Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a temporary and transportable lane and / or roadway lane separator element intended to be connected to at least one similar to form in particular a lane separation barrier.
  • the invention also relates to a channel separation barrier obtained by means of channel separating elements.
  • track separating elements are widespread in the field of public works, for example to carry out pavement repair operations.
  • Many types of track separating elements are already known, ranging from prestressed concrete separating elements, constituting extremely heavy and resistant barriers, to much lighter, transportable and sometimes stackable separating elements. These include, in general, a cavity which receives a ballast load to immobilize them on the ground and thus prevent their inadvertent movement.
  • These separator or marking elements are generally made of plastic material and said weighting load they receive is often water, sand or a load similar to sand and placed in a bag disposed in the cavity.
  • a transportable track separator element comprising a parallelepiped shaped body trapezoidal vertical section whose interior contains a cavity adapted to receive a ballast load.
  • the base of said body corresponding to the long side of the trapezoidal section is flat and forms the ground support surface of said channel separator element.
  • said channel separating element further comprises assembly means to be assembled with other similar elements, one after the other to form a separation barrier so as to preferably form an articulated connection allowing a certain pivoting horizontal between two adjacent separator elements.
  • assembly means are male-female organs able to fit into each other.
  • this separator element is certainly simple to obtain, particularly by rotational molding, and economic, but it does not allow to stack the separator elements on each other to reduce their transport volume.
  • this separator element is not very stable on the ground because of the shape of its base. Indeed, the support surface which is formed by the flat bottom of the body is not adapted to the site conditions where the separating elements are installed because the surfaces of the ground are generally not flat and irregular.
  • this type of separator elements is often relatively narrow and therefore does not have a large lateral wheelbase which makes it unstable. Another disadvantage of this type of separating element is its low wear resistance.
  • the bottom of his body serves as a ground support surface and the friction of the plastic bottom on the ground, usually rough and abrasive, causes very quickly the wear of said bottom and its weakening.
  • the body filled with the ballast load is deformed and can also be very quickly pierced which prohibits charging with water or even a bulk powdery material such as sand, under penalty of no longer guaranteeing the stability of the barrier separation and that the ballast load is discharged onto the ground.
  • the assembly means do not allow a solidarity of the separating elements between them, because the means assemblies are just nested in each other.
  • these assembly means of the male-female organs type do not allow to easily remove a single separator element of a separation barrier.
  • GB 2434595 discloses a channel separator element according to the features of the preamble of claim 1.
  • the object of the present invention is to overcome the drawbacks mentioned above and to propose a channel separator element serving not only as a marker element but also as an effective separator for forming effective separation barriers while remaining light, easy to implement. , resistant, perfectly stable whatever the nature and surface condition of the soil, easily stackable and especially transportable in economic conditions.
  • a separating element for pathways and / or temporary transportable road marking, stackable and intended to be connected at each of its ends with similar to form including a barrier separation path remarkable in that it comprises at least one globally flattened parallelepiped body curved downwards and a hollow foot extending laterally from said body, said bodies and feet each being capable of receiving a ballast load of said channel separating element.
  • said body defining at least two supports, said foot defining at least one support, said foot and said body are arranged to define three points of support and form a tripod separating element.
  • the foot is hollow and forms a pocket comprising a front opening and arranged to be filled with a ballast load.
  • the body comprises a base and a reservoir arranged to be filled with a ballast load and disposed above and in the extension of said base, the base and the reservoir being made of material.
  • the channel separator element comprises at one of the upper ends of its body a male coupling means and at the other upper end a female coupling means capable of reversibly cooperating with the means of coupling. male hooking of an adjacent lane separator element.
  • the lane separator element has areas of excess material at its ground support points.
  • the channel separator element comprises reinforcements of the imprint or rib type, in particular inside said foot.
  • the channel separator element according to the invention is preferably made of plastic material by extrusion blow molding and injection.
  • Another object of the present invention is to provide a strong and stable channel separation barrier.
  • a channel separation barrier comprising at least two channel separator elements as described above.
  • the channel separating element will be described hereinafter when used on horizontal ground. It goes without saying that the ground on which is disposed said channel separator element may also be more or less inclined, the terms vertical and / or horizontal, high and / or low will then be adapted to the inclination of said ground.
