Modifications are possible, particularly from the point of view of the constitution of the various elements or by substitution of technical equivalents, without departing from the scope of the invention, defined by the claims.
Claims (12)
- A hairdressing appliance (1) comprising:- a gripping means (2),- a body (3) for winding a hair lock composed of a portion (3p) proximal to the gripping means (2) and a portion (3d) distal to the gripping means (2),- means (7) for pinching the hair to hold the hair lock onto the winding body (3),- means (4) for heating the winding body (3),said proximal portion (3p) has on its outer surface heat reduction means (31, 32),
said distal portion (3d) has no heat reduction means characterised in that the axial length of the proximal portion (3p) is between 20 % and 50 % of the axial length of said body (3). - Hairdressing appliance according to the preceding claim, wherein the heat reduction means (31, 32) comprise a ring (31, 32) made of heat resistant insulating material around said proximal portion (3p).
- Hairdressing appliance according to claim 2, wherein the ring (31, 32) has a cylindrical shape of substantially constant thickness.
- Hairdressing appliance according to claim 2, wherein the ring (31, 32) has a cylindrical shape with cavities.
- Hairdressing appliance according to claims 2 to 4, wherein the ring (31, 32) is a part made from rubber or resin (31) surrounding the proximal part (3p).
- Hairdressing appliance according to the preceding claim, wherein the ring (31, 32) made from rubber or resin is composed mainly of silicone or elastomer or ethylene propylene diene monomer or leather or Velcro®.
- Hairdressing appliance according to the claim 2, wherein the ring (31, 32) is a heat-resistant paint (32) applied on the proximal portion (3p).
- Hairdressing appliance according to the one of the preceding claims, wherein the axial length of the proximal portion (3p) is between 30 % and 40 % of the axial length of said body (3).
- Hairdressing appliance according to the one of the preceding claims, wherein the pinching means (7) comprise a tile pivotable about a axis Δ transverse to the winding body (3), the length of said tile being substantially equal to that of the proximal part (3p).
- Hairdressing appliance according to the preceding claim, wherein the tile (7) has, on its inner surface designed to pinch the hair with the winding body (3), secondary heat reduction means (71) for the hair arranged opposite the heat reduction means (31, 32) of the winding body.
- Hairdressing appliance according to the preceding claim, wherein the secondary heat reduction means (71) comprise a layer of heat-resistant and insulating material, this layer being either substantially composed of rubber or resin or being composed of a heat-resistant paint.
- Hairdressing appliance according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that it comprises drive means (8) for rotating the assembly formed by the winding body (3) and the pinching means (7) and in that it comprises a control unit (9) for controlling the rotation of said assembly.
