The present invention relates to the technical field of hand-held devices used for hair styling or hair shaping. In a preferred but not exclusive application, the invention relates to the field of electrical hand-held apparatuses used for drying and / or shaping hair by means, in particular, of a hot air flow or by application of heat by means of contact such as hand-held electric hairdryers, blower brushes or even straightening, curling or curling irons without this list being exhaustive or exhaustive.
[2] When making a hairstyle, it may be desirable to apply, as and when the treatment of locks, a cosmetic product on the hair. To this end, a patent FR 2 136 410 proposed a blower comb whose handle comprises an electric fan adapted to blow air towards a hair treatment area defined by the comb. The handle of this blowing comb also comprises a tank of cosmetic liquid under pressure connected by a supply circuit to a spray disposed in the hair treatment area. According to this document, the handle also comprises a piston pump actuated by a push button allowing the user to trigger, by pressing the finger on the button, a liquid spray through the nozzle at the treatment area. Such a system effectively makes it possible to easily apply a product to the hair by limiting the risks of wasting of said cosmetic product. However, this system does not allow precise dosing the amount of product applied, and requires the user to press the push button to obtain the distribution of products which is not always easy depending on the part of the hair to treat. In addition, the cosmetic deposit is neither constant nor homogeneous. In addition, the user must, to treat all his hair, press many times the push button which imposes a relatively large effort causing some discomfort. 1 [03] In order to allow an automatic application of a cosmetic product to the hair, a patent EP 1 071 352 proposed a hairdryer comprising an accessory provided with teeth for shaping the hair whose teeth comprise means distribution of cosmetics activated by heat or moisture. According to this document, the teeth form a cavity inside which is disposed a given amount of cosmetics. Such a hair dryer effectively allows the application of a cosmetic product automatically in small quantities without the user having to worry about the amount of product applied but has the disadvantage of not being able to guarantee an application uniform cosmetic product on the hair to the extent that this application is dependent on heat and / or moisture that is likely to vary greatly depending on the areas of the treated hair. [04] It therefore appeared the need for a hand-held hairdressing device that allows an automatic dispensing of a cosmetic product without this distribution having to be the subject of a specific trigger action by the user, while avoiding that this application is dependent on the conditions of heat and humidity at the point of application. [05] In order to achieve this object the invention relates to a hand-held hairdressing apparatus comprising: shaping means or hairstyle comprising at least one hair treatment zone, dispensing means of a cosmetic product comprising: means for applying the product situated near or in the hair treatment zone, a supply circuit for the application means from a cosmetic product reservoir, comprising at least one pump.
According to the invention, this apparatus is characterized in that: - the shaping means are at least partly movable, the pump is operated by the movement of shaping means or hairstyle.
[6] The implementation of the pump, which is adapted to be operated automatically by the movement of the shaping means, allows to enslave the amount of product distributed to the extent of the treated hair area and by example to the length of each strand of hair treated so that this quantity is perfectly dosed. In addition, insofar as the supply of cosmetic product results from a mechanical action on the pump, the amount of product dispensed is independent of the heat and humidity conditions of the hair or the hand-held device according to the invention. invention. The apparatus according to the invention also makes it possible to dispense or apply amounts of cosmetic product greater than those which can be applied by means of a system as provided for by patent EP 1 071352. [7] In the In the context of the present invention, the term "cosmetic product" is intended to mean a product comprising one or more active principles for capillary use and in particular a product as defined by European Directive EC 93/35 of 14 June 1993. In this respect, water in liquid or gaseous form which does not contain any additive for capillary use does not constitute a cosmetic product within the meaning of the invention.
[8] According to the invention, the pump can be made in any suitable manner and, for example, in the form of a piston pump whose reciprocating movement of the piston is controlled by the movement of the means for shaping the hair . [9] According to a preferred, but not exclusive, form of a hand-held hairdressing apparatus according to the invention, each pump comprises: a flexible body which defines a pumping chamber, and at least one pressure member manipulated by the movement shaping means or hairstyle and adapted to intermittently or continuously press the flexible body. [10] Such an embodiment allows a lower cost manufacture of the pump. This low manufacturing cost makes it possible in particular to envisage a regular change of the flexible body which can then be considered as a consumable thus contributing to good hygiene of the apparatus according to the invention.
