Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a training device for martial arts or combat systems, in particular designed for Wing Chun Kuen or Wing Tsun, according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • Wing Tsun, Wing Chun or Wing Chun Kuen is a combat system in the broadest sense of the word, a martial art of Chinese origin. Subsequently, the phrase wing chun is used, with Wing Chun includes all possible spellings of martial arts.
  • the Wing Chun system is a so-called soft combat system and is based on the principle "softness prevails over hardness”.
  • Wing Chun system is based on mathematical considerations and body geometric aspects of humans.
  • the Wing Chun system was designed with the inclusion of deflecting and deflecting forces and geometrical aspects of the shortest path to perform the movements.
  • Wing Chun system The resulting techniques of Wing Chun system are highly efficient and too dangerous to be used in sports, such as at championships. Therefore, it is not a martial arts in the traditional sense.
  • Wing Chun which is not the killing or blocking of the enemy attack, that is, the own physical strength of the opponent's face, is based much more on receiving and redirecting the opposing forces.
  • the Wing Chun practitioner does not stand in the direction of the impact force acting on him but lets his body turn away from the direction of impact by the opposing forces.
  • the counter-attack is started, which contains the power of your own arm plus the power of the rotation.
  • the Wing Chun system is based on the fact that it is not necessary to have the same or even more power than its counterpart in order to defend itself efficiently.
  • the Wing Chun system is based on sensing the opponent's powers and summing them up with their own powers. It is not designed to be trumped by physical superiority or even win by knocking off or blocking the generic attack. Victory will be the one who has learned the techniques cleaner and can implement accordingly. It is therefore not surprising that any person who controls this combat system can successfully compete against any physically strong opponent.
  • all techniques are over centuries It has been developed under the aspect that always the shortest path of the executed movements is the most efficient and under the consideration of the strength of the opponent.
  • the individual techniques that is to say movements, combine to form a logical closed circuit. No techniques may be added, omitted or changed.
  • the Wing Chun system is based on a purely logical and systematic structure and the development is completely completed in terms of the motor skills of today's man. It's the mathematics of martial arts.
  • the Wing Chun fighter learns in the course of his training a variety of different forms, which are a sequence of techniques. Usually, these forms are trained in the form of partner training because the back pressure of the training partner is needed to perform the techniques. In doing so, movement patterns are repeated again and again. However, this type of training requires that the aspiring Wing Chun fighter have a training partner.
  • the wooden advanced training device includes a vertical solid pole from which elongated elements stand out, symbolizing legs or arms.
  • a training device is known as "wooden doll” or in Chinese as “Muk Yan Jong".
  • this exerciser has the disadvantage that it is only suitable for advanced users, which includes several years of intensive training and for curing, which serves with a partner learned techniques. Can not be used until the advanced level is reached, since the ability to absorb and redirect is not yet sufficiently learned. That's why it's important to first have these skills with a partner to learn.
  • the physical wear during training on the wooden dummy is not to be underestimated and can lead to physical problems such as fractures or other fatigue in beginners.
  • Wing Chun Kuen The basic philosophy or tactics of Wing Chun Kuen is such that combat body parts, such as the arm or leg of an opponent are intercepted, by contacting the arms or legs of the opponent, the acting forces can be felt, absorbed and in a turning away, which brings your own body from the direction of impact, be redirected. By turning away your own body from the direction of impact is further released a blow path on the body of the opponent.
  • the absorbed power of the opponent which has been converted into a torque, is converted and forwarded at the same moment in an attack power in the form of a punch or kick. This results in defensive and attack techniques that involve the power of the opponent and at the same time his own strength.
  • a training device which comprises sprung elongated elements. These elements provide arms and legs. Due to the spring arrangement, the forces acting on the exerciser are damped, so that the risk of injuries is smaller. At the same time, the spring provides a restoring force or reaction force under pressure from the exerciser, so that the user has a similar feeling as when training with a real training partner.
  • the training devices of the prior art in particular that of the DE 295 17 202 , but have the disadvantage that they can not be adapted to the needs of the Wing Chun system, because the arms and legs are not or in only one axis adjustable and also their number is not sufficient to represent all possible attack scenarios. As such, the Wing Chun system user is unable to perform effective and efficient Wing Chun training. Thus, the DE 295 17 202 the trainees are unable to train the above-described Wing Chun-specific tactics or philosophy. Consequently, these devices do not meet the requirement of the Wing Chun system. ,
  • the invention has for its object to provide a Wing Chun training device, which overcomes the disadvantages of the devices of the prior art.

These are grouped into eight units or eight levels, thus achieving a continuous build-up of empathy and redirection of forces. At the end there is a big final form, which brings together the learned from the eight levels.
  • Each technique and combination requires different arrangements of the rod elements 2 of the device according to the invention.
  • the position of the rod elements 2 is defined as a function of the technique or combination to be trained, and in other words, it can be said that each training technique or combination is associated with a predetermined arrangement of the rod elements.
  • the training method should allow the user to ensure a seamless transition to the wooden dummy after completion of the training.
  • the step of determining the arrangement preferably takes place in accordance with a representation in a teaching medium, such as a book and / or a DVD.
