Cette projection de vapeur vers l'aval, avant le pincement de la mèche de cheveux entre les deux surfaces de traitement chauffantes 8, 9, permet d'anticiper la formation du condensat sur le second côté des cheveux. Sur les figures 3 et 4, les premiers moyens de projection 12 sont également constitués d'une rampe de buses 20 en remplacement de la fente 13 de la figure 2, lesdites buses 20 étant inclinées d'un angle α2 par rapport à la face interne 14 sur le premier bras 5. Cet angle α2 est égal à 90°, ce qui permet une projection de vapeur vers l'extérieur du premier bras 5, juste avant la surface de traitement chauffante 9 sur ce premier bras 5. Bien entendu, on peut envisager des variantes de conception de l'appareil de coiffure 1, avec l'une et/ou l'autre des conceptions de rampe de buses 18, 20 ou de fente 13 agencée sur l'un et/ou l'autre des premiers et seconds moyens de projection 12, 16. Cela permet de favoriser la formation du condensat sur le second côté des cheveux 24 avant le pincement de la mèche de cheveux entre les surfaces de traitement chauffantes 8, 9.
