Claims (10)
- A mounting system for supporting and electrically contacting a ceiling or wall luminaire, comprising a first mounting part (100; 2100a-e; 3100-9100) and a second mounting part (200; 1200-9200), the first and second mounting parts being releasably attachable to each other,
said first mounting member (100; 2100a-e; 3100-9100) comprising one or more first centering means (110; 2110a; 3110-9110) and a first contacting means (120; 2120a; 3120, 9120a-c) disposed adjacent said one or more first centering means (110; 2110a; 3110-9110) and spaced therefrom,
said second mounting member (200; 1200-9200) comprising one or more second centering means (210; 1210-9210) and a second contacting means (220) adjacent said one or more second centering means (210; 1210-9210) and spaced therefrom,
wherein the first and second centering means are adapted to couple each other, and wherein the first and second contacting means are adapted to couple each other,
wherein the first (110; 2110a; 3110-9110) and second (210; 1210-9210) centering means are further arranged to attach the first and second mounting parts to each other and hold the luminaire when the first and second contacting means are coupled in,
said first and second contacting means each having mutual electrical contacting means adapted to contact each other when said first and second contacting means are coupled in,
wherein the first and second mounting members are further adapted to be releasably secured to each other by moving the first and second mounting members toward each other along a mounting direction, characterised in that during said movement firstly one of the one or more first centering means (110; 2110a; 3110-9110) and one of the one or more second centering means (210; 1210-9210), couple and align the first and second mounting members with each other before the first and second contacting means couple,
wherein the one or more first centering means (110; 2110a; 3110-9110) and the one or more second centering means (210; 1210-9210) further comprise means (9130, 9230, 9117, 9217) for non-rotating coupling to each other by the first and second centering means being formed as pins having an asymmetric cross-section and as receiving channels having a corresponding asymmetric cross-section, respectively. - The mounting system according to claim 1, wherein each of the plurality of first centering means (110; 2110a; 3110-9110) comprises a respective protruding member, and each of the one or more second centering means (210; 1210-9210) comprises a respective receiving means adapted to receive one of the one or more protruding members.
- The mounting system according to claim 2, wherein the plurality of projecting members are formed as trunnions and the corresponding receiving means comprise channels (211) for receiving the trunnion.
- The mounting system according to one of the preceding claims, wherein each of said one or more first centering means (110; 2110a; 3110-9110) comprises a first latch means (115; 5116; 6116; 7116) and each of said one or more second centering means (210; 1210-9210) comprises a second latch means (215; 1215; 5210-8210) adapted to couple a corresponding one of said one or more first latch means.
- The mounting system according to claim 4, wherein the first and second latching means are adapted to couple in when the first and second contacting means are coupled in.
- The mounting system according to claim 4 or 5, wherein the first or the second locking means is formed as a groove (115) and the second or the first locking means is formed as a locking element (215; 1215), in particular as a resilient locking element, preferably as a spring clip (215), leaf spring or disc-shaped element (1215).
- The mounting system according to claim 4, 5 or 6, wherein the first or the second assembly part further comprises an actuating means (250) for releasing the coupling of the first and second latching means.
- The mounting system according to one of the preceding claims, wherein the one or more first and/or the one or more second centering means comprises a taper (112) for inserting the projecting member into the receiving means.
- The mounting system according to one of the preceding claims, wherein the first and/or the second contacting means is displaceable with respect to the one or more first or the one or the more second centering means transversely to the mounting direction.
- The mounting system according to one of the preceding claims, wherein the first and second contacting means are designed as a plug-and-socket system and/or wherein the first or second mounting part further comprises means for fastening to a ceiling or wall.