[11] According to a variant of the preferred embodiment, the flexible body is elastically deformable. [12] Thus, the constraint of the pressing member is used to expel the product from the pumping chamber while the elasticity of the body is used to suck the product into the pumping chamber when the organ presser no longer exerts stress on the flexible body. This reversible deformation of the body of the pump makes it possible to realize the latter and its operating mechanism at lower cost. [13] According to a characteristic of this variant, the dispensing means comprise between the pump and the application means, at least one non-return valve adapted to allow a flow of cosmetic product from the pump to the application means. According to the invention this non-return valve can be placed between the outlet of the pump and the application means. It can also be integrated into the application means which may for example comprise one or more nozzles each made in the form of two elastically deformable lips which deviate during the expulsion of the product and are tightened against each other then. Such a sealed non-return valve distribution can also be integrated in the output of the pump and in particular the body of the latter.
[14] According to a variant of the preferred embodiment of the invention, the dispensing means comprise between the cosmetic product reservoir and the pump at least one non-return valve adapted to allow a flow of cosmetic product from the reservoir to the pump. This suction check valve can be located on the circuit between the pump and the tank. This non-return valve can also be integrated into the tank or integrated into the pump inlet and in particular the constituent body of the latter.
[15] According to the invention, the flexible body of each pump can be formed by a reservoir containing a sufficient amount of product to allow the distribution of several doses of product and in particular contain enough product to ensure a complete sequence of treatment. In this case, the flexible body may be a disposable element that can be replaced with each use of this accessory body. The flexible body of the pump can also form a one-piece assembly with the supply circuit and the dispensing nozzle, together also likely to be replaced each time the tank is empty.
[16] However, such an embodiment is not necessary for the invention. Thus, according to one characteristic of the invention, the dispensing means comprise a cosmetic product reservoir located upstream of each pump. This reservoir separate from the pump makes it possible to increase the autonomy of the apparatus according to the invention.
[17] Thus, according to the invention the tank can be removable or on the contrary be fixed. [18] When the apparatus according to the invention comprises a reservoir, the dispensing means may comprise at least one filling orifice of the reservoir. Such an orifice can be used to fill the tank, especially when the latter is not removable. [19] According to the invention, the hand-held hairdressing apparatus can be of various types and preferably the apparatus according to the invention is a hand-held electric hairdressing appliance. Thus, the hand-held hairdressing apparatus according to the invention may comprise electric means for heating the treatment zone. The hand-held hairdressing appliance according to the invention may also comprise electrical means for blowing air towards the treatment zone. [20] The hairdressing apparatus according to the invention may, for example, be designed to allow shaping or smoothing with heating of the hair by contact and form in particular a curling iron or a straightener. Thus, in an alternative embodiment, the hand-held hairdressing apparatus comprises two jaws, first and second, which are articulated together by a hinge, to be movable between an open position and a closed position, which comprise working surfaces. forming the hair shaping means and defining the hair treatment area in the closed position of the jaws. Each pump is then maneuvered by the movements of the jaws or working surfaces relative to each other. [21] In the context of this variant, the hairdressing appliance may comprise electrical heating means associated with at least one of the working surfaces. Still in the context of this variant, the hand-held hairdressing apparatus may include means for operating each pump which are adapted to maneuver each pump after a predetermined number of consecutive movements of opening and closing of the jaws. The implementation of such operating means prevents the pump is actuated at each opening closing cycle so as to allow a better dosage of the cosmetic product. Such an embodiment is particularly suitable for application means comprising a felt or a porous material through which the cosmetic product is dispensed.
[22] Finally, in the context of this variant, the working surfaces can be flat or curved in forms substantially complementary to one another. [23] According to another embodiment of the invention, the shaping means or hairstyle comprise at least one rotating roller. Such a roll will preferably be rotatable on itself along its longitudinal axis. Thus, the shaping means or hairstyle may comprise a smooth roller, a roller with a grooved or textured outer surface, or a roller with bristles forming a rotating brush. Such a brush may then be associated with an electric fan system to form a blower brush. The rotation of the roll forming means can be used to drive or actuate the pump.
[24] Of course, the various features, variations and embodiments of the invention may be associated with each other in various combinations to the extent that they are not incompatible or exclusive of each other.
Figure 8 is a schematic view of a hand-held hairdressing apparatus according to the invention forming a curling iron or curling iron. Figure 9 is a schematic view of a hand-held hairdressing apparatus according to the invention forming a heating electric brush and / or blower.
