Abstract

La présente invention concerne des couvercles de regard qui sont placés dans une zone de trafic et sur lesquels peuvent rouler les véhicules. L'objet de l'invention est d'éviter, ou au moins de réduire considérablement, les bruits de claquement se produisant lors du passage des véhicules sur le couvercle de regards. Le couvercle de regard selon l'invention comporte un élément couvercle disposé dans un châssis et reposant sur une bride horizontale, radialement extérieure. Un élément rapporté, élastiquement déformable, présentant en coupe une forme circulaire, partiellement circulaire, triangulaire, en L, rectangulaire, trapézoïdale, ou une combinaison de ces formes, est fixé à la bride ou à l'élément couvercle par complémentarité de forme et/ou par assemblage à force, de façon qu'une zone de l'élément rapporté se trouvant entre la surface d'appui de l'élément couvercle et la surface d'appui de la bride maintienne, en l'absence de charge, un écartement entre ces surfaces. La face radialement intérieure de l'élément rapporté est adjacente au moins par endroits à l'élément couvercle, alors que sa face radialement extérieure est adjacente au moins par endroits au châssis, ce qui permet d'éviter le déplacement horizontal de l'élément couvercle par rapport au châssis.
