Definitions
- a panel connection is known in which a separate blocking agent is used.
- the blocking means is a boomerang-shaped profile which is pressed into a, on the side surface of the floor panel introduced, round groove.
- the profile has a slightly dimensioned projection, which is supported on an equally slightly sized groove in the transition region of the round groove to an outwardly projecting leg.
- the projection also represents an axis of rotation of the profile.
- a relative rotational movement of a thicker end of the profile relative to the groove in which the projection is seated is caused by lowering of the counter panel, which presses against a second, thinner end of the profile.
- the profile engages with its thicker free end in a groove of the adjacent floor panel (Gegenpaneel).
- a disadvantage of the known solution is that the seat of the profile does not guarantee a satisfactory grip for the profile, so that the profile can easily fall out of the groove before and during assembly.
- a floor covering which is composed of rectangular floor panels made of wood, wood chip or fiber material, at the successive side surfaces separate blocking means in the form of profile elements are located.
- the profile elements have obliquely arranged, barb-like acting profile webs, with which the position of the floor panels can be set in the vertical direction.
- a disadvantage of the known floor covering that the profile elements are designed as two parts and are complicated in shape.
- the profile elements covered by the wear layer project over the lower surface of the bottom layer in the direction of the ground.
- the object of the invention is to design a generic floor whose floor panels are detachably joined together via simple separate, made of a piece of material and safer seated in corresponding grooves blocking agent.
- the profiles are essentially T- or L-profiles and trough-shaped profiles, preferably those whose cross-section is the capital letters C-, H-, L-, M-, T-, U-, W-, Z- or X is similar.
- the outwardly projecting locking lug can be formed as an extension of a leg of the C, H, Z or X profile. These Profiles are in principle intended for insertion into the grooves of already laid floor panels.
- the locking lug can at a free end of a U, V or L-leg or a central web of the T-profile pointing outwards, ie perpendicular to the leg or to the central web be arranged.
- the T-profile has proven, the T-web engages with its protruding projections in the introduced in the bottom layer grooves.
- the T-profile has a central web, which is arranged in the installed state substantially perpendicular to the bottom layer and deformed during the assembly of two floor panels, so that engages with its latching nose in the corresponding groove of the adjacent floor panel.
- the two interconnected floor panels can be effectively locked in both a vertical and a horizontal direction.
- the locking lug west on a sliding surface, which makes it possible to "automatically” push the profile when lowering the angle located in the second floor panel in the groove of the already laid, first floor panel.
- a profile has proven to be particularly advantageous, which is equipped with a detent, the sliding surface - in the profile cross-section - rounded or curved, whereby the pressing in of the detent can be facilitated in a corresponding receiving groove of the Gegenpaneels.
- the present invention also relates to a method for laying floor panels in which the angularly located floor panel presses against said sliding surface until the locking lug is pressed completely under spring force into the groove or a cavity of the laid floor panel. After lowering the floor panel moves the latch and optionally a resilient element of the profile, which carries the latch, in corresponding groove of the floor panel.
- the locking lug and / or a foot of the profile may be made stiffer than the legal material of the profile.
- the M, W and U profiles can also be provided with at least one movable detent which is disposed at a free end of a leg or web.
- the groove, in which engages the latch can be provided with a stabilizing cover made of plastic, resin or metal.
- the profiles forming the blocking agent can be made of metal, wood material or plastic.
- the blocking agent i. H. Profile made of plastic, it can be cheaply made available as a mass-produced item.
- the profiles according to the invention are essentially intended for the narrow edges of the floor panels.
- the floor panels can also be integrated in the longer side surfaces if they are adapted to the separate profiles accordingly.
- the L, T, U, M or W profiles can be pressed into the existing groove of the floor panel manually or mechanically or with the aid of an automatic machine.
- the provided with the profiles floor panels can be stored and distributed in this form. This is particularly facilitated by the fact that the profiles sit securely in the grooves and practically have no chance to fall out of the groovesätig.
- a simplified illustrated floor 1 is the Fig. 36 refer to.
- the floor 1 consists of several rectangular floor panels 10.1, 10.2, ..., 10.n, each having two mutually parallel side surfaces 11.1, 11.2 and two other, also mutually parallel side surfaces 12.1, 12.2, wherein the side surfaces 11.1, 11.2 in technical language as longitudinal edges and the side surfaces 12.1, 12.2 can be referred to as narrow edges of the floor panel.
- the structure of the floor panels and their narrow sides show, for example, the Figures 5 and 9 ,
- the floor panel 10.1, 10.2 has a wear layer 5, a bottom layer 3 and an intermediate core layer 2 of wood-based material.
