Quand les rouleaux sont recouverts de cosmétique solide ou fluide, le contact voire aussi la chaleur et/ou le frottement sur les cheveux permet une dépose du cosmétique homogène.
Quand les surfaces de traitement sont un rouleau en regard d'une tuile, alors l'utilisateur tiendra l'appareil avec le rouleau vers le bas et la tuile vers le haut au niveau de la racine, ceci permettant de décoller la racine de la mèche et garder cette forme pendant 1 ou 2 jours.
Bien entendu, l'invention n'est nullement limitée aux modes de réalisation décrits et illustrés qui n'ont été donnés qu'à titre d'exemple. Des modifications restent possibles, notamment du point de vue de la constitution des divers éléments ou par substitution d'équivalents techniques, sans sortir pour autant du domaine de protection de l'invention telle que revendiquée.

Claims (16)

  1. Hairstyling appliance (1) for styling hair, comprising a first housing (10) and a second housing (20) facing the first one (10); the housings (10, 20) having a longitudinal axis (L, L') being connected in a pivoting manner by a hinge (30) to define open/close positions for the appliance;
    - the first housing (10) having a first hair treatment surface (12) intented to be heated by a first heating system (13);
    - the second housing (20) having at least one second hair treatment surface (22) intended to come into contact with the first surface (12) in order to grip the hair in the closed position;
    characterised in that it only has two cylinders (14, 15) arranged on each side of one of the treatment surfaces (12, 22), the cylinders being mounted to be able to rotate around their longitudinal axis (Δ14; Δ15) and being rotated only by the movement of the hair straightener down to the ends of the hair.
  2. Appliance according to the previous claim where the two cylinders (14, 15) can rotate around their respective longitudinal axis (Δ14; Δ15).
  3. Appliance according to one of the previous claims where the longitudinal axis (Δ14; Δ15) of the two cylinders (14, 15) are parallel.
  4. Appliance according to one of the previous claims where both cylinders (14, 15) are arranged directly adjacent to said treatment surface (12).
  5. Appliance according to one of the previous claims where the axis of the two cylinders (14, 15) and each of the two edges (16, 17) of the treatment surface adjacent to the cylinders (14, 15) are substantially coplanar.
  6. Appliance according to one of the previous claims where the cylinders are arranged on either side of the first treatment surface (12).
  7. Appliance according to claim 6 where the second housing (20) has its longitudinal edges (20', 20") arranged on either side of the second treatment surface (22) and facing the cylinders (14, 15) in the closed position.
  8. Appliance according to claim 6 where the second housing (20) comprises two grooves (24, 25) each arranged on either side of the second treatment surface (22) to each receive a cylinder (14, 15) in the closed position.
  9. Appliance according to claim 6 where the second housing (20) only covers the first treatment surface (12).
  10. Appliance according to one of the previous claims where the second treatment surface (22) is substantially cylindrical and where the first treatment surface (12) has the shape of a tile, covering, in the closed position, the second treatment surface (22), e.g. along an axis of recovery between 160° and 190°, preferably close to 180°.
  11. Appliance according to the previous claim where the second treatment surface (22) comprises a cylinder attached to the second housing which rotates around its longitudinal axis (I).
  12. Appliance according to one of claims 1 to 9 where the two treatment surfaces (12, 22) are both smooth.
  13. Appliance according to one of the previous claims where the cylinders (14, 15) have a diameter between 3 and 6 mm, ideally between 4 and 5 mm.
  14. Appliance according to one of the previous claims where the cylinders are metal or plastic.
  15. Appliance according to one of the previous claims where the second hair treatment surface (22) is designed to be heated by a second heating system (23).
  16. Appliance operation method according to one of the previous claims including the following steps:
    a) Apply the device to the root of a lock of hair and clasp together in a fixed position for several seconds,
    b) then rotate the appliance around its longitudinal axis (L) about a quarter turn downwards,
    c) and then slide all along the lock of hair.
