Abstract

Erfindungsgemäß wird eine die jeweilige Restfadenlänge auf den Spinnkopsen (9) repräsentierende Größe erfasst, aus in Abhängigkeit von der Restfadenlänge auf den Spinnkopsen (9) mindestens eines während des Spulens mit geregelter Spannung erfassten Stellsignals (u) werden Erfahrungswerte für das Stellsignal (u) ermittelt und für die Steuerung der Fadenspannung durch den Fadenspanner (14) bei Ausfall eines Sensors (20) werden die zuvor ermittelten Erfahrungswerte in Abhängigkeit von der Restfadenlänge auf dem Spinnkops (9) als Stellsignal (u) verwendet.