Figure 10 is a schematic view of a hand-held hairdressing apparatus according to the invention forming a looper. In these figures, the common references designate elements common to the various forms and / or variants of embodiment. [26] A hand-held hairdressing apparatus according to the invention is capable of being realized in different ways depending on its purpose and the type of treatment that it is likely to apply to the hair. [27] Thus, the hairdressing apparatus according to the invention can constitute a straightener, as illustrated in Figures 1 and 2, generally designated by the reference A. The hairdressing apparatus A comprises a first elongate jaw 1 of general parallelepipedal shape and extending along a longitudinal axis L. The hairdressing apparatus A also comprises a second jaw 2 which is also elongate and extends along a longitudinal axis L '. The jaws 1 and 2 are connected near one of their ends by a hinge or pivot link 4 of axis O. Thus, the jaws 1 and 2 are hinged together and movable between an open position 0 as illustrated in Figure 1, and a closed position not shown.
[28] The hairdressing apparatus A comprises means M shaping the hair which according to the illustrated example include for each jaw 1 and 2, a working surface, respectively S1, S2, near an end of the corresponding jaw opposite the link 4. The working surfaces S1, S2 are located opposite one another and extend over only a portion of the length of the jaws 1 and 2, so as to define closed position a zone Z of hair treatment. The working surfaces S1, S2 constitute, in combination with the jaws 1 and 2 which carry them, mobile shaping means M, within the meaning of the invention. [29] According to the illustrated example, the two jaws 1 and 2 further contribute to define by their regions of their backs P1, P2 located between the working surfaces S1 and S2 and the articulation 4 in hinge or pivot connection means P gripping device of the hairstyling apparatus A. Thus, taking into account the articulation of the jaws 1 and 2 between them, the second working surface S2 is movable relative to the portion P1 of the gripping means formed by the first jaw 1 while the first working surface S1 is movable relative to the portion P2 of the gripping means formed by the second jaw 2 so that the forming means M are partially movable relative to a portion of the gripping means P. [30] Each working surface S1 and S2 has, according to the illustrated example, a generally rectangular shape and is made of a thermally conductive material having a surface state adapted to be placed in con tact of hair without risk of deteriorating them. Thus, each working surface S1, S2 could for example be smooth while being polished or possibly covered with an enamel, a ceramic material, a polymer material or an enamel (for example with a low coefficient of friction). or a layer of glass.
[31] The working surfaces S1 and S2 are for example formed by smoothing plates respectively first and second 6. The smoothing plates 5 and 6 are each associated with electric heating means 7 in contact with the rear surface of the corresponding plate, located opposite the working surface S1, S2, as shown in Figure 2. The electric heating means can be made in any suitable manner such as for example in the form of a resistive heating element CTP or infrared emission. The electric heating means 7 are therefore located inside the first 1 and second 2 jaws. The heating means are connected by a cord 10 to a power supply such as an electricity distribution network. The cord 10 supplies control means 11 enabling a user to select a set temperature. Of course, the power supply of the hairdressing apparatus A could also be provided by batteries or batteries arranged inside one and / or the other jaws 1 and 2. Similarly, the means The heating means could also be designed to maintain a predetermined target temperature automatically. The embodiments of the heating means and the possible control unit are well known to those skilled in the art and therefore do not require further description in the scope of the present invention.
According to an essential characteristic of the invention, the hairdressing apparatus A further comprises means for dispensing a liquid cosmetic product, in liquid or pasty form, with a view to its automatic application to the The dispensing means 20 comprise application means 21 which, as shown in FIG. 2, are adjacent to the second smoothing plate 6 so as to be in the zone Z of FIG. hair treatment. The tank V can be located under the smoothing plate 6 which reduces the size of the handle and slightly heat the cosmetic fluid for greater efficiency in the application.
[33] The application means 21 are connected to a product reservoir 22 by a supply circuit 23 as is more particularly apparent from FIG. 3. In order to supply the application means 21 with the means of distribution 20 comprise upstream of the application means 21 a pump 24 located on the supply circuit 23 between the reservoir 22 and the application means 21.
