Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a luminaire having a housing and at least one socket for accommodating at least one luminous means, with the features of the preamble of claim 1.
  • the invention relates to an arrangement with at least one such luminaire.
  • Luminaires are used to illuminate rooms and are well known.
  • a luminaire In order to generate light, a luminaire generally has a luminous means, which is usually operated electrically.
  • the light source is received by at least one version of the lamp, which is usually also electrically connected to the light source and so passes an electrical voltage to the light source.
  • the lamp and the socket are also usually arranged in a housing of the lamp.
  • the housing In particular, for the illumination of larger spaces such lights are provided for mounting on a ceiling, wherein the housing then has a arranged on a bottom light exit opening in the rule.
  • the installation on the ceiling in particular means that such lights or the housing of such lights cover a certain, usually essential, surface of the lid or cover.
  • More and more blankets are thermally actively trained or equipped. This means, in particular, that the ceiling is used more frequently, in particular for the air conditioning of the associated room. In this case, a cooled ceiling is used for example for cooling the room. Likewise, a surface heating can be realized over the ceiling. However, an effective use of such ceilings for air conditioning requires that the largest possible surface of the ceiling is uncovered or not covered to a thermal exchange between the ceiling and the associated room or air in the associated room.
  • the present invention is concerned with the problem of providing for a luminaire, which is intended for installation on the ceiling, an improved or at least alternative embodiment, which is characterized in particular by a space-saving mountability, leaving free the largest possible area of the associated ceiling.
  • the present invention is based on the general idea, the housing of a lamp, which is intended for mounting on a ceiling, plate-shaped, wherein a height of the housing is always greater than a width of the housing.
  • the housing of the lamp has in its interior at least one version which serves to receive at least one light source. In the housing so the at least one version is arranged, which can accommodate at least one such light source, wherein the light of the lamp is generated by the respective lighting means. Since the essential parts of the luminaire can be arranged in the housing, the dimensioning of the housing can optionally also be related to the luminaire. This then means that the height of the luminaire is always greater than the width of the luminaire.
  • the height of the housing in the mounted state to the ceiling is vertical, while the width is perpendicular to the height and horizontal.
  • the housing or the lamp also has a length which is perpendicular to the height and perpendicular to the width and horizontal.
  • the luminaire according to the invention thus leads, in the case of a ceiling used for example for cooling a room, to the fact that the cooling is improved by the improved thermal exchange between the ceiling and the associated space or the air in the room.
  • a surface heating ceiling In addition, such a lamp ensures a clear view, so hot so a visual access to the ceiling.
  • the luminaire comprises the housing and the at least one socket.
  • the housing has a side facing away from the ceiling bottom, which limits a receiving chamber of the housing.
  • the respective version is now arranged in the receiving chamber.
  • the underside of the housing has at least one light exit opening. The light thus leaves the housing in particular through the underside of the housing. If the underside has a plurality of such light exit openings, then the respective light exit openings can have different shapes or be shaped identically. The light exit openings can be further arranged or distributed evenly or unevenly on the underside.
  • the height is greater than the width of the lamp or of the housing.
  • the width is e.g. four times larger than the height and thus 16 times larger than the width.
  • this dimensioning of the length is not absolutely necessary.
  • embodiments are conceivable in which the length substantially corresponds to the width. In a horizontal section would thus be seen in this embodiment, a substantially square contour of the then rod-shaped lamp or the then rod-shaped housing.
  • luminous means can be used.
  • a spotlight to a gas discharge lamp, to a fluorescent tube, to a halogen lamp and to light-emitting diodes (LED).
  • the fluorescent tube in each case two versions are necessary for recording.
  • the luminaire can be designed to accommodate such a luminous means or a plurality of such luminous means, wherein the individual luminous means need not necessarily be the same type or size and / or shape.
  • the luminaire can have such a socket or several such sockets, wherein the individual sockets can be the same or different type or different size and / or shape.