  • the channel separating element 1 comprises a body 2 in the overall shape of a downwardly curved flattened parallelepiped having two longitudinal major faces respectively forming the intrados and the extrados of said body 2.
  • the channel separating element 1 also comprises a hollow foot 3 extending laterally from the body 2 and forming a pocket comprising at least one front aperture 31 in the overall shape of an isosceles triangle crossing the main face forming the intrados of the body 2 and opening of the face forming the extrados.
  • the base 311 of the opening 31 is substantially rectilinear and its main apex 312 is rounded and positioned facing said base 311.
  • the channel separating element 1 is preferably made of injected plastic material and extruded-blown.
  • Said foot 3 comprises a bottom 32 substantially flat and generally trapezoidal shaped regular delimited by at least two side edges 321 connected at one of their ends by a small base 322 and at the other ends by the base 311 of said opening 31.
  • the foot 3 further comprises a left inclined wall 33 provided on either side of the edge of the triangular shape of the opening 31 and joining the opening 31 to the edge 322 and to the lateral edges 321 of the bottom 32.
  • Said foot 3 is positioned so that the bottom 32 is inclined relative to the main faces of the body 2 and offset from their edges.
  • the bottom 32 extends in part substantially perpendicular to the extrados of the body 2 of the channel separator element 1 and the edge 322 forms the support on the ground of said foot 3.
  • said foot 3 is suitable for receiving, if necessary and preferably, a weighting load found on the site of the site such as for example sand, water or stones.
  • the body 2 comprises a base 4 and a reservoir 5 arranged so that it is distant from the support plane delimited by said supports.
  • Said tank 5 is disposed opposite said supports relative to said base 4 and preferably disposed above and in the extension of said base 4.
  • Said tank 5 is adapted to receive a weighting load such as, for example, water, sand, or a load comparable to sand, dissociated from said base 4 that is to say without the ballast load is spread in said base 4.
  • the tank 5 is not in contact with the ground and is not likely to be pierced when the channel separator element 1 is ripped on the ground to move it and put it in place, even if said channel separator element 1 is displaced over large distances, on rough or abrasive surfaces such as bitumen or earth.
  • the base 4 further has a bottom 41 substantially horizontal and slightly curved so that only its two lower lateral ends 42 rest on the ground.
  • the base 4 is a down-curved flattened prism of vertical longitudinal section in the general shape of an isosceles triangle and comprises a recess 43 of generally triangular shape homothetic to that of the opening 31 of the foot 3 and is adapted to allow the passage of said foot 3 so that the latter passes at least partly the base 4 and thus the body 2 of the channel separator element 1, in the intrados-extxados direction, so as to form a tripod element.
  • the lateral wheelbase between the two lower lateral ends 42 of the base 4 and the edge 322 of the bottom 32 of the foot 3 as wide as possible and at least equal to 550 millimeters. Therefore, in the event of a wind perpendicular to the longitudinal face of the channel separating element 1, the stability of said channel separating element 1 is not in question.
  • the channel separator element 1 has only three independent ground supports forming an isostatic support, thus facilitating its implementation and its stability in particular on uneven and uneven ground.
  • the reservoir 5 is a down-curved flattened prism and comprises a substantially horizontal upper face 51 and a lower face 52 whose shape is complementary to that of the base 4 so that said reservoir 5 and the base 4 form the body 2 in the overall shape of curved flat parallelepiped.
  • the shape of the lower face 52 of the tank 5 allows the load of ballast contained in said tank 5 to be well distributed and in particular to have the ballast load distributed on either side of the recess 43, allowing lowering the center of gravity of the assembly to ensure good stability of the lane separator element 1.
  • the downward curved shape of the body 2 also makes it possible to lower the center of gravity of the whole of the channel separating element 1.
  • the base 4 and the tank 5 are derived from material, that is to say forming a single piece from the (or) same (s) operation (s) of manufacture, said base 4 and reservoir 5 then being preferably made by extrusion blow molding.
  • the base 4 comprises a shoulder (not shown) along the periphery of the recess 43 on its longitudinal side on the side of the intrados of the body 2 of the lane separator element 1.
  • the base 4 comprises, at the top of its recess 43, at least one tenon (not shown) of advantageously trapezoidal section.
  • the foot 3 is provided with a peripheral rim 34 along its opening 31.
