Claims (10)

  1. Fauteuil roulant comprenant au moins un dispositif de freinage (32) pour freiner une roue (28) du fauteuil roulant à l'aide d'un levier de freinage (8) qui vient en prise avec un mécanisme par l'intermédiaire duquel un élément de freinage (4) peut être amené dans une position de roue libre dans laquelle la roue (28) n'est pas freinée par l'élément de freinage (4), et dans une position de blocage dans laquelle la roue (28) est freinée par l'élément de freinage (4), le levier de freinage (8) étant rabattable, caractérisé en ce que dans la position de roue libre, le levier de freinage (8) est couplé rigidement au mécanisme, et il ne peut être dégagé du mécanisme pour se rabattre que lorsque l'élément de freinage (4) se trouve dans la position de blocage.

Fauteuil roulant selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que le dispositif de freinage (32) dispose d'une goupille (22) qui coopère avec un guide de coulisse (24) dédié, de façon à être introduite dans le guide de coulisse (24) lorsque l'on dégage le levier de freinage (8) d'avec le mécanisme.
  6. Fauteuil roulant selon la revendication 5, caractérisé en ce qu'une butée de fin de course (26) est prévue dans le guide de coulisse (24), contre laquelle la goupille (22) vient en contact lorsque le levier de freinage (8) est rabattu.
  7. Fauteuil roulant selon la revendication 6, caractérisé en ce que le guide de coulisse (24) se rétrécit en allant en direction de la butée de fin de course (26).
  8. Fauteuil roulant selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que dans la position rabattue, le levier de freinage (8) est précontraint par un élément de force (20) dédié.
