Definitions

  • the invention relates to a system for laying a floor with floor panels of a first panel type and floor panels of a second panel type, each having an upper side with a decor, a first side edge and a side edge opposite the first side edge.
  • a system is for example from the DE 10 2005 002 295 A1 known.
  • the invention also relates to a floor panel and a method of manufacturing such a system.
  • the edge areas in which the panel decors are identically formed in order to meet the edge and connection conditions are kept as small as possible. Between these areas, the decor of panel to panel is designed differently, so striking and disturbing repetition of motifs can be largely avoided.
  • the invention is therefore based on the object to propose a system for laying a floor and a manufacturing method for such, with which the disadvantages of the prior art are eliminated or at least mitigated.
  • the invention solves this problem by a generic system for laying a floor, which is characterized in that in floor panels of the first panel type, the second side edge is chamfered and the first side edge not and that in floor panels of the second panel type, the first side edge is chamfered and not the second side edge.
  • a generic system for laying a floor which is characterized in that in floor panels of the first panel type, the second side edge is chamfered and the first side edge not and that in floor panels of the second panel type, the first side edge is chamfered and not the second side edge.
  • a joint which may be formed for example as a V-joint or L-joint.
  • any other conceivable joint shape is possible.
  • only the provided chamfers in shape, depth and extent need to be adjusted accordingly.
  • the decor of each floor panel has a first edge area in the region of the first side edge and a second edge region opposite the first edge region in the region of the second side edge, wherein the decor of floor panels of the first panel type in the first edge region is adapted to the decor of floor panels of the second panel type in the second edge region such that it continues without offset, when the first side edge of a floor panel of the first panel type abuts the second side edge of a floor panel of the second panel type.
  • a structure is incorporated in the top of each floor panel, wherein the structure of floor panels of the first panel type in the first edge region is adapted to the structure of floor panels of the second panel type in the second edge region such that it continues without offset when the first side edge of a floor panel of the first panel type abuts the second side edge of a floor panel of the second panel type.
  • connecting means are arranged on a first side surface and on a second side surface of each floor panel.
  • the connecting means are designed such that two floor panels can only be connected to one another if they belong to different panel types. In this way, it is ensured that the individual floor panels can be connected to one another only in the desired manner. So it is no longer possible in this embodiment, that a side edge of a Floor panel that has no chamfer is connected to a side edge of another floor panel having a chamfer.
  • the decor of floor panels of the first panel type in the first edge region is identical and otherwise formed differently.
  • the identical formation in the edge region is necessary to ensure a suitable transition to the subsequent panels.
  • the rest of the decor should be formed differently from panel to panel. It is usually sufficient to provide a certain number of different decors, for example, five or ten, so that within a floor while subject repeats may occur, but they are so far apart that they are not noticeable when looking at the floor. This applies even more if, for example, a carpet, a runner or furniture are arranged on the floor. The occurrence of repeated motifs is distracting, the safer the more different decors are provided.
  • the decor of floor panels of the second panel type in the second edge region is identical and otherwise formed differently. Again, the identical training in the edge area is necessary to ensure a safe offset-free transition to the decor of the subsequent floor panel. Otherwise, for the same reasons as for the floor panels of the first panel type, the decor should vary from panel to panel even within the second panel type be formed.
  • each of the decors of a panel type in this case has a unique counterpart among the decors of the other panel type and only in the event that two floor panels of different panel types are laid with matching decors adjacent to each other, a continuous decor is created, which exists between the existing floor panels Laminated optimally.
  • each decor can be provided with a corresponding structure in the top of the floor panels.
  • a marking is arranged on the floor panels of the first panel type and / or the floor panels of the second panel type on at least one location not visible in the laid state of the floor panels.
  • the marking simplifies laying the floor with the given decor distribution.
  • Such a mark can be arranged, for example, on the underside of the floor panels, which is not visible in the installed state.
