- the recoil of the pressurized cleaning fluid discharged via the cleaning nozzles 154, 156 drives the nozzle head 12 along the gutter 20 in the feed direction 162.
- the nozzle head 12 slides by means of its skids 168, 170 along the bottom of the gutter 20 along.
- the nozzle head 12 due to its frontal recess 180 and 172, 174 easily overcome due to the frontal ramps. If the nozzle head 12 reaches the end of the gutter 20 opposite the end wall 24, not shown in FIG. 1, it can then be retracted again by the user via the pressure hose 16, wherein cleaning fluid under further pressure is released via the cleaning nozzles 154, 156. As a result, the dissolved dirt in the form of a dirty liquor is pushed in front of the nozzle head 12, which now moves counter to the feed direction 162, until the dirty liquor reaches a downpipe, not shown in the drawing, via which the dirty liquor can be disposed of. If heavily soiled, the nozzle head 12 can be reciprocated several times over the same area of the gutter 20 to thereby effect thorough cleaning of the gutter 20.
