Definitions

  • the invention relates to a knitting tool bar having a body and at least one knitting tool arrangement, which has a plurality of knitting tools combined in a base and fixed to a fixing region of the body, wherein the base bears against a contact surface of the fastening area and the body has an edge which Knitting tool arrangement is adjacent.
  • a knitting tool bar In order to be able to move similar knitting tools in a knitting machine, in particular a warp knitting machine, in a similar manner, similar knitting tools are arranged on a knitting tool bar.
  • a knitting tool bar extends over the working width of the knitting machine. It can therefore have a length of several meters. Currently working widths and bar lengths of 6 m are possible.
  • the knitting tools are grouped together in groups. They are held in so-called versions or active tool holders, which are attached to the knitting tool bar in the mounting area. This knitting tool holders hold the knitting tools often in a zinc alloy, a plastic or a light metal. You summarize the knitting tools on a width of one or more inches.
  • the attachment of a knitting tool holder to the knitting tool bar usually takes place by passing a fixing screw through a hole in the knitting tool holder and screwing this fixing screw into a threaded hole in the fixing area of the knitting tool bar.
  • the threaded hole can be made so that it cuts into a subsequently introduced hole a thread or you can previously, in the production of the Wirktechnikmaschinebarre, position a threaded member at the intended location.
  • the threaded holes are arranged in a corresponding repeat. Adjustment possibilities for the active tool holder arise only by the play of the fastening screw in the hole of the socket.
  • DE 15 85 148 B1 shows the attachment of the thread guide of flat warp knitting machines.
  • the thread guide engages with its upper end around the top of the bar, in which a longitudinal groove is provided, in which the thread guide shaft is fixed by means of a clamping shoe.
  • the clamping shoe is pressed into the groove with the aid of a screw.
  • the thread guide shaft has two tabs, which are pushed out of the shaft.
  • DE 100 38 264 C1 shows a similar embodiment.
  • the thread guide is attached to a shaft that widens towards the bar.
  • the shaft has two clamping surfaces at its upper end.
  • a sliding piece is provided, which is inserted into the shaft and a screw is screwed into the sliding piece and acts via a compression spring on a support plate, which in turn acts on the shaft, so that the clamping surfaces are pressed against the bar.
  • DE 198 55 711 A1 shows a device for attachment of active elements to the bar of a warp knitting machine and associated tool for removing and installing the active elements.
  • the active elements are here combined by two hollow pins to form a group.
  • the group of active elements is accommodated in a groove on a longitudinal side of a body.
  • the active elements are held by a spring which engages with one end behind a projection on the active elements and with another end in a groove on the body.
  • the invention has for its object to make a barre as universally applicable.
  • the knitting tool arrangement clampingly surrounds the fastening area from the outside, it is no longer necessary to intervene in the structure of the body and to provide any fastening bores or other perforations there which could weaken the body.
  • the knitting tool bar can rather be designed as a continuous strand, which has the same cross-section and the same internal structure over its entire length. This results in a simpler production.
  • the subsequent introduction of holes or tapped holes in the body is no longer necessary, so that the production is easier, because steps are eliminated.
  • the body has over its entire length a similar surface, so that the post-processing of the knitting tool bar after making, for example, a grinding of its surface, is simplified. Also, the introduction of fasteners in the body during manufacture is no longer necessary.
  • the fastening of the knitting tool arrangement takes place exclusively by clamping.
  • This has the further advantage that the knitting tool holder can be moved along the fastening area and thus fixed at practically any position.
  • this depression facilitates assembly, if one uses a resilient bias of the clamping element.
  • the knitting tool assembly is simply clipped onto the body of the knitting tool bar by a part of the clamping element engages in the recess. Once this is done, there is no longer any risk that the knitting tool assembly falls off the bar. The installer can then align the knitting tool assembly in peace, without the need for additional holding means or the like.
  • the knitting tool assembly surrounds the edge.
  • the knitting tool arrangement can be kept relatively small. It encloses only a relatively small part of the body, namely the part which is adjacent to the edge.
  • the knitting tool arrangement has a base and a clamping element, which is resiliently biased in the direction of the base.
