Unité d'impression selon l'une ou plusieurs des revendications 2, 3, 9 ou 10, caractérisée en ce qu'il est prévu un nombre j = 4 d'éléments de maintien (33) ou de groupes d'éléments de maintien (33) espacés entre eux transversalement à la direction longitudinale (rl) pour la réception des extrémités (09 ; 11) de quatre clichés d'impression (06) disposés l'un derrière l'autre.
  12. Procédé de préparation de plusieurs clichés d'impression (06) à appliquer nouvellement dans une unité d'impression (01) sur au moins un cylindre porte-cliché (03) au moyen d'un dispositif de stockage (17) affecté à l'unité d'impression (01), lequel comporte une traverse (36) en une ou plusieurs parties s'étendant en direction longitudinale (rl) parallèlement au cylindre ou aux cylindres porte-cliché (03), et est monté sur ses deux côtés dans des bâtis latéraux (04) de l'unité d'impression (01), où des clichés d'impression (06) à disposer à des emplacements définis du dispositif de stockage (17) doivent être retirés par une unité de transfert (18) associée à l'unité d'impression (01), et où, dans des éléments de maintien (33) disposés sur une même longueur (49) de la même traverse (36) ou sur une même longueur (51) d'une même barre de support (47) disposée sur la traverse (36), plusieurs clichés d'impression (06) sont maintenus par leurs extrémités avant (09) pliées tant côte à côte dans la direction longitudinale (rl) que les uns derrière les autres transversalement à celle-ci sur des éléments de maintien (33) décalés les uns par rapport aux autres transversalement à la direction longitudinale (rl) de ladite longueur (49 ; 51), en étant accrochés dans les éléments de maintien (33), de telle manière que, vues en direction longitudinale des clichés d'impression (06), les extrémités (09) de clichés d'impression (06) disposés les uns derrière les autres sont maintenues décalées entre elles par des éléments de maintien (33) espacés les uns des autres.
  13. Procédé selon la revendication 12, caractérisé en ce que les clichés d'impression (06) disposés les uns derrière les autres ne sont pas stockés dans des trémies propres, mais sont superposés les uns aux autres.
  14. Procédé selon la revendication 12, caractérisé en ce que la traverse (36) est chargée de clichés d'impression (06) dans une position de chargement (P17.1), et est amenée dans une position de travail (P17.2 ; P17.3) après le chargement des clichés d'impression (06) pour une traction automatique des clichés d'impression (06) sur le ou les cylindres porte-cliché (03).
  15. Procédé selon la revendication 14, caractérisé en ce qu'un ou plusieurs des clichés d'impression (06) est ou sont repris de la traverse (36) du dispositif de stockage (17) qui se trouve en position de travail (P17.2 ; P17.3) par une unité de transfert (18) associée à l'unité d'impression (01), et est ou sont amenés en position de transfert (P18.2) proche du cylindre porte-cliché.
