Description

The invention relates to bags of thermally sealable film according to the preamble of claim 1. Furthermore, the invention relates to methods for producing such bags from thermally sealable film.

The presently considered bags of foil form a limited by pocket seams pocket for receiving the bag contents, in particular a tobacco serving. In the hitherto customary tobacco pouches of this embodiment, the substantially rectangular pocket is provided with side pocket seams which connect the pocket walls, namely front wall and rear wall, by thermal sealing together. The rear wall is provided with a foil extension, which serves as a closure tab, in particular as a wrapper, which rests when the bag is closed on the front wall and on the rear wall of the bag and fixed by tape or Velcro in the closed position ( EP 1 683 736 A2 and EP 2 087 992 A1 ).

The object of the invention is to develop a (tobacco) bag according to the preamble of claim 1 with regard to the inclusion of smaller tobacco portions without accepting disadvantages in the industrial production of such bags.

To solve this problem, the (tobacco) bag according to the invention with the features of claim 1 is formed.

The bag of the bag is thus formed triangular, namely with triangular front wall and corresponding rear wall. The pocket walls are connected to each other by at least one obliquely directed, edge-side pocket seam. The other, obliquely directed connection may be formed as a further pocket seam or as a folded edge.

Triangular packages for small portions of scatterable material are known ( DE 10 2005 048 357 A1 ). This triangular packaging is closed on all sides and intended for single use. A three-dimensional, pyramidal container with triangular side surfaces is known by EP 1 010 631 A1 , This container is also intended for single use.

In a special way, the closure flap is formed, which is brought as a triangular or rectangular or square flap by folding twice around the mutually arranged at an acute angle bag edges in the closed position, wherein when folding in the end position, the closure flap along diagonal fold edges or fold lines obtained with triangular part flaps on the front wall and on the back wall of the bag attachment.

According to the invention, the thus-formed (tobacco) pouches can be manufactured according to different methods, in each case from continuous webs of the film.

The illustrated bags 10 are made of a thermally sealable film. For a bag contents, in particular a tobacco portion 11, the bag 11 forms a pocket 12 with a front pocket wall, namely a front wall 13 and a corresponding rear wall 14. The rear wall 14 is provided with an extension of the film to form a closure flap 15, which in the present case Winding tab is formed and in the closed position on the front wall 13 on the one hand and the rear wall 14 on the other hand rests.

A peculiarity is the shape of the pocket 12. This is triangular in the preferred embodiments, namely with triangular front wall 13 and corresponding rear wall 14. The preferably equal size pocket walls 13, 14 along an obliquely directed folding edge 16 and opposite by a likewise obliquely oriented connecting seam, namely Pocket seam 17 bonded together by thermal sealing (or by gluing). The triangular-shaped pocket 12 preferably requires only one sealed seam for connecting the pocket walls 13, 14. A pocket opening 18 is disposed opposite a tip 19 formed by the converging pocket edges.

The closure flap 15 is advantageously designed so that it at least partially covers the front wall 13, but expediently also the rear wall 14 of the pocket 12 in the closed position. In the particular embodiment according to Fig. 1 to Fig. 8 the closure flap 15 is a rectangular or square extension in extension of the rear wall 14. By a first folding step (FIG. Fig. 2 ), the closure flap 15 is folded around an upper edge 20 of the front wall 13 in the region of the pocket opening 18 until it rests against the front wall 13. A side edge 21 of the closure flap 15 is aligned in this position on a peripheral edge in the region of the pocket seam 17, namely with this flush , The dimension of the locking tab 15 is selected so that the side edge 21 in its dimension or length corresponds approximately to the length of the pocket seam 17, so that a corner of the locking tab 15 at the end of the side edge 21 with the top 19 is congruent. This results in a triangular projection of the locking tab 15 (FIG. Fig. 2 ). This is folded along a diagonal fold line 26 against the rear wall 14, namely along the oblique folding edge 16 of the pocket 12. In the final state is thus a triangular part flap 22 on the front wall 13 and a (equal) part flap 23 on the rear wall 14 of the bag 12th The side edge 21 extends in a straight line continuation of the edge of the pocket 12 formed by the pocket seam 17.

