In den Saugraum sind ein oder mehrere Fettfilterelemente (Metallfettfilter) von der Frontseite her schubladenartig einsetzbar. Die
Der Saugraum 9 kann für verschiedene Oberschrankbreiten variabel in der Breite gestaltet werden. So kann der wirksame Ansaugbereich an die Fläche eines darunter angeordneten Kochfeldes optimal angepasst werden. Bei gleicher Ausgestaltung des Gebläseraumes 7 mit der darin angeordneten Gebläseeinheit 2 können somit Dunstabzugshauben unterschiedlicher Breite mit jeweils angepasster Fettfilterfläche gestaltet werden. Je nach Breite des Saugraumes 9 kann die Zahl der Filterelemente 8 variiert werden. Außerdem kann der nicht vom Gebläseraum 7 ausgefüllte Bereich des Oberschrankes optimal als Stauraum 13 für Kochutensilien genutzt werden. Bei dem hier dargestellten Ausführungsbeispiel kommen zwei Filterelemente 8 zum Einsatz, die von der Frontseite her schubladenartig in den Saugraum 9 einschiebbar ausgebildet sind. Die Filterelemente 8 verschließen den Saugraum 9 zur Frontseite in und sind vorzugsweise mit einer nach dem Push/Pull Prinzip ausgebildeten Verriegelungseinrichtung verriegelt.The
Der Wrasenschirm 5 wird bei der Überführung aus der Nichtbetriebsstellung in die Betriebsstellung mittels Führungselement 16 in eine gegenüber der Horizontalen nach unten gekippte Zwischenstellung überführt. In dieser Zwischenstellung wird die vordere Kante des Wrasenschirmes an der Unterseite des Oberschrankes 1 sichtbar. Vorzugsweise wird der Wrasenschirm 5 an dem Führungselement in eine um ca. 4° nach unten gekippte Zwischenstellung gebracht (siehe