  • By such a marking matching floor panels can be marked as such. This can be done for example in the form of a numbering, a colored marking or in a similar form.
  • an identifier that identifies matching floor panels as such. This can be for example a numbering, a colored marking or the like.
  • structures, such as grooves or the like may be incorporated in the underside or a side surface of the floor panels, through which the matching floor panels are characterized.
  • the chamfer is formed identically in the second edge region of the floor panel of the first panel type and in the first edge region of the floor panel of the second panel type.
  • both bevels may consist only in a bevel of the side edge or in an L-shaped recess.
  • the structure and shape of the later resulting gap between two adjacent floor panels can be influenced.
  • the floor panels of the different panel types advantageously also have connecting elements on the other side surfaces. This makes it possible to lay the entire floor floating. This is well known in the art. However, in the floor laying system described herein, it is advantageous for the individual floor panels of the different panel types to be laid in a particular orientation as described above.
  • the connecting elements on the remaining side surfaces are consequently to be arranged such that, in the case of panels already connected to the first and second side surfaces, the same connection elements are present on the remaining side surfaces. In a tongue and groove connection, this means that in the case of floor panels which are already connected on their short sides, only grooves or only springs are provided on the long sides. A mixing along a longer side edge of the interconnected panels of grooves and springs is disadvantageous, since this would mean that a staggered laying of the next row of lines would not be possible.
  • a floor panel for a described system comprises two opposite side edges and is characterized in that only one of these two side edges is chamfered.
  • a first side edge preferably forms the transition between an upper side and a first side surface of the floor panel.
  • a second side edge then forms the transition between the top and a second side surface.
  • At the first side surface and at the second side surface are preferably mutually corresponding connecting elements provided to connect two identical floor panels together. It does not matter whether the first side edge and the second side edge are, for example, the long or short side edges of a rectangular panel.
  • a method according to the invention for producing a system described above is characterized in that floor panels of a first panel type and floor panels of a second panel type are produced, wherein a chamfer in floor panels of the first panel type in the second side edge and not in the first side edge and floor panels of the second Panel type is introduced in the first side edge and not in the second side edge.
  • floor panels of the first panel type and the floor panels of the second panel type are produced alternately.
  • Floor panels are usually made of wood-based panels, which are significantly larger than the floor panels to be produced, cut to size.
  • the wood-based panel is printed with a decor or provided in some other way that already includes these decors of the floor panels.
  • the decor of two adjoining laying floor panels can for example also be applied to each other fitting on the wood-based panel. It should be noted, however, that when cutting the wood-based panel to the desired panel size, something is removed from the decor that lies between the two cut-out floor panels. Of course, this area must be taken into account in the decor applied to the wood-based panel.
  • the floor panels are after their production in transport packaging packed up. This advantageously takes place in such a way that floor panels of the first panel type and floor panels of the second panel type are located in each transport packaging. Alternatively, the floor panels of the different panel types may be packaged separately. However, since both floor panels of the first panel type and floor panels of the second panel type are required for optimum laying of the floor, joint packaging of the two panel types in a transport packaging is advantageous in order to ensure for the customer that all required components and floor panels are present. Thus, the error rate is significantly reduced, especially when buying the floor panels or the system for laying the floor.
  • the floor panels of the different panel types are packaged separately, it is possible for a customer to inadvertently buy too many panels of the one panel type or, in the worst case, even panels of the one panel type, so that he can not lay the floor in the desired manner.
  • the floor panels of the first panel type and the floor panels of the second panel type are introduced alternately into the transport packaging and an even number of floor panels in each transport packaging is packed.
  • floor panels of the third panel type as described above, are provided, panels of all three different floor panels are advantageously packed in each transport packaging.
  • FIG. 1 shows at the top of a floor panel of a first panel type 2.
  • first edge area 4 On the right side of this floor panel of the first panel type 2 is the first edge area 4.
  • first edge region 4 At all in the Figures 1 and 2 shown floor panels is the first edge region 4 at the right end of the respective floor panel.