The partial pocket 23 is preferably releasably fixed to the rear wall 14, in this case by an adhesive or Velcro connection. Corresponding connecting pieces 24, 25 are attached to corresponding corner regions of pocket 12 and closure flap 15, namely in a corner region of the rear wall 14 on the one hand and an associated corner region of the closure tab 15 or the part bag 23 on the other.

Fig. 2 shows the intermediate position of the locking tab 15 after the first folding step, with a view to the front of the bag. Fig. 3 is a corresponding view with a view of the rear wall 14th Fig. 4 shows the sealed bag 10, wherein the (Velcro) connecting pieces 24, 25 abut each other. The pocket 12 is preferably provided in the region of the pocket opening 18 with a detachable sealing seam 27 (peel seal; zip-lock). The finished packaging accordingly has a total of a triangular contour, in which the closure flap 15 or its partial flaps 22, 23 form a preferably full-surface, double-sided covering of the pocket 12.

The contour of the bag 10 and the bag 12 may be different in a triangular configuration, for example, as a right-angled, isosceles triangle, in which the folding edge 16 forms the hypotenuse. The bag 10 or the bag 12 may alternatively be formed as an isosceles triangle ( FIG. 9 to FIG. 12 ). The pocket 24 associated with the connector 24 is positioned in each case in a corner adjacent to the pocket opening 18.

A special feature is the production of (tobacco) bags 10 with triangular pocket 12. A material web, in particular a film web 28 is formed in the width so that the dimension of the pocket 12 along the pocket seam 17 plus the width or transverse dimension of the closure tab 15 corresponds. During the transport of the film web 28 separating cuts 29 are mounted, which extend from a free edge of the film web 28 approximately to the middle of the web, in the embodiment according to Fig. 5 across the track (at right angles). The distances of the separating cuts 29 corresponding to the width of the pocket 12 (in the region of the pocket opening 18). The film web 28 is provided in a preceding step with the connecting pieces 24, 25, corresponding to the position on the finished bag 10. The connecting pieces 24, 25 are mounted on opposite sides of the film web 28.

In a further step, the pocket 12 is formed (as part of the film web 28), by folding over a pocket wall, in particular the front wall 13 along the folded edge 16 until it rests against the rear wall 14 (Transversely directed) free edges of the pocket walls 13, 14 by attaching the pocket seam 17 (transverse to the longitudinal extent of the film web 28) connected to each other. The bag 12 is thus completed in principle. It can now be filled the tobacco portion 11. Alternatively, the filling is carried out after separating the bag 10 from the film web 28. For this purpose, a separation cut in (rectilinear) extension of the separating cut 29 is carried out, as a result of which the closure tab 15 assigned to the respective bag 10 is separated from the foil web 28 ( Fig. 6 ). The closure flap 15 is now brought in the finished bag 10 in the described manner in the closed position. Any existing sealing seam 27 in the region of the pocket opening 18 is attached to the continuous film web 28 in a first working step.

In the embodiment of the FIG. 9 to FIG. 12 For example, bags 10 are shown and made whose pocket 12 is formed as an equilateral triangle. Furthermore, the closure flap 15 has the shape of an oblique quadrilateral with slanted side edges 21. These extend in a straight line continuation of marginal edges of the pocket 12 in the area of the pocket seam 17. An opposite, parallel side edge 30 is at an obtuse angle to the fold edge 16 of the pocket 12th directed.

In the production of accordingly 10 to FIG. 12 trained bags 10 are obliquely or at an acute angle to the longitudinal extent of the film web 28 directed separating cuts 29 attached. The further steps until the completion of the bag 10 correspond to the embodiment according to Fig. 5 to Fig. 8 in an analogous way. The closure tab 15 is brought in this example in a first step in the closed position, by folding around the defined by the pocket opening 18 edge 20 in an intermediate fold position ( Fig. 11 ). In the further folding step, the closure flap 15 or the part flap 23 is folded against the rear wall 14 around one of the beveled edges of the pocket 12, here around the edge defined in the region of the pocket seam 17. In the end position, a triangular formation of the entire bag 10 is given, wherein due to the folding steps given here, the pocket seam 17 is covered by the closure flap 15.

