Definitions

  • the invention relates to a dishwasher, in particular household dishwasher, according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • Dishwashers have screen systems with which dirt particles are filtered out of the circulating in a hydraulic circuit of the dishwasher rinse liquid.
  • the sieve systems are usually multi-level and consist of a surface fine sieve, a coarse sieve and possibly a micro sieve. According to their designation, these sieves can filter dirt particles of different sizes out of the rinsing liquid.
  • a dishwasher known in the hydraulic circuit rinsing liquid is circulated, which is collected in a bottom-side sump, which is connected to the suction side of the circulation pump.
  • the washing chamber facing the open side of the pump pot is covered by a surface sieve which tapers in a funnel-shaped, approximately centrally disposed hollow cylindrical Grobsieb. This passes below the surface sieve in a likewise hollow cylindrical microsieve, which is surrounded by a pot wall of the sump at a distance.
  • the sieve system consisting of the flat sieve, the coarse sieve and the micro sieve becomes dirty over time, which means that the flat sieve, the coarse sieve and / or the micro sieve can become clogged with food residues or other settling particles. Due to added screen surfaces, the rinsing result is impaired, above all because of the back soiling and the reduced screening performance. Although it can sometimes be provided on the lower spray arm below the dish rack already nozzles, which are directed to the underlying flat screen. However, this also does not achieve complete flushing of the flat screen.
  • a dishwasher with recirculated rinse water by a circulating pump from a sump of the wash chamber is sucked, a suction opening covering the screen and opening into the sump openings for the flushing water drain and the fresh water inlet known.
  • a dishwashing machine comprising a washing tub equipped with a recirculation filter arranged in a flow path of the water to be sucked by a circulating pump adapted to feed at least one rotating spraying device located above the Filter is arranged, the latter consisting of a substantially flat portion which is formed with an opening which connects the interior of the washing tub directly to the suction of a drain pump, as well as a substantially cylindrical portion which surrounds said opening and from the plane Section extends downwards.
  • the impellers of the circulation and the discharge pump are mounted on a reversible drive shaft to pump the water alternately to the correct outlet when said drive shaft is actuated in a first and a second direction of rotation.
  • a water pipe of calibrated cross-section extending up to one end from the pressure chamber of the circulation pump adjoins the said filter and is suitable, in the direction of the suction of the drain pump, a jet of water through this filter and in countercurrent to said water flow path to steer when said drive shaft is actuated in said second direction of rotation to perform a discharge phase.
  • An object of the invention is to provide a dishwashing machine, in particular a household dishwasher, in which the screening capacity of the screen combination used in the dishwasher is not impaired even in continuous use.
  • the invention is based on the finding that dirt particles of a certain size and composition, such as caraway or the like, can not be removed from the sieve surface by applying the sieve surface of the flat sieve by means of spray nozzles, which are provided on the lower spray arm on the underside, but rather more pressed into the screen openings and thus solidify in it.
  • at least one cleaning device is provided according to the invention within the pump pot with which the sieve element can be cleaned. The cleaning of the screen element is thus not carried out on the sieve surface added with food residues, but rather on the side of the screen element facing away therefrom, whereby the screen element can be flushed free against the direction of flow in the flushing operation.
  • the sump of a dishwasher may preferably have a sieve combination with the above-mentioned surface sieve, a coarse sieve and a microsieve.
  • the surface sieve can cover the side of the sump which is open towards the washing compartment and can run in a funnel shape onto the hollow cylindrical coarse sieve, which is inserted approximately in the center of the sieve.
  • the coarse sieve can be extended below the surface sieve with the likewise hollow cylindrical microsieve.
  • the coarse screen is used for filtering larger dirt particles, while the fine and micro sieve is used to filter off in the rinsing liquid finely dispersed dirt particles.
  • the cleaning device according to the invention is spatially separated from the washing space by means of the surface sieve in the sump.
  • the cleaning device can therefore on the one hand ablate filter residues of the surface sieve on its underside facing away from the sieve surface, while the cleaning device can optionally additionally clean the microsieve disposed within the pump well.
  • the cleaning device can be arranged radially outside the hollow cylindrical microsieve or alternatively also radially inside the microsieve and, in this case, clean the liquid exit side of the microsieve facing away from the sieve surface.
  • the cleaning device has at least one spray nozzle, in particular a plurality of spray nozzles, which can act on the screen element mechanically by means of liquid jets.
  • spray nozzles are connected in a simple manner via at least one connecting line with the actual hydraulic circuit of the dishwasher.
  • one or more supply lines can lead from the circulation pump to the spray units arranged in the spray, that is, in particular to a arranged below the upper dish rack upper spray arm or arranged below a lower dish rack lower spray arm. From there, the rinsing liquid is sprayed onto the dishes arranged in the washing compartment. Subsequently, the rinsing liquid collects again in the sump, which is connected to the suction side of the circulation pump.
  • the cleaning device has at least one distributor pipe with a series of spray nozzles, which is connected via the connecting line to the above-described hydraulic circuit of the dishwasher.
  • the rinsing fluid circulated in the hydraulic circuit can be used at least partially in the screen cleaning according to the invention.
