Description

The invention relates to a modular flush-mounted system consisting of a mixing module which can be connected to inflow lines for cold and hot water and has electronically controllable temperature and volume control unit and at least one separate and connected via a supply line to the mixing module, for the passage of the mixed water and / or the connection of a sanitary fitting installed flush-mounted module, wherein the mixing module comprises a to be connected to the inlet lines and cooperating with the temperature and volume control unit water distribution arrangement with two water inputs and connected to an external power source electronic control module and an operating unit is provided.

A flush-mounted system with the aforementioned generic features is known from EP 0 088 736 A known. The system described herein comprises a flush-mounted mixing module for the cold water and hot water supplied to this module by the home-side supply system, a second flush-mounted module having a water outlet being separately arranged and connected to the mixing module via a supply line; a third flush-mounted module with an operating unit arranged thereon is in turn connected to the second Flush-mounted module connected, so that the water outlet via the control unit is controllable. In the central mixing module, a temperature and volume control unit for the water outlet to be supplied mixed water is arranged, which has a connected to the cold water inlet and the hot water supply water distribution arrangement in the form of two separately arranged supply strips. The supply strips are connected via intermediate, electrically operated valves with a mixed water receiving line block or more, parallel to each other arranged line blocks, for example, which is connected to the water outlet having module leading supply line to one of these line blocks. The valves are controlled via a control module connected to an external power source.

The known flush-mounted system initially has the disadvantage that the control unit required for controlling the mixing module is arranged outside the mixing module; This is associated with a corresponding construction and installation effort. Another disadvantage is that the mixing module is complicated with the supply strips, a plurality of central line blocks and a plurality of electrical valves and also requires a corresponding space.

A similarly constructed flush-mounted system results from the EP 0 195 271 A , In this case, a central mixing unit is connected via correspondingly arranged supply lines with a plurality of further modules each having a water outlet, wherein a central operating unit and / or decentralized, each individual module associated control units are provided. In the housing of the mixing module, a central, motor-controlled temperature control unit is arranged, which is connected in each case via a plurality of electrically operated valves with each of the leading to the connected modules leads. Again, the disadvantage of an external control unit and the corresponding size of the mixing module is connected.

Another system of different, connected to a central mixing module water outlet modules such as bathtub, bidet or vanity is in the WO 2007/096771 A1 described. Here, each water outlet module is assigned its own control unit and arranged in connection with the water outlet module. The central mixing module comprises the arrangement of a plurality of individual pipe joints and associated, paired valve means to produce the mixed water to be fed into each of the outgoing feeders.

The invention has for its object to improve a flush-mounted system with the generic features such that the mixing module has a compact, the control unit comprehensive design and the associated items of the mixing module are easy to arrange or to assemble.

The solution to this problem arises from the claim 1; advantageous embodiments and modifications of the invention are specified in the dependent claims.

In detail, the invention provides that the units necessary for the function of the mixing module, namely the motor-adjustable temperature and volume control unit, a water distribution element forming the water distribution arrangement, a distributor module connected on the one hand to the temperature and volume control unit and on the other hand to the control unit the control module connected to the distribution block are arranged together in a concealed installation box and the control unit is formed on a flush mounting box lid and connected via a cable connection to the manifold block, wherein the water distribution element formed between two water inputs and two water outlets, a mechanically actuated Shut off valve and a downstream muffler having waterways and with a between a mixed water inlet and at least one mixed water outlet extending waterway is formed and the temperature and volume control unit connected to the water outlets and the mixed water inlet of the water distribution element and a mixed water outlet of the water distribution element via the lead to the outside of the flush-mounted box supply line to the flush-mounted module is connected, and wherein the manifold component can be connected via a trained on the concealed installation box cable gland with the outside of the flush-mounting box arranged power source.

Hereby, the invention provides a set up for receiving the mixing unit flush-mounted box, wherein the control unit is advantageously arranged on the lid of the flush-mounting box. At the same time forms an important part of the invention, the core of the central mixing module constituting electronically controllable temperature and volume control unit, which is also arranged for the first time in a flush-mounted kit. For this purpose, the temperature and volume control unit is combined with a water distribution element, which is interposed between the house-side inflow lines and the temperature and volume control unit. The water distribution element serves to receive shut-off valves and water silencers in the cold and warm water paths formed separately in the water distribution element. The mechanical shut-off valves serve only maintenance purposes when the electronically controlled temperature and volume control unit has to be maintained or replaced. The water silencers, which are likewise arranged in the assigned water paths of the water distribution element, are connected upstream of the temperature and volume control unit and thus fulfill their function before the entry of the cold or warm water into the temperature and volume control unit. It goes without saying that the supply line to the flush-mounted module lying outside the flush-mounted installation box of the mixing unit is connected to a mixed water outlet. The modular system intended for the formation of the mixing module
is completed by an electronic control module and the power supply of the mixing module serving manifold module, which in turn is connected to a lying outside of the mixing module power source and via which the power supply of the temperature and volume control unit driving motor and the controller integrated into the control module takes place.

