Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a toe binding for a touring ski binding, comprising two lateral bearing elements, which are arranged on a substantially perpendicular to a ski longitudinal axis Skiquerachse and which are adapted to take lateral abutment elements of a ski boot to the ski boot pivotable about the Skiquerachse to hold, wherein the bearing elements are movable between a closed position in which the bearing elements have a distance from each other, which is designed for engagement with the abutment elements, and an open position in which the bearing elements have a distance which is greater than in the closed position so that the ski boot can be inserted between the bearing elements or removed from the toe piece. Furthermore, the invention relates to a ski boot for touring ski binding.
  • EP 0 199 098 A2 discloses and includes two lateral, inwardly facing pins as bearing elements, which engage in corresponding side holes of a front portion of a ski boot, to keep the ski boot for the rise on the mountain about the Skiquerachse pivotable.
  • the pins are arranged at distal ends of respective clamping angle, wherein the clamping angle against a spring force about axes parallel to the ski longitudinal axes are pivotable to move the pins between the closed position and the open position.
  • the Indian EP 0 199 098 A2 described mechanism for moving the clamping angle between the open position and closed position further comprises a snap mechanism in which tension springs the clamping angle both in the open position as Keep stable even in the closed position and the clamping angle go through an unstable dead center at the transition between open position and closed position.
  • the bearing elements of the EP 0 199 098 A2 known front jaw moved from the open position to the closed position by the sole of the ski boot presses on the snap mechanism, so that the clamping angle are pivoted to the closed position. It must be ensured that at the moment in which the clamping angle snap into the closed position, the abutment elements of the ski boot are positioned with sufficient accuracy relative to the bearing elements of the toe, so that the bearing elements can engage in the abutment elements. Due to manufacturing tolerances or wear, however, there are position inaccuracies, which lead to a reliable engagement of the bearing elements is not always guaranteed in the abutment elements of the ski boot.
  • the counter-bearing elements of the shoe when depressing the clamping angle are slightly lower than the bearing elements of the toe, so that the bearing elements miss the abutment elements when snapping the toe. It is then necessary to hold the ski boot independently in the correct height above the ski and to pivot the clamping bracket by manual operation in the closed position.
  • a toe piece of the type mentioned is proposed according to a first aspect of the invention, which according to the invention further comprises a positioning device, which has a stop on which in the open position of the bearing elements, a ski boot is supported with respect to its height above the ski, wherein the positioning device for adjusting the height of the stopper is adjustable.
  • An important feature of the invention is thus an adjustable in height above the ski stop on which the ski boot can be supported, so that the abutment elements of the ski boot are positioned on the appropriate height for engagement with the bearing elements of the toe.
  • the inventive adjustability of the height of the stop manufacturing tolerances and / or wear of the toe or the ski boot can be compensated in a simple manner, so that always a correct height positioning of the ski boot can be guaranteed.
  • the user only has to support his ski boot on the abutment according to the invention and then move the bearing elements from the open position to the closed position by actuating the ski boot or otherwise.
  • top bottom
  • front front
  • rear side
  • elevation height
  • skier who has entered with a ski boot in the toe of a ski-mounted touring ski binding, wherein the ski is arranged in a horizontal plane.
  • ski as well as the terms such as “ski boot”, “ski binding”, “touring ski binding”, “skiebene” or “ski center” should not only refer to skis in the narrower sense but equally splitboards (longitudinally divisible into at least two parts snowboards, the items may be used in the manner of normal skis), snowshoes or similar boards for walking or gliding on snow and ice include. All these Articles or parts thereof are considered skis or parts of skis in the sense of this invention.
  • the stop could cooperate with any section in the front area of the ski boot which provides support for the ski boot in the vertical direction, i. in a direction substantially orthogonal to the plane, allowed.
  • an embodiment in which the stop is adapted to come into contact with a lower sole portion of a ski boot positioned between the bearing elements is considered particularly advantageous. In this way, the user can step on the stop with the ski boot from above.
  • the toe piece preferably has a movement device for moving the bearing elements between the open position and the closed position, wherein the movement device has a closing actuating section, the actuation of which causes the bearing elements to move from the open position to the closed position.
  • the stop can be technically particularly simple and realized with a minimum number of additional components in that the stopper is formed on the closing operation section. In this way, the additional advantage is achieved that the stop with the movement of the Sch Stammbetuschistuschistorsabitess can be moved away from the ski boot, so that the ski boot is no longer in contact with the stop in the closed position of the toe and thus the stop the pivotal movement of the Ski boot around the bearing elements while walking can not hinder.
  • the positioning device comprises a threaded arrangement in order to adjust the height of the stop in particular substantially continuously.
  • a thread arrangement provides a technically simple and wear-resistant possibility of adjusting the stop. This is particularly thought of a screw, which in a thread of another element of the The front jaw is screwed in.
  • the stop may be provided on a stop member connected to the screw or directly on the screw to further simplify the construction and to reduce the weight of the front jaw.
  • a toe piece with a movement device of the aforementioned type can be configured by two clamping angles, which are each held pivotably about an axis parallel to the ski longitudinal axis, wherein each of the clamping angles has a first leg, at the distal end of which one of the bearing elements is arranged, and has a second leg, the distal end of which points to the respective other clamping angle, wherein the movement means to a ski directed toward the movement of the SchOUGbetusch Inc.
  • the closing actuating section is provided as a plate section on an arm of an actuating lever pivotably mounted about an axis substantially parallel to a plane, the plate section having a thread engaging with a thread of a stop element having the stop, preferably a screw, is engaged.
  • the stop according to the invention with only minor structural changes compared to an example of the EP 0 199 098 A2 known toe cheeks can be achieved. If the plate portion is oriented approximately parallel to the scissor, a thread for adjusting the stopper can be easily introduced at an angle to the plane of the plate in the plate portion to make the stop in the height direction adjustable.
  • the invention is achieved by a ski boot, for a touring ski binding, which in opposite lateral front shoe sections each having an abutment element, wherein the abutment elements are adapted for engagement with bearing elements of a touring ski binding to the ski boot to a substantially orthogonal to a ski center axis extending Skiquerachse pivotally attached to the touring ski binding, wherein the ski boot has in its lower front sole region a support member whose distance relative to a sole plane of the lower front sole region is adjustable.
  • a support element on the lower front sole region of a ski boot whose distance from a sole plane of the lower front sole region is adjustable in order to compensate for wear-induced position inaccuracies or production tolerances of the ski boot and / or toe cheeks to be able to.
  • a user can easily get in the ski boot by going into the toe Placing the support of the ski boot on a suitable component of the toe at the correct height above the ski support such that the abutment elements of the ski boot are substantially at the height of the bearing elements of the toe and thus closing the front jaw is easily possible.
  • the stop of the positioning device can be considered as a counter-supporting element for the support element of the ski boot according to the invention.