- the utility and soil layers 5; 3 are in the present case also made of wood material, so that the whole floor panel consists of renewable resources, with only on the wear layer 5 a protective plastic film can be laminated.
- bottom refers to floor panels laid on a horizontal surface.
- the profiled side surface 12.1 has a groove 8, which is arranged within the core layer 2 and is delimited on its right side, and a lower locking arm 60 projecting beyond the groove 8.
- a lower groove flank 61 of the groove 8 extends in an upper surface 63 of the locking arm 60 up to an upwardly projecting lip 62.
- the upper surface 63 of the locking arm 60 and the groove flank 61 lie in a common plane.
- the second side surface 12.2 has a lower groove 64, which in the assembled state of the two floor panels 10.1, 10.2 (see. Fig. 9 ) receives the lip 62.
- the groove 64 merges into a projection 66 offset from the bottom layer 3. Furthermore, the side surface 12.2 has a groove 41 incorporated in the core layer 2, which groove almost adjoins the wear layer 5. Characteristic of the groove 41 are their downwardly inclined flanks 65.1, 65.2 (see also FIGS. 6 . 10 and 11 ).
- Fig. 8 differs from the one described above ( Fig. 9 ) by a parallel to the wear layer 5 extending lower groove flank 65.2 of the locking lug 13 to be received groove 41st
- Fig. 10 the lower projection 66 of the floor panel 10.2 over an inclined surface 72 in the lower groove 64, so that in the locked state with a corresponding inclined Transition surface 73 of the locking arm 60 is in contact.
- the structure of the locking arm 60 is already in the Figures 5 and 9 described. In this case, the lower projection 66 tapers to the outside.
- a component of the connection of two floor panels together is a separate blocking agent, hereafter referred to profile, which will be described below.

- the locking lug in the locked state in at least one introduced in the core layer of an adjacent floor panel, the locking lug compatible groove engages such that the support surface of the locking lug against a bottom layer facing groove edge of said groove presses.
The profiles are essentially T- or L-profiles and trough-shaped profiles, preferably those whose cross-section is the capital letters C-, H-, L-, M-, T-, U-, W-, Z- or X is similar.
The outwardly projecting locking lug can be formed as an extension of a leg of the C, H, Z or X profile. These Profiles are in principle intended for insertion into the grooves of already laid floor panels. In the U-, V-, T- or L-profiles, the locking lug can at a free end of a U, V or L-leg or a central web of the T-profile pointing outwards, ie perpendicular to the leg or to the central web be arranged.
As advantageous, the T-profile has proven, the T-web engages with its protruding projections in the introduced in the bottom layer grooves. The T-profile has a central web, which is arranged in the installed state substantially perpendicular to the bottom layer and deformed during the assembly of two floor panels, so that engages with its latching nose in the corresponding groove of the adjacent floor panel. Thus, the two interconnected floor panels can be effectively locked in both a vertical and a horizontal direction.
Preferably, the locking lug west on a sliding surface, which makes it possible to "automatically" push the profile when lowering the angle located in the second floor panel in the groove of the already laid, first floor panel.
Accordingly, a profile has proven to be particularly advantageous, which is equipped with a detent, the sliding surface - in the profile cross-section - rounded or curved, whereby the pressing in of the detent can be facilitated in a corresponding receiving groove of the Gegenpaneels.
Accordingly, the present invention also relates to a method for laying floor panels in which the angularly located floor panel presses against said sliding surface until the locking lug is pressed completely under spring force into the groove or a cavity of the laid floor panel. After lowering the floor panel moves the latch and optionally a resilient element of the profile, which carries the latch, in corresponding groove of the floor panel.
In this case, the locking lug and / or a foot of the profile may be made stiffer than the legal material of the profile.
The M, W and U profiles can also be provided with at least one movable detent which is disposed at a free end of a leg or web.
The groove, in which engages the latch can be provided with a stabilizing cover made of plastic, resin or metal.
The profiles forming the blocking agent can be made of metal, wood material or plastic.
If the blocking agent, i. H. Profile made of plastic, it can be cheaply made available as a mass-produced item.
The profiles according to the invention are essentially intended for the narrow edges of the floor panels. However, the floor panels can also be integrated in the longer side surfaces if they are adapted to the separate profiles accordingly.
The L, T, U, M or W profiles can be pressed into the existing groove of the floor panel manually or mechanically or with the aid of an automatic machine. The provided with the profiles floor panels can be stored and distributed in this form. This is particularly facilitated by the fact that the profiles sit securely in the grooves and practically have no chance to fall out of the groove selbstätig.
Further details and advantages of the invention are explained in more detail with reference to the drawing.