  • This bias can be realized in different ways, for example by a spring or by a compression or expansion of parts of the knitting tool assembly. Then you can make an alignment without the risk that the knitting tool assembly falls from the bar.
  • the clamping element can be acted upon by a tightening device, with the clamping forces between the clamping element and the base can be generated, which are greater than a spring preload.
  • the clamping element is held captive on the base. This facilitates the assembly.
  • the installer can practically mount the knitting tool holder with one hand on the body.
  • the tightening means comprise an insert inserted into the base from one side, the clamping member being disposed on the other side of the base, and the insert and the clamping member being interconnected by the base through a biasing means ,
  • the clamping means may be, for example, a threaded screw.
  • the clamping element is pivotable relative to the insert about a hinge axis.
  • the clamping element and the base thus form a kind of pliers, with which one can generate the necessary forces for tightening in a simple manner.
  • the hinge axis also serves to hold the parts together captive.
  • the clamping element has a projecting beyond the hinge axis projection which rests against the base. With the help of this extension, the forces can be generated, which can be used for the resilient bias.
  • the recess has an edge wall adjacent to the side, which is inclined.
  • the Forming tool assembly perpendicular to the longitudinal extent of the knitting tools and perpendicular to a thickness direction of the knitting tool bar to pull in a predetermined position. This makes it easier to arrange all knitting tools without much effort along a same straight line.
  • the part of the knitting tool arrangement is the clamping element and the clamping element has a clamping surface whose inclination is adapted to the inclination of the side wall.
  • the body preferably has a positioning groove, into which the knitting tool arrangement protrudes.
  • the knitting tool arrangement have an inclined surface which projects into the positioning groove.
  • the positioning groove may have a bevel adapted to the inclined surface.
  • the positioning groove thus fulfills two tasks. On the one hand, it defines an end position up to which the knitting tool arrangement can be displaced perpendicular to the longitudinal extent of the knitting tool bar and perpendicular to the thickness direction of the knitting tool bar on the knitting tool bar.
  • cooperating with the inclined surface counter-slope prevents the knitting tool assembly tilts against the body of the bar.
  • the positioning groove holds the knitting tool arrangement, so to speak, at a second position on the fastening area.
  • the knitting tool arrangement has a knitting tool socket, which is symmetrical to a plane which is parallel to the body.
  • you can, for example, reuse worn hole needles by turning the tool holder.
  • the knitting tool arrangement has at least one engagement surface for a positioning tool. This facilitates the positioning of the knitting tool arrangement with respect to the knitting tool bar.
  • a knitting tool assembly 4 is attached to the body 2.
  • the body 2 has a mounting area with a contact surface 5, on, as in Fig. 2 can be seen, the knitting tool assembly 4 can be placed.
  • the knitting tool assembly 4 has a plurality of knitting tools 6, which are formed in the present case as a hole needles and thus can be used as guide needles.
  • the knitting tools 6 are combined in a knitting tool holder 7.
  • the knitting tool holder 7 may also be referred to more generally as "base”.
  • the knitting tool holder 7 has a passage opening 8 into which an insert 9 is inserted from one side. Through the insert 9, a clamping screw 10 is guided, which can also be referred to as "clamping means".
  • the clamping screw 10 is screwed into a clamping element 11, which is arranged on the other side of the knitting tool holder 7. Both the insert 9 and the clamping element 11 have outside the passage opening an extension which is greater than the extent of the passage opening 8, so that after screwing the clamping screw 10 in the clamping element 11 of the insert 9 and the clamping member 11 captive on the knitting tool holder. 7 are held.
  • the clamping element 11 has a joint extension 12 which projects into the passage opening 8.
  • the insert 9 has a joint shell 13, so that the clamping element 11 can be pivoted relative to the insert 9 and relative to the knitting tool holder 7 about a hinge axis 14.
  • the clamping element 11 has on the side facing away from the clamping screw 10 side over the hinge axis 14 projecting extension 15 which rests against the knitting tool holder 7 or at least can come to rest when the clamping member 11 is pivoted about the hinge axis 14.
  • the body 2 has in its attachment region 16 a recess 17 which extends parallel to the edge 3. Different Expressed between the recess 17 and the edge 3, a bead is arranged. In this recess 17, the clamping member 11 protrudes with a locking projection 18 in.