Another manufacturing method for bags 10 with triangular pockets 12 is shown in FIG FIGS. 13 to 15 shown. The production is particularly advantageous for a Feeding the film web 18 in the vertical plane or conveying direction, in this case from top to bottom. The film web 28 is prepared so that the bag 12 is in a transverse position, so the pocket opening 18 extends transversely to the film web 28. The pocket opening 18 or the edges bordering it-upper edge 20-extend over the full width of the film web 28. The shape of the pocket 12 chosen in this exemplary embodiment corresponds to that of an isosceles, right-angled triangle. The tip 19 is directed downwards.

During production, the film web 28, which is preferably transported continuously in the downward direction, is provided with inclined separating cuts 29 starting from a free edge, at an acute angle to the (upright) side edge. In a first folding step, a triangular tab defined by the marginal edge of the film web 28 and the separating cut 29 is detected and positioned as a front wall 13 of the pocket 12 by folding over. Thereafter, the pocket seam 17 is attached, which extends in extension of the slanted separating cut 29. The filling of the bag 12 can now take place (or after separation of the bag 10 of the film web 28). The separation cut required for this is carried out along the pocket seam 17.

The total triangular closure flap 15 is folded in the manner described, wherein the last folded triangular part flap 23 is folded around the defined by the pocket seam 17 edge of the pocket 12, so that the seam 17 is covered by the flap 15.

The total of triangular-shaped bag 10 when the closure flap 15 is closed can be positioned in bundle packs in a spatially advantageous manner ( Fig. 16 ). Each two bags 10 are arranged side by side in a transverse plane, so that two equal-length oblique edges, in particular the edges formed in the region of the pocket opening 18, face each other or lie against one another. This results in a total rectangular or square structure. Several such pairs of bags 10 are adjacent and to each other, so that a total cuboid bundle pack is formed ( Fig. 16 ).

Die Tasche 12 endet im Bereich einer quergerichteten Bodennaht 31.A further embodiment of a (tobacco) bag 10 on the basis of converging, ie at an angle to each other facing edges of the bag 12, is in 17 to FIG. 22 shown. The bag 12 is trapezoidal. Lateral boundaries of the pocket 12 are directed at an acute angle to each other. These are, on the one hand, the side edge of the pocket 12 formed by the folding edge 16 and, on the other hand, the edge in the area of the pocket seam 17. The trapezoidal shape is chosen here such that the folding edge 16 extends transversely to the edges 20 of the pocket opening 18 and the pocket Pocket seam 17 is directed at an angle to the pocket opening 18. The pocket 12 ends in the region of a transverse bottom seam 31.

The closure surface 15 is also formed on the same construction principle of the bag 10, namely consists of two triangular part flaps 22, 23. Overall, the closure flap 15 is formed as a continuation of the rear wall 14, but arranged laterally, namely in extension over the pocket seam 17 addition. The locking tab 15 is a crooked rectangle or square. In a first folding step, the part flap 22 is folded against the (trapezoidal) front wall 13 ( Fig. 21 ). Due to the different geometrical shapes of the pocket 12 on the one hand and the closure flap 15 or the partial flaps 22, 23 on the other hand, only a portion of the front wall 13 is covered by the closure flap 15, namely by the part flap 22. In a second folding step, the (triangular) part flap 23 is folded against the back of the bag 12, namely to rest on the rear wall 14. Again, a complete coverage of the rear wall 14 due to the different geometric shapes is not given. However, the pocket opening 18 is covered over the full length by the closing tab 15, namely by the folding edge 26.

In the production of such or similar bags is made analogous to the above examples. From a continuous film web 28 a (in this case unfolded) blank 32 is separated for each bag 10. The width of the blank 32 or the height of the bag 10 or the pocket 12 corresponds to the width of the film web 28. The blank 32 is trapezoidal in overall shape with convergent, directed transversely to the film web 28 blank edges 33, 34. The blank 32 is sized so that successive areas for the trapezoidal pocket 12 with the pocket walls 13, 14 and then the existing of the two part flaps 22, 23 closing tab 15 are defined here by imaginary, each represented by dashed lines fold lines. Every second of the film web 28 cut blank 32 is turned by 180 °, so that the in FIGS. 18 and 19 given uniform relative position is given.