[34] According to an essential characteristic of the invention, the pump 24 is operated by the movement of the shaping means M, and in this case by the alternating movement of the working surfaces S1, S2 and more particularly the jaws 1 and 2, during the closing / opening cycles of the hairstyling apparatus A. Thus, the product supply of the application means 21 is automatic and controlled by the movements of the jaws 1 and 2. According to the illustrated example, the pump 24 comprises a rigid body 26 which defines with a piston 27 a pumping chamber 28 connected, on the one hand, to the reservoir 22 and, on the other hand, to the application means 21 by corresponding segments of the circuit of FIG. 23. The piston 27 is subjected to the return action of at least one and, according to the illustrated example, two springs 29. The piston 27 carries a rod 30 which extends outside the second jaw 2 so that its free end 31 provides a surface for support of the first jaw 1. Thus, when the first jaw 1 is closed towards the second jaw 2, the first jaw presses the rod 30 so that the downward translation of the piston 27 decreases the volume of the jaw. pumping chamber 28. When the first jaw 1 is open, the pressure on the rod 30 is released and the piston 27 is pushed by the springs 29 which increases the volume of the pumping chamber 28. To ensure an effect pumping, the dispensing means comprise on the distribution circuit upstream of the pump 24, between the reservoir 22 and the latter, a non-return valve 35 adapted to allow a flow of the product from the tank 22 to the pump 24 but not reverse. In the same way, the distribution means 20 comprise, between the external medium and the pump 24 at least one and according to the illustrated example, several non-return valves 36 adapted to allow a circulation of products from the pump 24 to the pump means. application 21 and the outside but not in the opposite direction. The non-return valves 36 thus avoid an air intake. According to the illustrated example, the non-return valves 36 are each formed by the two elastic lips of a nozzle for applying the cosmetic product so that there are as many check valves 36 as there are nozzles. [35] Thus the product contained in the reservoir 22 is automatically brought to the application means 21 without the user having to worry about this distribution or the quantity dispensed. [36] According to the example shown in Figure 3, the reservoir 22 is removably fitted in a housing 45 of the hairdressing appliance. Thus, the user can easily recharge the device by simply replacing the reservoir 22 which is engaged on a draining cannula 46 projecting inside the housing 45.30 [37] According to the example described previously in connection with Figures 1 and 2, the body 26 of the pump 24 is rigid. However, such a rigid body 26 is not necessary for the realization of a pump according to the invention. Thus, FIG. 4 illustrates an embodiment variant of the hairdressing appliance according to which the body 26 of the pump 24 is made of an elastically deformable flexible material. The first jaw 1 then comprises a pressing member 47 which presses on the body 26 during closure of the jaws 1 and 2. The pressure exerted by the pressing member 47 on the flexible body 26 induces the expulsion of the product it contains the application means 21. When the pressure of the pressing member 47 is released, the opening of the jaws 1 and 2, the elastic flexible body 26 then naturally returns to its shape which helps to suck the product from the tank 22 in the pumping chamber 28 by the non-return valve 35.
[38] The embodiment variant illustrated in FIG. 4 also differs, from the variant described with reference to FIGS. 1 to 3, in that the application means 21 are formed by a chamber 48 which opens towards the external to a series of application nozzles 49. Within the meaning of the invention, a dispensing nozzle may be formed by any orifice of any shape adapted to allow the passage of the treatment product to the outside and more particularly to the hair It should be noted that the dispensing or application nozzles 49 could also be replaced by a porous material such as an open-cell cellular synthetic material or a textile felt.
According to the example described with reference to FIG. 3, the reservoir 22 is removable.
However, according to the invention the reservoir 22 could be integral with the hairdressing apparatus A, without being removable, as illustrated in FIG. 4. According to this example, the reservoir 22 then comprises a filling orifice 50 intended to receive a cannula 51 filling a conditioning tube 52 of cosmetic product. According to this example, the filling orifice 50 is associated with a non-return valve 53 preventing any leakage of product after filling of the reservoir 22. [40] According to the embodiments described above, the pump 24 is actuated at each closing of the pump. However, such a periodicity of the action of the pump 24 is not necessary for the realization of the dispensing means 20 according to the invention. Indeed, depending on the type of application means 21 used it may be desirable to operate the pump only after a predetermined number of opening / closing jaws 1 and 2. To do this, the invention proposes in a embodiment, to implement operating means 60 which are adapted to operate each pump of the hairdressing appliance after a predetermined number of consecutive opening / closing movements. According to the means and the example illustrated in FIG. 5, the actuating means 60 comprise an intermediate finger 61 movable in translation between a rest position R as illustrated in FIG. 5 in solid lines and a working position T represented in phantom. In the working position T, the intermediate finger 61 is placed between the pressing member 47 and the flexible body 26 of the pump so that pressure can be exerted on said body 26 when the jaws 1 and 2 are closed. On the other hand, in the rest position R, the intermediate finger 61 is disengaged relative to the pressing member 47 and the flexible body 26 so that in the closed position of the jaws no pressure is exerted on the flexible body 26 of the pump . The intermediate finger 61 is furthermore actuated by a cam 62 driven in rotation by a ratchet wheel system 63 which transforms the opening / closing movements of the jaws into a rotation of the cam 62 in the direction of the arrow F1. The cam 62 then comprises protuberances 64 adapted to regularly push the intermediate finger 61 into the working position while it is returned to the rest position by a spring 65. The protuberances 64 are, according to the illustrated example, arranged at the periphery of the cam 62 so as to move the intermediate finger 61 in the working position every two closures of the hairdressing apparatus A so that the pump 24 is actuated every other time.