  • the recess 17 is cup-shaped in cross section. It thus has a side wall 19 which is adjacent to the edge 3 and which is inclined. With this inclined side wall 19, a clamping surface 20 cooperates, which is formed on the latching projection 18.
  • the clamping surface 20 is also inclined. Its inclination is adapted to the inclination of the side wall 19 in this area.
  • the body 2 has a positioning groove 21, in which the socket 7 with two tips 22 (FIG. Fig. 1 ) protrudes.
  • the tips 22 each have an inclined surface 23.
  • the positioning groove 21 has a corresponding counter bevel 24.
  • the clamping screw is released so far that the clamping element 11 can be so far resiliently spread with respect to the knitting tool holder 7, that the locking projection 18 are moved across the bead and in the recess 17 can occur.
  • This position is in Fig. 3 shown.
  • the resilient spreading results because when spreading the extension 15 is brought to the active tool holder 7 for conditioning and at least one of these two parts can be slightly elastically deformed. Even if the prevailing in this situation clamping forces are not sufficient to securely hold the active tool holder 7 in the operation of the active tool bar 1 on the body 2, but there is already a captive mounting the knitting tool assembly 4 on the body 2.
  • the fitter can then positioning the Make knitting tool assembly 4 in the longitudinal direction of the body 2.
  • the knitting tool assembly 4 is tightened by operating the clamping screw 10 by the clamping screw 10 is rotated relative to the clamping element 11. In many cases, only less than one revolution of the clamping screw 10 with respect to the clamping element 11 is required here.
  • the clamping element 11 is moved to the insert 9 to.
  • the clamping surface 20 slides on the inclined side wall 19 of the recess 17, so that the knitting tool holder 7 is pulled in the direction of the arrow 25 and the tips 22 are moved into the positioning groove 21.
  • the extension 15 on the clamping element can also be omitted if the resilient bias between the clamping element 11 and the knitting tool holder 7 can be achieved in another way, for example via the clamping screw 10 and the insert 9.
  • the clamping screw 10 is provided on one side of the knitting tool bar 1, at which a fitter has access. On this side, the warp threads are often fed.
  • the 4 and 5 show an embodiment, compared to the embodiment of the Fig. 1 to 3 modified. Identical and functionally identical elements are provided with the same reference numerals.
  • the contact surface 5 is how it looks Fig. 5 can be seen, now arranged on the other side of the body 2.
  • the screw 10 is inserted through the clamping element 11 and screwed into the insert 9.
  • the fitter of the same side as in the Fig. 1 to 3 , Access to the clamping screw 10.
  • the recess 17 is compared to the embodiment of the Fig. 1 to 3 arranged on the other side. Incidentally, the structure is virtually unchanged.
  • This arrangement has the advantage that the knitting tool holder 7 is tilted away in this case by a yarn path 26 which is shown with dashed lines.
  • the yarn path 26 can be brought closer to the body 2 of the knitting tool bar 1.
  • Fig. 6 shows a Lochnadel charged 7 without clamping device. It can be seen that the socket 7 is constructed symmetrically to a plane between its front side 27 and its rear side 28. If hole needles are worn, you can use the worn hole needles by turning the knitting tool holder 7 again.
  • a recess is provided which serves to reduce the mass. In addition, it can improve alignment because it creates two defined tips 22 that can enter the positioning groove 21.
  • the knitting tool holder 7 holes 31, 32 which can be used as an attack surface for a positioning tool.
  • the body 2 of the active tool bar 1 can have the same cross-section and the same internal structure over its entire length. A weakening of the body 2 by drilling or the like does not take place. Also you do not have to provide any inserts during production. This makes the production relatively easy. There are also favorable mass distributions over the cross section of the knitting tool bar 1. Since the body 2 is not weakened by drilling, no mass increases are necessary to obtain the strength and rigidity of the active tool bar 1. When the body 2 is cured in a mold, no elaborate reworking is required after curing.
  • the attachment of the knitting tool holder 7 to the mounting portion 16 is relatively simple.
  • the knitting tool assembly 4 is initially simply clipped onto the mounting portion 16 and can then be aligned. After alignment, the tightening takes place by means of the clamping screw 10th