According to one embodiment of the invention it is provided that the water distribution element four externally accessible connecting pieces for inserting a respective shut-off valve and a silencer in the running in the interior of the water distribution element between the respective water inlet and the associated water outlet, separate waterways for the cold and the warm Has water.

For reasons of a simple assembly of the mixing module can be provided according to an embodiment of the invention that the connection of the water distribution element to the building supply lines and the connection between the water distribution element and the temperature and volume control unit are each formed as sealed connectors, so that the water distribution element and the Temperature and volume control unit only one hand plugged into the box and on the other hand must be put together.

To control and monitor the temperature and volume control unit is provided according to an embodiment of the invention that in the hot water supply for the temperature and volume control unit and in the mixed water each a line connected to the electronic control module sensor is turned on.

The assembly of the mixing unit is further simplified if, according to an embodiment of the invention, the electronic control module and the distributor module can be connected to one another via an electrical plug connection.

As far as a control of emerging from the mixed water outlet mixed water flow to be arranged on one or more connected concealed modules sanitary fittings should be provided according to an embodiment of the invention that the individual modules solenoid valves for the corresponding control of the mixed water paths are arranged, wherein the manifold module a
along the temperature and volume control unit with the at least one further module connecting supply line and arranged in the module arranged to control the mixed water flow solenoid valve leading power supply and control line is connected. This can be done via the control unit for controlling the temperature and volume control unit also control the individual connected modules associated fittings, transmitted via the corresponding control lines and information about the respective functional position of the solenoid valve to the control module and transmitted from here, for example, to the control unit and can be identified there.

With regard to a correspondingly good control, provision can furthermore be made for the power supply line connected to the distributor module to comprise an additional data line which can be connected to the electronic control components via the plug connection formed between the distributor component and the control component; This then also gives the possibility to process both control commands as well as corresponding status messages via an associated data processing.

Fig. 2
belonging to the installation system mixing module in a single view with an exploded perspective view of its individual components.

At the in FIG. 1 schematically shown installation system, a mixing module 10 is provided which has distributed over its circumference four outputs 11 for the mixing water provided in the mixing module. At each of the outputs 11, a further flush-mounted module 12 is first connected, wherein the connection to be used in detail, in their length arbitrarily cut-length pipe sections are not shown. Two further flush-mounted modules 12 are connected in series to one of the four flush-mounted modules 12. In this case, the flush-mounted modules 12 each have a mixing water inlet 13 formed thereon, while four mixing water outlets 14 are formed on each flush-mounted module 12 in the illustrated embodiment. As far as mixed water inlet 13 and mixed water outlets 14 are arranged in a plane parallel to a building wall or an installation wall level, functional connections 15a and 15b are formed on each base module 12 perpendicular to this level for fitting sanitary fittings. As far as such a flush-mounted module 12 is only needed for the passage or diversion of mixed water, the function terminals 15a, 15b are closed. The same applies to the mixed water outlets 14, which are not needed depending on the design of the installation system for forwarding mixed water.

The mixing module 10, which forms an essential part of the installation system, has a structural design FIG. 2 can be seen, wherein in the embodiment of the invention illustrated therein in a modification of the in FIG. 1 shown embodiment, only two mixed water outlets 11 are formed for connection of further flush-mounted modules.

