Abstract

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Beleuchtungsvorrichtung mit einer vorzugsweise flächig ausgebildeten Trägerstruktur, an der eine Vielzahl von Kristallen befestigt sind, die bei Bestrahlung durch eine Lichtquelle Lichtstrahlen in den zu beleuchtenden Raum abstrahlen. Erfindungsgemäß sind die Kristalle jeweils auf ihrer von dem zu beleuchtenden Raum abgewandten Rückseite mit einer reflektierenden Oberflächenbeschichtung versehen. Die reflektierende Oberflächenbeschichtung auf der Rückseite der Kristalle lässt die Kristalle gezielt in eine Richtung leuchten, so dass nicht nur bei im ausgeleuchteten Raum befindlichen Personen der Eindruck des Funkelns der Kristalle ensteht, sondern auch die Beleuchtungswirkung an sich und die im Raum erzielte vertikale Beleuchtungsstärke deutlich erhöht wird, ohne daß angestrahlte Betrachter davon geblendet wären. In Weiterbildung der Erfindung sind die Kristalle mit ihren Hauptachsen zumindest näherungsweise einheitlich ausgerichtet, insbesondere derart, dass die Kristalle alle schwerpunktmäßig in den auszuleuchtenden Raum strahlen. Um eine hohe Dynamik der Beleuchtungssituation für einen bewegten Beobachter zu erreichen, sind die Kristalle gleichwohl vorteilhafterweise zueinander verdreht bzw. mit unterschiedlichen Drehwinkeln angeordnet.