Faltlinie 26 abgedeckt. In a first folding and manufacturing step, the bag 12 is formed ( Fig. 19 ) by folding over a portion of the blank 32 along the folded edge 16 so that surface areas for forming the front wall 13 and the rear wall 14 lie on each other. The obliquely oriented pocket seam 17 and the bottom seam 31 extending in the longitudinal direction of the blank 32 can now be produced. The pocket opening 18 is located on a free side edge of the blank 32, which corresponds to one or the other longitudinal edge of the film web 28. The bag is now made so far that the tobacco portion 11 can be inserted into the pocket 12 ( Fig. 20 ). Thereafter, the folding steps described are performed. In the area of the pocket opening 18, a closing seam 27 can also be attached here. As in all embodiments, the pocket opening 18 is covered in full length by the closure tab 15 in the region of the fold edge or fold line 26.

A powerful manufacturing principle for bag 10 of the embodiments described above arises from FIGS. 23 to 25 , The film web 28 for producing the pouches 10 is dimensioned in width so that two pouches 10 are produced side by side, possibly with mutual interleaving, essentially simultaneously. Another special feature is that the film web 28 formed with a corresponding width is a single-layer carrier web and that in the region of the double-walled design of the bag 10, ie in the region of the pocket 12, further film material is supplied or processed. In the present case, a (continuous) film strip 35 is applied to the film web 28, in particular centrally. This is connected in the formation of the bag 10 with corresponding portions of the film web 28. The film strip 35 consisting of preferably the same film serves in the present case to form a part of the pockets 12, in particular the pocket front wall 13. The film strip 35 lying on the film web 18 corresponds in width to a corresponding dimension of the pocket 12. Sealing seams form the connection For this purpose, preferably a transverse pocket seam 17 and additionally a diagonal side seam 36 is produced by thermal sealing. The triangular pocket 12 is therefore bounded by two sealing seams 17, 36 arranged in a V-shape. The locking tab 15 as (on both sides) edge strip of the film web 28 is formed in the manner described rectangular or square. This method can also be produced in an analogous manner for the production of (tobacco) bags with conventional, namely rectangular pockets, the pockets being formed by a bottom seam running in the longitudinal direction of the film web or film strip 35 and by transverse pocket seams.

In the production of two juxtaposed bags 10, V-shaped double seams 37, 38 in the region of the continuous film web 28 with strips 35 are preferably produced at the same time. These are designed such that they form pocket seams 17 of adjacent bags 10 next to one another on the one hand and side seams 36 of two simultaneously produced bags 10 on the other hand. By means of a transverse separating cut across the full width of the film web 28 and through an obliquely directed separating cut centrally in the area of the double seam 38, the two bags 10 are produced simultaneously and separated from the film web 28. The centrally severed double seam 37 forms one of the pocket seams 17 of the subsequently produced pair of bags 10 in the region of a transverse edge of the film web 28.

Aus den Randschenkeln 41, 42 entstehen jeweils die Vorderwände 13 der Taschen 12.The principle of performance increase by means of film web 28 corresponding to greater width is also in the example according to Fig. 26, Fig. 27 realized. In this example, it is about the preferably simultaneous production of transverse to the film web 28 adjacent bags 10. These are formed here in a conventional manner, namely with a rectangular pocket 12 and two side pocket seams 39, 40. The pockets 12 of the adjacent Beuel 10 are formed by continuous folding of edge limbs 41, 42. These form a continuous double-layer edge strip on both sides of the film web 28. From the edge legs 41, 42 are respectively the front walls 13 of the pockets 12th

The width of the film web 28 is selected so that facing each other, namely between the two edge legs 41, 42, closure tabs 15 are formed for each bag 10. These can be formed as a simple closure tab or - as in the illustrated embodiment - as a wrapper. In the present case, the opposing bags 10 are arranged offset from one another. transverse Separating sections of the film web 28 are accordingly offset in the longitudinal direction of the same. The closure tabs 15 are provided with a tongue 43 with curved edges as a closure region of the part-flap 23 resting against the rear wall 14 (FIG. Fig. 27 ). The contour is continuously created by a correspondingly shaped wave-shaped, central dividing line 44 of the film web 28. The pocket seams 39, 40 are produced as double-wide seams in the region of the film web 28 and severed centrally by the transverse separating cuts to form the pocket seams 39, 40.
