Claims (12)

  1. Heating hairstyling appliance (1) for styling hair, comprising:
    - the first housing (10) having a plate (12) consisting of at least a first inner hair-treatment surface with a concave shape;
    - a second housing (20) including a longitudinal cylinder (22) forming a second hair treatment surface designed to be heated by a first electric heating system (23) inside the cylinder (22), where the heating system is an electrical resistor, a ceramic resistor or an electrically resistant flexible film ; the cylinder (22) is designed to be able to rotate freely along its longitudinal axis and has a radius of approximately the same length as the plate (12);
    - the housings being connected by a hinge (30) in a pivoting manner to define an open/close position for the appliance;
    the concave plate (12) being designed to cover the longitudinal cylinder (22) in the closed position according to an overlap angle (α) of between 160° and 190° so that the second treatment surface comes into contact with the first treatment surface to clasp the hair.

  11. Appliance according to one of the previous claims where the first hair treatment surface (12) is designed to be heated by a second heating system (13).
