  1. A hair straightening apparatus comprising:
    - a main body (3) having an air inlet (4) and an air outlet (5),

    - a handle (6) attached to said main body (3),
    - a straightening device (10) comprising at least two opposing straightening elements (11, 12) which cooperate to grip a strand of hair and being arranged at the end of the air outlet (5),
    - a device to displace the straightening elements and designed to modify the distance between the two opposing straightening elements,
    - and an adjustment device (14) designed to adjust the force of pressure between the straightening elements (11, 12),
    characterised in that it comprises a common pull tab (60) designed to transmit to the straightening device a control from said two distinct displacement and adjustment (14) devices.
  2. An apparatus according to claim 1, characterised in that the pull tab (60) is arranged so that it can move translationally along the same axis to actuate the displacement device when it moves in a first direction and the adjustment device (14) when it moves in the opposite direction.
  3. An apparatus according to one of claims 1 or 2, characterised in that the pull tab (60) can move in a direction parallel to that of the longitudinal axis (2) of the main body (3) of the apparatus.

An apparatus according to one of claims 8 or 9, characterised in that said adjustment device (14) comprises a linearly moveable adjustment member (17), which is designed to vary the tightening force between the straightening elements when the control ring (15) is driven in a rotational movement.
  11. An apparatus according to claim 10, characterised in that the inner surface of the control ring (15) comprises a helical ramp (18) which slidably receives a lug (19) of the adjustment member (18) parallel to the longitudinal axis of the apparatus.
  12. An apparatus according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the two straightening elements (11, 12) are formed by a fixed blade (21) and a mobile blade (22) supported by a slider (23).
  13. An apparatus according to claim 12, characterised in that the mobile blade (22) is mounted on the slider (23) under the pressure of a first return spring (24).
  14. An apparatus according to one of claims 12 or 13, characterised in that the slider (23) is mounted by means of a second return spring (25) in the housing (27) of the straightening device (10).
  15. An apparatus according to one of claims 12 to 14, characterised in that the straightening device (10) comprises a row (28) of several pairs of fixed (21) and mobile (22) blades mounted side by side transversal to the axis of said slider (23).
  16. An apparatus according to claim 15, characterised in that said row (28) is arranged in the middle of the opening (8) of the air outlet and that a row of spikes (29) is arranged on either side of the row (28) of straightening elements, recessed relative to the driving portion thereof.
  17. An apparatus according to one of claims 12 to 16, characterised in that the mobile blades (22) move in a direction transversal to that of the air flow blown by the apparatus.
  18. An apparatus according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the pull tab (60) is connected to a member that transmits the movement in a direction transversal to that of the air flow blown by the apparatus.
  19. An apparatus according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the straightening device (10) is removably mounted relative to the main body (3) of the apparatus.
