottfadens;
  4. d) Legen des Flottfadens über die umgehängten Maschen mit Hilfe des Fadenführers;
  5. e) Zurückhängen der umgehängten Maschen auf ihre Ursprungsnadeln;
The object is achieved by a method for producing a knitted fabric with at least one floss thread on a flat knitting machine with at least two needle beds, which is characterized by the steps:
  1. a) forming a single-surface base knit up to the course in which the floss thread is to be inserted;
  2. b) Bringing the floss thread on the first fabric side by means of a thread guide in a starting position, from which the floss thread should be visible on the second fabric side;
  3. c) transferring stitches in a number corresponding to the desired width of the tuft area visible on the second fabric side, starting at the start position of the tuft;
  4. d) Laying the floss thread over the stitched stitches with the help of the thread guide;
  5. e) hanging back the stitched stitches on their original needles;
  6. f) forming courses of the basic knit in any number.

With the method according to the invention, the floss thread is therefore held solely by clamping between meshes of the base knit in this. There is no formation of tongs or stitches with the floss thread. Therefore, the floss thread can be distinguished in particular by its strength clearly from the thread with which the basic knit is formed. The method according to the invention therefore opens up new design possibilities in particular.

The Fleckfadenführer is preferably designed as Intarsia Faderiführer. However, it can also be used normal thread guides that can be spent with the help of thread guide shifts in their effective ranges. In addition, the use of self-propelled yarn guides is possible.

In a preferred embodiment of the method, steps b) to e) are repeated at least once after step f). The floss thread is thus brought on the first fabric side to a new starting position, from which it should be visible on the second fabric side, and then creates another Flottfadenbereich on the second fabric side. This results in different Flottfadenbereiche in which the Flottfaden is visible either on the first fabric side or on the second fabric side. In this case, the floss thread in step b) from the thread guide in the same direction or in the opposite direction as in the previous step d) are moved. If it is moved back by the thread guide, then arise on the fabric sides several superimposed Flottfadenbereiche. By moving in the same direction, a plurality of towpath areas are created side by side in a horizontal direction. By varying the length of the fleece in the horizontal direction and the number of courses of the basic knit in step f), the angle at which the floss thread can the first fabric side runs, be changed. There are thus also Flottfadenverläufe different from the horizontal direction possible.

Of course, several floats can be inserted at different points of the basic knit. These floats can also be inserted according to the method so that they at least partially intersect. The intersection can take place at the point of passage of the floss threads from one knit side to the other knit side and / or on one or both sides of the knit fabric.

In a further variant of the method, the basic knit can be formed from two partial knits which are knitted adjacent to one another, and the two pieces with at least one floss thread by hanging stitches in the edge region of both knitted parts and laying the floss thread over the looped stitches at a plurality of superimposed Positions of the knitted parts are joined together. In this embodiment of the method, the two parts are sewn together, as it were, by the fleece thread, which runs alternately on the front and on the back of the knitted parts in the edge region thereof. Of course, several floats can be used for this process.

The at least one floss thread may have a different thickness and / or a different material than the thread of the base knit. For example, even fine leather strips can be used as a floss thread. For technical textiles, the use of wire-like materials for the pile thread is also possible.

The floss thread can also be a bundle of threads, which can be achieved further optical effects. Thus, for example, a plurality of threads of different colors can be inserted as a colored fleece bundle bundle by the method in the knitted fabric.

The invention also relates to a knit fabric which is produced by a method according to the invention and which is characterized in that it comprises at least one visible on the front and / or back floss thread, which is held by clamping between stitches of the knitted fabric.

The knitted fabric can preferably have a single-surface basic knit. The at least one floss thread can run in the fabric to form an angle between 0 ° and 90 ° with the courses of the knitted fabric. Furthermore, the at least one floss thread may have a different thickness, a different material and / or a different color than the one or more threads of the basic knit.

Various embodiments of knitted fabrics according to the invention and the method according to the invention for their production will be described in greater detail below with reference to the drawing.

Fig. 1a shows a knit fabric 10, which consists of a monoseal basic knit 11, which in the example shown is a smooth-right knit. In the base knit 11 a Flottfaden 12 is inserted, which in a certain section in the x direction of the basic knitted fabric 11 and over the entire height of the basic knit 11 on the visible side of the basic knitted fabric 11 in a plurality of superimposed and obliquely extending from bottom left to top right Sections 13 can be seen. The width and the slope of the sections 13 are constant.

Fig. 1b illustrates the production of the knitted fabric 10 from Fig. 1a in principle. Fig. 4a shows a knit fabric 40 with a basic knit 41 and a floss thread 42, in which case the width of the base knit 41 in the x direction, which is covered by the floss thread 42, remains constant in each case. In the γ direction, however, the visible sections 43.1-43.n of the flat thread 42 vary in their pitch and thus also in their length.

The Fig. 4b and Fig. 4c clarify the basic course of the process for producing a knitted fabric according to Fig. 4a , In row R1, stitches 41 are formed for the basic knit 41 with the needles D - M of the front needle bed until the height position of the insert of the knitting fabric Flottfadenführers 42 is reached, which is moved from the right knitting edge ago to the starting point S (row R2). Subsequently, in rows R3, the stitches of the basic knitted fabric of the needles H-L of the front needle bed corresponding to the desired width of the floss thread 43.1 are transferred to the needles h-1 of the back needle bed. In row R4, the floss thread is guided in a length corresponding to the number of stitches interspersed in row R3 in the opposite direction from the row R2, before the stitches of the needles h-l are again hung back onto the needles H-L in row R5. In row R6, courses are again formed for the basic knit 41 on the needles D-M of the front needle bed. In row R7, the floss thread is moved by its thread guide from its position between the needles L and M of the front needle bed to the left to the reversal position U1 of the floating thread between the needles G and H. Thereafter, the stitches of the basic knit on the needles H-L are again transferred to the opposite needles h of the back needle bed, and then the pile yarn in row R9 is moved from the turning point U1 to the right to between the needles L and M of the front needle bed. Then in row R10, the stitches transferred in row R8 are hung back again. These steps are repeated, in which case different numbers of courses are formed for the base fabric 41 when forming the base fabric in row R6, whereby the different gradients of the sections 43.1-43.n arise.
