Ergibt sich trotz entsprechend angepasster Grundeinstellungen der Farbzonenstellelemente bei aktiviertem Feuchtwerk eine Abweichung für die Farbdichte in den einzelnen Farbzonen, so kann darauf geschlossen werden, dass mit dem Feuchtwerk über die gesamte Formatbreite keine einheitliche Feuchtung bereitgestellt werden kann, sodass dann letztendlich auf Basis dieser Messung eine Einstellung des Feuchtwerks z. B. durch Generierung einer entsprechenden Warnmeldung initiiert werden kann. Eine hierbei zu verwendende Druckform muss die Bedingung gleicher Farbabnahme bzw. Flächendeckung in allen Farbzonen erfüllen. Der Testdruck oder jeder dieser Testdrucke wird wiederum vorzugsweise bei deaktivierter Changierung bzw. Verreibung sogenannter Reiberwalzen bzw.
