Abstract
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Unterbrechung der Garnherstellung an einer Spinnmaschine, wobei die Spinnmaschine zumindest eine Spinnstelle (1) mit einem Eingang (2) für ein Fasermaterial (3) und einem Ausgang (4) für das aus dem Fasermaterial (3) hergestellte Garn (5) aufweist, und wobei die Spinnmaschine eine Liefereinrichtung (6) für die Zufuhr des Fasermaterials (3) in die Spinnstelle (1), eine Abzugseinrichtung (7) für den Abzug des Garns (5) aus der Spinnstelle (1), eine Spulvorrichtung (8) zur Aufspulung des hergestellten Garns (5) und eine Garnüberwachungseinheit (9) zur Überwachung wenigstens eines Garnparameters aufweist, wobei die Garnherstellung bei Detektion einer definierten Abweichung des überwachten Garnparameters von einem Sollwert, bei einem Spulenwechsel an der Spulvorrichtung (8) und/oder vor dem Abschalten der Spinnmaschine unterbrochen wird. Erfindungsgemäß wird vorgeschlagen, dass zur Unterbrechung der Garnherstellung die Fördergeschwindigkeiten der Liefereinrichtung (6), der Abzugseinrichtung (7) und der Spulvorrichtung (8) allmählich bis zu deren Stillstand reduziert werden, wobei die Reduzierung derart erfolgt, dass sich das Ende (10) des hergestellten Garns (5) nach Abschluss der Reduzierung zwischen dem Ausgang (4) der Spinnstelle (1) und der Spulvorrichtung (8) befindet. Ferner wird eine Spinnmaschine mit einer Steuer- und/oder Regelungseinheit beschrieben, die ausgelegt ist, die Spinnmaschine gemäß dem erfindungsgemäßen Verfahren zu betreiben.