[41] According to the invention, the pump of the application means 21 is not necessarily a reciprocating pump as has been previously described. Indeed, the pump application means 21 may be a peristaltic pump 24 as shown in Figure 6. According to this embodiment, the body 26 is formed in the form of a resilient flexible tube arranged in an arc and on which act pressing members 70 spaced regularly on the periphery of a wheel 71. The actuating means 60 then comprise a ratchet system 72 comprising a wheel 73 associated with a non-return pawl 74. The wheel is driven by rotation by a finger 75 secured to the first jaw 1. The finger 75 is adapted to act on the wheel 73 so as to drive it in the direction of the arrow F3 when closing the first jaw and to allow a free opening of the first jaw 1 while the rotation of the wheel in the opposite direction to that of the arrow F3 is prohibited by the non-return pawl 74. The ratchet system 72 therefore transforms the movements of open ure / closing the jaws in a rotation of the wheel 73 which is connected to the wheel 71 so as to ensure the operation of the pump 24. [42] According to the example described above the working surfaces S1 and S2 are substantially planar. However, the working surfaces S1 and S2 could have other shapes while being complementary to one another. The work surfaces may, for example, each have a curved shape. Thus, the hairdressing appliance according to the invention can form a curling or curling iron as illustrated in FIG.
[43] According to this embodiment, the first jaw 1 defines, in its part located on the side of the electrical cord 10, gripping means P. The working surface S1, located opposite the gripping means P, has a substantially cylindrical shape of revolution and is associated with not shown heating means. The first working surface S1 is further provided with nozzles 49 for dispensing or applying a cosmetic product. The second jaw 2 is articulated on the first jaw 1, at a distance from the ends thereof, between the gripping means P and the first working surface Si. The second working surface S2 has the shape of a tile adapted to According to this example, the second working surface S2 is not associated with heating means. The second jaw 2 comprises, opposite to the second working surface S2 relative to the hinge joint or pivot connection 4, a branch or actuating member 70 which makes it possible to open the appliance A. operation 70 then presses during the opening of the second jaw on the rod 30 of the pump 24, not visible in Figure 8, to ensure the distribution of products through the nozzles 49. The pump can be performed as described in connection with the FIG. 3 while the application means can be made as described with reference to FIG. 4. [44] A hand-held hairdressing device according to the invention is not necessarily a straightener or a curling iron as previously described but can also form a rotary brush as shown in Figure 9. The hairstyling apparatus A then comprises as a gripping means P a handle 80 which carries as shaping means M a roller 81 movable in r The roller 81 comprises means 21 for applying a cosmetic product which are fed by a peristaltic pump 24 as illustrated in FIG. 6, the wheel 71 of which is driven by the rotation of roller 81. Roll 81 also includes bristles to form a rotating brush. The roller is hollow with through holes for the air blown by a motor-fan assembly 82. Such a hairdressing appliance may then comprise a motor for rotating said brush 81 as well as air blowing means 82. [45] FIG. 10 illustrates yet another embodiment of a hand-held hairdressing apparatus constituting, according to this example, a looper whose shaping means M comprise, on the one hand, a movable roll 85 in rotation on itself and, secondly, a jaw 86 adapted to pinch the hair of a wick to be treated against the roller 85. The handle 80 of the apparatus comprises means for blowing hot air not visible in the figure. The handle 80 of the apparatus also comprises a portion of the cosmetic product dispensing means including the reservoir and pump not visible in the figure to supply the application means 21 arranged in the portion of the jaw 86 facing the roller 85 The rotation of the roller 85 is then used to drive the pump and supply the supply means 21. The pump may then be a peristaltic pump as described in Figure 6. According to the example of FIG. 10, the manual rotation of the roller 85 is ensured by means of a knob 87 fitted to the free end of the roller 85. However, the rotation of the roller 85 could also be ensured by means of an electric motor arranged in the handle 80 [46] Of course, various other modifications may be made to a hand-held hairdressing apparatus according to the invention within the scope of the appended claims.
