Description

The present invention relates to a rotatable attachment for a hair styling device for shaping hair, in particular for curling or wave formation, according to the preamble of claim 1. The invention also relates to a hair styling device equipped with such a rotatable attachment.

From the WO 2008/028941 A2 a generic rotatable attachment for a hair styling device is known, which has a total of four finger-like extensions for winding the hair to be formed, said extensions define a running between them strand guide channel and have rounded hair contact surfaces. The rotatable attachment is attachable to a hair shaping device and driven by this. With the said hair styling device, in particular the high loads and dangers occurring when using hair curlers known from the prior art should be avoided.

A disadvantage of known from the prior art hair styling devices and rotatable attachments, however, is that care must be taken that the strands of hair must be rolled in a preferred direction, otherwise there may be pointy crease-like structures that adversely affect the subsequent Frisierergebnis. There is thus a defined direction of rotation, so that for changing between standing or falling curls and for changing the head side always a cumbersome and laborious grasping and repositioning of the hair shaping device is required. Furthermore, care must be taken in the known from the prior art essay that the hair strands are threaded within the essay in the correct strand guide channel, otherwise it can also lead to a negative impact on the overall result of the hairstyle.

The present invention therefore deals with the problem of providing a rotary attachment or a hair styling device of the generic type, an improved or at least one alternative embodiment, which is characterized in particular by a significantly simplified handling.

This problem is solved according to the invention by the subject matters of the independent claims. Advantageous embodiments are the subject of the dependent claims.

The present invention is based on the general idea, a rotatable attachment for a hair styling device for shaping hair, especially for curling or wave formation, such that this the desired curls or waves independent of direction of rotation, that is, right- or left-handed, in the same quality generated, so that, for example, standing or falling curls can be generated without a conversion of the article in the hair by only a reversal of direction. For this purpose, the rotatable attachment according to the invention has at least two finger-like extensions for winding up the hair to be formed, said extensions defining a strand guide channel extending therebetween and at the same time having rounded hair contact surfaces. According to the invention, at least these hair contact surfaces of the projections are designed such that when hair strands are inserted it is possible to introduce curls or waves independently of the direction of rotation of the attachment, without kinks occurring in the hair. In the articles known from the prior art, reversing the rotation of the attachment due to unsuitable, that is to say in particular small, radii on the hair contact surfaces leads to the introduction of kink-like structures into the hair to be curled or waved, as a result of which the overall hairdressing result is adversely affected becomes. By contrast, with the attachment according to the invention, it is possible to roll up the threaded hair strands either right-handed or anti-clockwise, whereby the direction of rotation of the attachment is achieved by having radii on both sides of the ends of the strand guide channel which, during the course of the hairstyling process (for example rolling up) , heating, cooling and unwinding, do not lead to damage to the hair, in particular by extreme geometric stress. With the article according to the invention, the handling and use of a hair-shaping device, for example a curling iron, is thus considerably simplified, since both standing and falling curls can be produced without difficulty by simply reversing the direction of rotation of the article. With the article according to the invention it is surprisingly possible, only by a geometrical adaptation of the radii of the hair contact surfaces form the attachment in such a way that it can be used independently of the direction of rotation.

In an advantageous development of the solution according to the invention, at least one of the projections is designed to be heatable and / or coolable. Heating of at least one of the extensions can be effected, for example, by a heating element arranged in the respective extension, for example a Peltier element, or by passing hot air through the extension, the extension in this case having a channel-like inner structure which has a multiplicity of from small outlet openings allows a discharge of hot air to the hair and thereby favors the curl forming process. Of course, it is also conceivable that the at least one extension is designed to be coolable, wherein the cooling can in turn be effected for example by means of a Peltier element, or by passing cool air through the channel-like structure. The cooling can thus be effected, for example, by a cold (for example room temperature) air flow or else optionally by other gaseous or liquid media, in which case, for example, a reservoir and / or supply lines would be required. The invention is further based on the general idea of equipping a hair styling device known per se, for example a curling iron, with such an article according to the invention, it being understood that very different attachments can be combined with the hair styling device. The hair styling device also has a handle for holding the same and preferably a motorized rotary drive for the attachment. It is conceivable, in particular, to offer such a hair shaping device in a set which comprises a plurality of differently designed attachments, as well as the actual hair styling device.
