Definitions

  • the invention relates to methods for producing a printed product according to claim 1 or 2.
  • Printed products with very low page numbers for example printed products, which consist of a single, possibly front and / or back printed page in a Boadsheet format (see DIN 16604, for example in the 1973 version) and can be used, for example, as an envelope for Einsteckwovene With high-speed rotary printing presses today's web widths are usually not efficiently produced, since in this case only a very narrow substrate web could be used.
  • Such printed products are used, for example, as an envelope when inserts, for example newspaper inserts, are printed prior to an actual printing operation of a newspaper and stored in the envelope so that the envelope can be fed to the newspaper with a plurality of newspaper inserts at a later time with a single insertion operation ,
  • a device for producing folded products with a plurality of side by side arranged in an upper and lower level formers for mixing of partial strands wherein the sub-strands combined to form a main folder in a Querfalzapparat and transverse in signatures be cut and the sub-strands can take a pre-selectable position in the main strand of the Querfalzapparats by mixing and wherein the lower formers are fixed, the Querfalzvorides from a - viewed in the axial direction - each "double-width" ceremoniur- and Falzmesser- and jaw cylinder with a left and a right inlet for each have a main strand, wherein the guided in each case an upper level two sub-strands are each optionally arranged individually or collectively in the left inlet or in the right inlet introduced.
  • two different folded products can be produced simultaneously.
  • the DE 10 2005 031 958 A1 is a printing machine with several printing towers, each with multiple printing units for printing, and at least one former arrangement for longitudinal folding of webs known, the former arrangement, viewed in the machine longitudinal direction, has two funnel superstructures, wherein a first of the funnel structures next to each other three formers each with a width, the is smaller than half of a maximum web width, and the second funnel structure has at least one funnel plane with two juxtaposed funnels each having a width which corresponds in each case substantially to one half of a maximum web width.
  • a method for producing a printed product and a printing machine wherein a strand of substrate is divided into at least two sub-strands and the sub-strands may be fed to two different folders.
  • the partial strands each comprise partial webs which have a width which corresponds to twice the width of one side in a broadsheet format, these partial webs being at least partially in the form of sheath sections.
  • Each of the partial webs is turned over several times.
  • claims 1 and 2 differs from the method according to EP-A-1 391 410 in that the at least two folders are coupled in such a way that the transport cylinders of the folders rotate synchronously, and that a printing material web is cut into two partial webs, which are fed to the two different coupled folders and further processed there.
  • both heatset inks and coldset inks are used and wherein printing substrate webs are cut into partial webs and wherein different formers are used and wherein at least one of the partial webs to a width of a page in a broadsheet Format is cut longitudinally and in a corresponding folder in a length of a page in broadsheet format is cut across.
  • EP 1 849 602 A1 a method for the production of printed products is known, wherein a printing material web is cut so that a partial web is formed, which has a width of a page in a broadsheet format.
  • a double folding apparatus is known. This can either be operated so that different printing material webs are fed to the two folders independently or that several printing material webs are fed to one of the folders, while the other is stationary.
  • the invention has for its object to provide a method for producing a printed product.
  • the achievable with the present invention consist in particular that a replacement device is available through an arrangement of a second folder, which can compensate for a failure of a first folder.
  • Another advantage is that printed products can be made that are narrower than a smallest roll of material that can be processed by the printing machine used. For example, with a press capable of handling rolls of material whose minimum extension along their cylinder axis is twice as wide as a width of a printed page in broadsheet format, a printed product consisting of a single standing page in broadsheet format can be produced . which can be printed on the front and / or back.
  • Another advantage is that the arrangement of two folders a Number of printed products, each consisting of a single front and / or back printed page in Braodsheet format can be produced in less time than would be the case with only one folder, if the problem of narrow rolls of media would otherwise be solved.
  • Another advantage is that the possibility of optionally coupled or decoupled to operate optionally at least two folders, the second folder can be used more effectively, since he in addition to the above-mentioned production of printed products, each from a single front and / or The back printed page in Braodsheet format and its function as a replacement device can also be used for simultaneous, independent production of several different printed products.
  • Another advantage is that achieved by a coupled operation of at least two folders with simultaneous production of two different printed products with a printing machine by dividing at least one printing material in two partial webs, which are processed in different folders, a greater variability in the page number of the two printed products becomes.
  • a press machine with six pages in broadsheet format, wide form cylinders, six machine sections that can print in two colors on both sides, and two separate folders, for example, simultaneously produce 48-page and 24-page printed products. If a 52-page printed product is produced, then with decoupled folders with the unoccupied cylinders, only a 12-page printed product can be produced, a form cylinder remains unused to two-thirds.
  • Another advantage is that by means of a coupled operation at least two folding machines production is possible in the printed products can be printed mainly by means of cost-effective cold-set printing process and a Beduckstoffbahn, which is then divided on the at least two folders, can be printed by means of high quality heatset printing process, so that for example only one
  • a number of products with a high-quality printed outer sheet or page and inexpensive inner sheet or pages can be produced by means of Heatst printing process. This allows high-quality print products to be realized at low cost and low energy consumption.
  • Another advantage is that, by arranging multiple printing units and folders in a row, a printing press can be constructed to save space, since an arrangement of aggregates outside such a row at a assumed rectangular footprint of a required footprint causes a much larger footprint.
  • An arrangement of two machine sections including respective folders over the cross here causes a significantly disadvantageous space requirement.
  • a web guide to compensate for a failure of a folder is easier when the folders are parallel to each other.
  • an independent production of different printed products with the arrangement in a row is more easily possible, since otherwise, if necessary, consuming printing material webs are at least partially directed around each other or at least unnecessarily often have to change their transport directions.
