Anschließend werden die Stoffbahnen der Flächenvorhänge per Klettverbindung an den bereits eingehängten Paneelwagen befestigt. Dabei bleibt die Verbindungsstelle bzw. der Paneelwagen von außen sichtbar, was den Gesamteindruck des fertig installierten Systems negativ beeinflusst. Zwar lässt sich dies nachträglich mit Blenden kaschieren, dies ist jedoch aufwendig, da die Blenden beim Vorhangwechsel demontiert werden müssen. Zur Montage kann eine Fixierung (vorzugsweise ein Rastmechanismus) gelöst werden, so dass der Lenker beweglich und der Paneelwagen aus der Schiene ein Stück weit ausgestellt wird, so dass der Paneelwagen trotz etwaiger Verblendungen sichtbar wird und das Anbringen des Flächenvorhangs problemlos möglich ist. Nach Befestigen des Flächenvorhanges kann der entsprechende Paneelwagen wieder in die Gebrauchsstellung gebracht werden.