The necessary for the function of the mixing module 10 units are arranged in a flush-mounting box 40, which is provided at its outer periphery with eyelets 41 for attachment of the mounting box, for example on a wall. The installation box 40 is in his Bottom area closed by means of a bottom cap 35, are formed in the ducts 36 for the wall-side inflow lines for the cold and warm water. Inside the installation box, a water distribution element 50 with a water inlet 16 for cold water and a water inlet 17 for hot water in the context of a sealing plug connection can be mounted on the wall-side inflow lines. In the water distribution element 50 are separated from one another, the water inlet 16 for cold water or the water inlet 17 for hot water with a water outlet 18 for the cold water or a water outlet 19 for the warm water connecting waterways formed, in each of these waterways a check valve and a downstream water muffler are used. For this purpose, the water distribution element 50 is provided with a total of four externally accessible connecting pieces, with two connecting pieces 20 for receiving a shut-off valve and with two connecting pieces 21 for receiving a water silencer. In each case, first of all a connection piece 20 with a shut-off valve inserted therein is connected downstream of the associated water inlet 16 or 17. The shut-off valve is mechanically operated and serves essentially to shut off the flow of water into the water distribution element 50 and downstream components when maintenance or repair of the mixing module 10 is required. In the respective connection path downstream of the shut-off valve, a water muffler is arranged, which can be inserted into the water distribution element 50 via the associated connection piece 21, wherein the connection piece 21 is correspondingly closed after insertion of the water muffler. Thus flows through the water inlet 16 or 17 in the water distribution element 50 incoming cold or warm water first the associated shut-off valve and then the water silencer before the cold or warm water through the water outlet 18 and water outlet 19 of the water distribution element 50 exits therefrom.

Accordingly, a temperature and volume control unit 22 is connected with their not shown inputs for the cold and hot water to the water outlets 18 and 19 of the water distribution element 50, again in the context of a known sealing plug connection. In the temperature and volume control unit 22 takes place a mixture of cold and warm water at the desired temperature with adjustment of the desired mixed water flow, via the control or actuation of corresponding electric motors, the formation of the temperature and volume control unit 22 in detail not subject matter of the present invention. The mixed water generated in the temperature and volume control unit 22 enters the water distribution element 50 via a mixed water inlet 23 located at the water distribution element 50 and flows from here via a water path formed in the interior of the water distribution element 50 to the two formed on the water distribution element 50 in the present embodiment Outlets 11 for the mixed water. If only one exit 11 is required, then the other exit 11 is closed accordingly. However, it is also possible for more than two outlets 11 to be formed on the water distribution element 15. With these outputs 11 are accordingly to the FIG. 1 given explanation connected to the mixing module 10 flush-mounted modules 12 connected.
In the installation box 40, a control module 24 is also used, which is provided in particular for controlling the motor-driven adjustable temperature and volume control unit 22. In this respect, a plurality of cable connections 25 are indicated on the control module 24, which are arranged to the temperature and volume control unit 22 motors or in the hot water supply for the temperature and volume control unit 22 and in the mixed water (11) or mixed water inlet 23) used sensors, by means of which a monitoring of the mixing production takes place.

The structure of the functional units necessary for the mixing module 10 is completed by a distributor module 26, which is likewise arranged in the interior of the installation box 40 and has a cable feed 27, which in turn is led outside the installation box 40 through a cable feedthrough 28 formed on the installation box 40, so that the distributor module 26 can be connected to an outside of the installation box 40 at any point arranged power source. The distributor module 26 has a connector 29, by means of which the distributor module 26 can be plugged together with the control module 24 so that a power supply of the control module 24 is initially ensured via the distributor module 26. The distributor module 26 then has two adjacent cable sockets 30 and a further cable bushing 31 for connecting further control lines for functional units arranged outside the installation box in the form of switches or correspondingly connected further flush-mounted modules with sanitary fittings attached thereto.

At its open top, a mounting plate 32 and a sealing and mounting frame 33 is inserted into the mounting box 40, wherein the structure of the mixing module 10 is completed by an external control unit 34. In a manner not shown, the control unit 34 may be connected via an internal cable connection to the distribution block 26, so that via appropriately made on the control unit inputs control of the temperature and volume control unit 22 as well as guided via the control module 24 further data lines of sanitary fittings can be done by further flush-mounted modules 12.

It is understood that such an operating unit can also be provided outside of the installation box 40, in which case the installation box can be closed by a cover plate. In this case, an externally arranged operating unit or are also several operating units via a separate and provided on the installation box 40 additional cable bushing 28 in the interior of the installation box 40 to lead cable connection to the distribution block 26, namely at the cable socket 31, connectable.
The structure of the mixing module 10 also makes it possible to connect from outside data lines via the distributor block 26 to the control module 24 and so make a query of state data or feed additional control commands, so that a computer-aided operation of the modular flush-mounted system with attached sanitary fittings is possible ,
