Selon l'invention, le dispositif (V) est conçu pour comparer la modulation du signal de réception (SIGE) avec celle du signal d'émission (SIGS). L'invention concerne également un procédé pour faire fonctionner un dispositif (V) permettant de détecter si un tronçon de voie (G) est libre ou occupé.
