Abstract
La présente invention a trait à un système frigorifique en cascade qui fait circuler un fluide frigorigène comprenant une fluoro-oléfine à travers celui-ci. Le système frigorifique en cascade inclut une boucle de réfrigération à basse température et une boucle de réfrigération à température moyenne. La fluoro-oléfine circule d'un bout à l'autre de l'une ou l'autre boucle ou des deux boucles. Selon un mode de réalisation particulier, la fluoro-oléfine circule d'un bout à l'autre de la boucle à température moyenne. Selon un mode de réalisation particulier, le système frigorifique en cascade inclut un premier et un second échangeur de chaleur en cascade et une boucle de transfert de chaleur secondaire qui s'étend entre les premier et second échangeurs de chaleur en cascade, et le premier et/ou le second fluide frigorigène peuvent être, mais ne sont pas nécessairement, une fluoro-oléfine.