  • second edge region 6 At the opposite left end of the floor panel 2 is the second edge region 6.
  • the extension of the two edge regions 4, 6 is in the Figures 1 and 2 indicated by horizontal dashes. It can be seen that both the first edge region 4 and the second edge region 6 are very small in comparison to the extent of the floor panel 2.
  • At the right end of the first edge region 4 is the first side edge 8. At the left end of the second edge region 6 is the second side edge 10.
  • FIG. 1 a floor panel according to a second panel type 12 is shown below the floor panel of a first panel type 2 is in FIG. 1 .
  • This also has a first edge region 4 and a second edge region 6 and a first side edge 8 and a second side edge 10.
  • the floor panel of a first panel type 2 is located on the second side edge 10 is a chamfer 14.
  • This is arranged in the floor panel of a second panel type 12 in the first edge region 4.
  • An in FIG. 1 Also not shown floor panel of a third panel type would also have a first edge portion 4, a second edge portion 6 with a first side edge 8 and a second side edge 10, but does not have a chamfer 14th
  • the floor panel of the first panel type 2 has design elements, such as a decor and / or a structure introduced into the top of the floor panel, which are matched to the design elements located in the second edge region 6 of the floor panel of the second panel type 12 are. If now two panels, one of which belongs to the first panel type 2 and one to the second panel type 12, are laid adjacent to one another, the design elements, ie the decor and / or the structure, run without offset via the resulting abutting edge 16.
  • FIG. 2 shows a floor composed of the floor panels of a first panel type 2 and the floor panels of a second panel type 12.
  • FIG. 2 shows a floor composed of the floor panels of a first panel type 2 and the floor panels of a second panel type 12.
  • FIG. 2 One recognizes in FIG. 2 in that the individual floor panels of the different panel types 2, 12 are always laid in the orientation in which they are in FIG. 1 are shown. Each of the floor panels consequently has at its right end a first edge area 4 and at its left end a second edge area 6. At the junctions of two adjacent panels, the desired effects now occur FIG. 2 are shown. If a floor panel of a first panel type 2 is located to the left of a floor panel of a second panel type 12, a first edge area 4 of the floor panel of the first panel type 2 and the second edge area 6 of the floor panel of the second panel type 12 meet here. None of these edge regions 4, 6 has a chamfer 14, so that the two side edges 8, 10 meet directly here.
  • the decors are chosen so that it comes to a seamless and offset-free transition of the decor from one floor panel two to the second floor panel 12. A gap actually existing between these two panels is concealed and barely visible at all.
  • the floor panel of the second panel type 12 is located to the left of the floor panel of the first panel type 2, the first edge area 4 of the floor panel of the second panel type 12 and the second edge area 6 of the floor panel of the first panel type 2 meet. As in FIG. 1 can be clearly seen, these two edge regions 4, 12 each have a chamfer 14. These are now directly adjacent to each other, so here is a joint, which may be formed, for example, as a V or L-joint or as an irregular grooved joint, forms. This principle runs through the whole in FIG. 2 shown floor.
  • the flooring shown gives the impression that it consists, for example, of real wood planks that are twice as long as the panels actually used.
  • FIG. 2 are two abutting edges 16 provided with a reference numeral.
  • the first is in the topmost laid row of panels and denotes an abutment edge 16 at which a first side edge 8 of a floor panel of the first panel type 2 abuts a second side edge 10 of the floor panel of the second panel type 12.
  • the design elements which are provided on the upper side of the two panels 2, 12 extend without offset, since, as already explained, they are matched to one another in this form.
  • the second provided with reference numerals abutment edge 16 is located in the bottommost laid panel row and shows exactly the reverse constellation.
  • a first side edge 8 of a floor panel of the second panel type 12 abuts the second side edge 10 of a floor panel of the first panel type 2.
  • formed by the two provided on the respective side edges 8, 10 bevels 14 at the described abutting edge 16 a gap.
