Definitions
- the invention relates to a steam extraction system for household and / or industrial equipment according to the preamble of claim 1, each equipped with such a steam extraction steam station and steam ironing station, and a valve unit for such a steam extraction system, wherein the steam extraction system is connectable to a vapor pressure vessel, and two parallel Having flow channels for removing steam from the vapor pressure vessel.
- Steam extraction systems for domestic and industrial appliances are used, for example, in steam ironing stations. They are arranged in principle between a vapor pressure vessel and a consumer or an iron and should provide a demand-based steam rate.
- a vapor extraction system is shown, for example, in European Patent EP 0 423 540 B2.
- This known steam extraction system has an extraction line connected to a pressure vessel, which opens into two throughflowable parallel outlet channels.
- a valve is arranged in each of the outlet areas, with only steam being able to flow out via the downstream valve when the upstream valve is open.
- a particular disadvantage of this solution is that in the event of a defect in the upstream valve, both outlet channels are blocked and thus no steam can be taken from the pressure accumulator.
- An inventive steam extraction system for household and / or industrial equipment can be connected to a vapor pressure vessel and has two parallel flow channels for the removal of steam from the vapor pressure vessel.
- a double-acting valve unit is provided for opening and closing the flow channels.
- Such a solution is relatively susceptible to interference and is characterized by low production costs.
- the solution according to the invention is compact in comparison with known vapor extraction systems with two parallel valves.
- the flow channels can have the same size or different opening cross-sections. In particular, when using different opening cross-sections, it is possible to increase the vapor rate almost leaps and thus shock-like or pulse-like during a short period of time.
- the opening cross sections of the flow channels can be identical and have the valve unit per se different opening cross-sections.
- the valve unit is particularly compact and control technology easily executable when the one flow channel only in combination with the other flow channel up or is zuu Kunststoffbar and preferably no variable opening cross-sections are adjustable.
- the flow channels are arranged in a line section of a withdrawal line and the valve unit has two individually controllable valves.
- the valve unit is formed by a single directional valve, such as an electrically operable 4/3-way valve with 4 ports and 3 switch positions.
- the directional control valve has, for example, a valve body for opening and closing the flow channels, which is spring-biased into a first switching position or rest or closed position and can be transferred via an electrical control signal into a second and third switching or opening position.
- This variant is characterized by a particularly simple control, since only one control signal for actuating the valve unit and thus for opening and controlling the flow channels is necessary.
- a vapor extraction system is very cost-effective, since it is operated with simplified control electronics and with a reduced number of valves.
- a steam station according to the invention in particular a steam ironing station, has a steam extraction system which is arranged between a steam pressure container and a steam outlet nozzle comprising consumers, in particular an iron or steam cleaner. It has two parallel flow channels for steam extraction, the invention on a double-acting valve unit and are zuu Kunststoffbar. Such a steam station is prone to interference, compact and inexpensive.
- a valve unit according to the invention in particular for a steam extraction system of a steam ironing station, has two valves for opening or controlling a respective flow channel.
- the flow channels are integrated in a line section of a fluid line.
- different fluid rates for example a vapor pressure vessel, can thereby be withdrawn via the fluid line.
- the valve unit according to the invention is very compact executable and in particular also be integrated into existing steam extraction systems, since the fluid line can be used by the integral formation of the flow channels in a common extraction line without technically complex work.
- the present invention is particularly useful for reliably providing pulsatile bursts of steam in steam ironing or steam cleaning equipment.
- Fig. 1 shows a basic structure of a vapor extraction system according to the invention
- Fig. 1 shows a vapor extraction system 2 according to the invention, for example for use in an ironing station, which can be arranged between a pressure vessel 4 for the storage of steam and a consumer such as iron (not shown). It has a removal line 6 extending away from the pressure accumulator 4 for taking out the steam, with two parallel flow channels 8, 10 which are brought together or steerable via a valve unit 12 and brought together again downstream.
- the valve unit 12 has two individual valves 14, 16, which are each assigned to a flow channel 8, 10 and whose structure and mode of operation is explained in more detail in FIG.
- the removal line 6 is formed by a tubular body 18 which delimits an interior space 20 with a flow cross-section Q1.
- a plate-like partition wall 24 is provided to form the two parallel flow channels 8, 10.
- the two flow channels 8, 10 each have an equally large semicircular opening tion cross section Q2, Q3, which define the total or almost the flow area Q1.
- valves 14, 16 or the valve unit 12 are arranged in the region of the dividing wall 24 of the tubular body 18. These each have a valve body 26, 28, which is guided through a transverse bore 30, 32 in the tubular body 18 and by means of which the flow channels 8, 10 up or are zuu Kunststoffbar.
- the valve bodies 14, 16 are preferably spring-biased into their first switching position or rest or closed position and can be transferred via an electrical control signal into a second switching position or open position.
- FIG. 2 shows the first operating mode in which the valve bodies 26, 28 of the valves 14, 16 are in their spring-biased rest position and both flow channels 8, 10 are controlled, so that the Pressure vessel 4 no steam can be removed.
- This controlled operating mode is illustrated by the end faces on opposite surface portions 34, 36 of the partition wall 24 valve bodies 26, 28.
- the left-hand valve 14 is actuated in such a way that its valve body 26 is returned from its rest position and brought into its open position, so that the left-hand flow channel 8 is opened over its entire cross-section Q 2.
- the right as shown flow channel 10 is still closed.
- steam is taken from the pressure vessel 4 only via the cross section Q2 of the flow channel 8.
- FIG. 3 shows the third operating mode in which the valve bodies 26, 28 of the valves 14, 16 are in their spring-biased rest position and both flow channels 8, 10 are controlled, so that the Pressure vessel 4 no steam can be removed.
- This controlled operating mode is illustrated by the end faces on opposite surface portions 34, 36 of the partition wall 24 valve bodies 26, 28.
- both valves 14, 16 are actuated such that their valve bodies 26, 28 are in their open position and thus the flow channels 8, 10 or both cross sections Q2, Q3 are completely opened, so that the maximum steam rate the pressure vessel 4 can be removed, since now the pressure accumulator 4 steam can be removed over the entire flow cross-section Q1 of the extraction line 6.
- a steam extraction system 2 for household and industrial equipment which is connectable to a vapor pressure vessel 4, and two parallel flow channels 8, 10 for removing steam from the vapor pressure vessel 4, which by a double-acting valve unit 12 are on and zuu Kunststoffbar, a steam station with such a steam extraction system 2 and a valve unit 12 for steam extraction.
