Es liegt dabei im Sinne der hier vorliegenden Erfindung, anhand der messtechnisch erfassten Farbdichten aller Farbzonen eines unter quasistationären Druck- bedingungen gedruckten Testdrucks zu entscheiden, ob entweder die Grundeinstellungen der Farbzonenstellelemente des Farbwerks angepasst werden müssen, oder ob eine Walzenbeistellung von Farbauftragwalzen des Farbwerks angepasst werden muss. Dann, wenn aus den messtechnisch erfassten Farbdichten aller Farbzonen eines Farbwerks folgt, dass sich die messtechnisch erfassten Farb- dichten über die Farbzonen quasikontinuierlich verändern, wird darauf geschlossen, dass die Walzenbeistellung von Farbauftragwalzen des Farbwerks angepasst werden muss. Folgt hingegen aus den messtechnisch erfassten Farbdichten der Farbzonen eines Farbwerks, dass sich die Farbdichten der Farbzonen farbzonen- individuell verändern, so wird darauf geschlossen, dass die Grundeinstellung der Farbzonenstellelemente des Farbwerks anzupassen ist. Nach einer vorteilhaften Weiterbildung der Erfindung wird im Anschluss an das Drucken bei deaktiviertem Feuchtwerk auch mindestens ein Testdruck bei aktiviertem Feuchtwerk gedruckt, wobei auch mindestens ein bei aktiviertem Feuchtwerk unter quasistationären Druckbedingungen gedruckter Testdruck hinsichtlich seiner Farbdichte in den einzelnen Farbzonen vermessen wird. Aus dieser Messung kann dann auf die Einstellung des Feuchtwerks geschlossen werden. Ergibt sich trotz entsprechend angepasster Grundeinstellungen der Farbzonenstellelemente bei aktiviertem Feuchtwerk eine Abweichung für die Farbdichte in den einzelnen Farbzonen, so kann darauf geschlossen werden, dass mit dem Feuchtwerk über die gesamte Formatbreite keine einheitliche Feuchtung bereitgestellt werden kann, sodass dann letztendlich auf Basis dieser Messung eine Einstellung des Feuchtwerks z. B. durch Generierung einer entsprechenden Warnmeldung initiiert werden kann. Eine hierbei zu verwendende Druckform muss die Bedingung gleicher Farbabnahme bzw. Flächendeckung in allen Farbzonen erfüllen. Der Testdruck oder jeder dieser Testdrucke wird wiederum vorzugsweise bei deaktivierter Changierung bzw. Verreibung sogenannter Reiberwalzen bzw.
