Claims (6)

  1. Schutzhelm, der umfasst:
    - eine haubenförmige äußere Schale (11) aus stoßfestem Kunststoff,
    - eine Einfassung (12) im Inneren der Haube, die hinten von einem Nackenband (13) und vorne von einem Rückhalteband (14) gebildet wird,
    - einen Einstellmechanismus (15), der mit mindestens einem drehbaren Betätigungsrädchen (16) zum Anpassen der Einfassung (12) an die Kopfgröße (12a) des Benutzers versehen ist,
    - und einen Riegel (27), der dazu bestimmt ist, eine verriegelte oder entriegelte Position einzunehmen, um den Drehantrieb des Rädchens (16) jeweils zu verhindern oder zu ermöglichen,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Einstellmechanismus (15) ein doppeltes Zahnrad (17) mit einem ersten Ritzel (18) umfasst, das einer ersten Zahnstange (19) zum Antrieb des Nackenbands (13) zugeordnet ist, sowie einem zweiten Ritzel (20), das einer zweiten Zahnstange (21) zum Antrieb des Bands (14) zugeordnet ist, wobei die beiden Ritzel (18, 20) unterschiedliche Durchmesser haben, um einen unterschiedlichen Antrieb des Bands (14) bzw. des Nackenbands (13) sicherzustellen.
  2. Schutzhelm nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Riegel (27) durch einen manuell auf das Betätigungsrädchen (16) ausgeübten Druck in Richtung auf die entriegelte Position betätigt wird, und zwar vor dem Drehantrieb des doppelten Zahnrads (17).
  3. Schutzhelm nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Riegel (27) mittels Rückholmitteln in die verriegelte Position gezogen wird.
  4. Schutzhelm nach Anspruch 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Rückholmittel von mindestens einer Zunge (30) gebildet werden, die sich durch Ausübung eines Drucks auf das Betätigungsrädchen (16) biegsam verformen.
  5. Schutzhelm nach einem der vorstehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das doppelte Zahnrad (17) und das entsprechende Betätigungsrädchen (16) auf jeder der beiden Seiten um eine gemeinsame Drehachse (28) herum montiert sind, die sich lotrecht zur Innenseite der Schale (11) erstreckt.
  6. Schutzhelm nach einem der vorstehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Mechanismus auf jeder Seite der Schale (11) ein doppeltes Zahnrad (17) aufweist und dass das erste Ritzel (18) des doppelten Zahnrads (17) einen größeren Durchmesser als das zweite Ritzel (20) hat, wobei alles so angeordnet ist, dass die Zentrierung des Helms (10) auf dem Kopf (12a) erhalten bleibt, und zwar unabhängig von der Einstellposition des Rädchens (16) zwischen der maximalen und minimalen Einspannposition der Kopfeinfassung (12).
