Claims (7)

  1. Hair styling device (10), in particular for curling or waving, with a first moulded part (1a) and a second moulded part (1b) for winding and shaping hair (4), which are permanently connected to each other at one end so that they cannot move in relation to one another and which run at a distance from one another, wherein the first moulded part (1a) and the second moulded part (1b) each have an oval cross-section differing from the shape of a circle,

    the hair styling device (10) has axial symmetry along a short semi-axis (b) of the sleeve (3) and/or along a long semi-axis (a) of the sleeve (3), and
    the hair styling device (10) is a hair styling device which can be used regardless of direction.
  2. Hair styling device according to claim 1, wherein
    the first moulded part (1a) and the second moulded part (1b) can be heated to shape the hair (4).
  3. Hair styling device according to one of the preceding claims, wherein
    the long semi-axis (a) of the sleeve (3) and the short semi-axis (b) of the sleeve (3) have a ratio of 5 to 4, preferably of 2 to 1.
  4. Hair styling device according to one of the preceding claims 3, wherein
    the long semi-axis (a) has a length ranging between 3.5 cm and 4.5 cm inclusive, preferably 4 cm.
