Das Federelement, das durch eine sich ungefähr senkrecht zur Backenschiene erstreckende tunnelartige Ausnehmung im Gleitstuhl hindurchgeführt ist, dient somit nicht nur zum federnden Niederhalten des Schienenfußes der Backenschiene, sondern gleichzeitig auch der federnden Aufhängung des gesamten Gleitstuhls. Die erfindungsgemäße Bauweise verbindet somit die Vorteile der bisherigen Konstruktionsprinzipien, nämlich einerseits das Prinzip des mit der Unterlagsplatte einstückig ausgebildeten Gleitstuhls mit federnder Niederhaltung des Schienenfußes und andererseits das Prinzip des an der Unterlagsplatte mittels einer Verschraubung oder eines Spannbügels befestigten Gleitstuhls, der den Schienenfuß lediglich durch einen Formschluss niederhält. Gleichzeitig wird die Bruchanfälligkeit der Unterlagsplatte verringert, welche über ihre ganze Länge im Wesentlichen mit der gleichen Dicke ausgebildet werden kann, sodass es an keiner Stelle zu einem wesentlichen Steifigkeitssprung kommt, der einen Bruch begünstigen würde. Claims (14)

- The device according to anyone of claims 1 to 11, characterized in that the slide chair (7) lies on an elastic base (3, 26).
- The device according to anyone of claims 1 to 12, characterized in that the slide chair (7) is composed of an upper and a lower slide chair part, wherein the lower slide chair part cooperates with the essentially horizontal stopping face (16) and the upper slide chair part can be fixed on the lower slide chair part.
- A switch comprising at least one sleeper (1), a bearing plate (2) tat is fixed on the sleeper (1), if applicable, with an elastic intermediate layer (3, 26) arranged in between, at least one stock rail (5) that is fastened on the bearing plate (2) and at least one switch rail (12) that can be displaced between an open position referred to the stock rail (5) and a closed position referred to the stock rail (5) and is supported on at least one slide chair (7), characterized in that the rail base (6) of the stock rail (5) is fastened by means of a device according to anyone of claims 1 to 13.