  • the lower face of said peripheral rim 34 is able to bear on the shoulder of the base 4 in order to laterally position said foot 3 relative to the base 4 and therefore with respect to the body 2 and thus to constitute the channel separator element 1.
  • the foot 3 comprises at least one mortise (not shown) made at the top of its inclined wall 33 on the back of its peripheral rim 34. This mortise is adapted to cooperate with the tenon of the base 4 to snap the foot 3 into the base 4 ensuring the correct axial positioning of one relative to the other.
  • the body 2 and the foot 3 are assembled by clipping or screwing.
  • the lane separating element 1 comprises zones of excess material at its ground support points, namely the two lower longitudinal ends 42 of the base 4 and the edge 322 of the bottom 32 of the foot 3. These zones of excess material are formed during the extrusion blow molding of the body 2 and the injection of the foot 3. For the body 2, this excess material is obtained by passing the joint plane through the two lower longitudinal ends 42 of the base 4.
  • This configuration makes it possible to guarantee the resistance of the channel separator element 1 without increasing the thickness of the body 2 and the foot 3 in a homogeneous and excessive manner.
  • the optimized thickness of the channel separating element 1 makes it possible to significantly reduce its thickness. total weight and therefore facilitate its handling. Similarly, it is understood that the optimized thickness of the channel separating element 1 causes a reduction in its cost.
  • the channel separating element 1 comprises reinforcements of the fingerprint or rib type 35, in particular inside the foot 3 (shown on FIG. figure 1 ).
  • the skilled person will have no difficulty in determining the number, thickness and position of said reinforcements.
  • the figure 7 shows a front view of a stack of several channel separator elements 1 according to the invention. It is then clearly understood that the shape of said channel separating element 1 allows a very large interlocking, resulting in a high stacking density which is very advantageous for the transport of the channel separating elements 1 from a location of use to the other or to the place of storage. Indeed, at equal volume, the number of channel separator elements 1 transported is higher which allows a reduction in transport costs.
  • each channel separating element 1 comprises at the upper end of one of the vertical lateral faces of its body 2 a male coupling means 6 and, at the upper end of the other vertical lateral face of its body 2, a female attachment means 7.
  • the female attachment means 7 of a channel separator element 1 is integral with said element and adapted to cooperate reversibly with the male attachment means 6 of the lane separating element 1 adjacent to form a lane separation barrier.
  • the male coupling means 6 is advantageously a cylindrical pin 61 of substantially vertical axis disposed in a recess 62 generally quarter-circle arranged in the upper end of the body 2 opening on both sides longitudinal sides of said body 2.
  • the space of the recess 62 remaining between the pin 61 and the body 2 forms a groove 63 in the shape of a circular arc.
  • the female attachment means 7 is advantageously a latch 71 whose horizontal section is U-shaped pivotable about a substantially horizontal axis.
  • the vertical side faces of said channel separator elements 1 must be brought into contact, the latch 71 of the first channel separator element 1 is pivoted to engage it in the groove 63 of the second channel separator element 1 until said latch 71 surrounds the pin 61 of the second channel separator element 1.
  • said male and female coupling means 6 7, including the groove 63 it is understood that this mode of assembly of two adjacent channel separator elements 1 is secured while being perfectly reversible.
  • said male and female coupling means 7 are captive because they are integral with said channel separator elements 1.
  • this type of male and female coupling means 7 can easily remove a only lane separator element 1 of a lane separation barrier without having to intervene on the adjacent elements.
  • the foot 3 of the channel separator element 1 can easily be partially relieved by draining said foot 3 to facilitate its handling. For this, it is sufficient to tilt said channel separator element 1, without having to return it entirely.
  • channel separating elements 1 may comprise self-reflecting elements (not shown) such as elements with retro-reflective effect.
  • channel separator element 1 is preferably made of plastic material by extrusion blow molding and injection which is a very interesting solution for a large element. These two methods also allow good manufacturing accuracy.
  • the channel separating element 1 according to the invention can advantageously be installed on any type of construction site areas of public works and civil engineering.
  • the structure of the lane separating element 1 according to the invention is light and simple construction, and that the transition from the normal condition of use to the stacking mode is particularly simple and fast , while ensuring a remarkable stability of the channel separating element 1 in normal use condition.
  • channel separator element 1 according to the invention which has just been described is only one of the particular illustrations, in no way limiting the invention.
