Definitions
- the invention relates to a press arrangement for dewatering a paper, board, tissue or another fibrous web in a machine for producing and / or finishing the same with at least one press nip, through which the fibrous web is guided together with at least one water-absorbing dewatering belt.
- the dewatering belt absorbs most of the pressed in the press nip from the fibrous web water. Outside the press nip, this water must then be removed again via conditioning from the dewatering belt.
- the press nips are mainly formed by two press rolls pressed against each other.
- the pressing pressure in the press nip can not be increased indefinitely in order to increase the dewatering performance. Therefore, in recent years, increasingly extended press nips have been used, in which due to the extended residence time of the fibrous web in the press nip the drainage capacity volume can be gently increased. However, this still can not satisfy.
- the object of the invention is therefore to increase the dewatering performance of press arrangements without affecting the quality of the fibrous web.
- this object is achieved in that the fibrous web is heated on both sides by means of heating devices in front of the press nip. Since the fibrous web during heating mostly on the opposite Side is supported, the heating of both sides of the fibrous web is usually successively, in which case there is no press nip between these two heaters. Due to the bilateral heating, it comes even at high Machine speeds to a largely comprehensive heating of the fibrous web and not only the surface areas. As a result, the viscosity of the water located in the fibrous web decreases, which facilitates its drainage in the following press nip. Changes in the structural properties of the fibrous web also have a positive effect. Experiments have shown that by increasing the temperature of the fibrous web by 10 ° C, its dry content at the end of the pressing arrangement can be increased by about 1%.
- the use of the heaters is not bound to specific pressing arrangements. If these have a plurality of press gaps, then after the heating of the fibrous web by means of the heating means, preferably at least two press nips should follow.
- a preferred arrangement of a heating device results when the fibrous web previously passes together with a respective band on both sides through an upstream press nip.
- the heater should be arranged after the removal of one, preferably the upper band of this upstream press nip in the opening gusset.
- Another structurally advantageous arrangement of the heating device of the fibrous web is given during the support by a preferably upper band of the following press nip.
- the fibrous web is assigned to at least one auxiliary heater on both sides after the last press nip and before a subsequent drying arrangement.
- the web temperature of the fibrous web at the beginning of the drying arrangement can also be increased via the additional heating. As a result, the heating distance at the beginning of the drying arrangement can be shortened and the drying capacity of the drying arrangement can be increased.
- the pressing arrangement should have a thermally insulating cover or housing at least in the area of the heating devices and / or supplementary heaters.
- a cover of this gusset arranged on both sides of the fibrous web can assist the formation of negative pressure therein and prevent the inflow of cold air from the outside.
- heaters and / or additional heaters are mainly blowing devices that direct hot air or steam on the fibrous web or a band or IR emitters.
- Blowing devices in particular in the form of steam blow boxes, are currently used predominantly for moisture transverse profile correction of the fibrous web or in the following drying arrangement.
- a suction device In order to assist in the flow of the fibrous web from the hot medium, should be compared with the heater, i. be arranged on the heater opposite side of the fibrous web, a suction device.
- At least one heating device in terms of their heating power is controllable in zones transverse to the web running direction. If required, both sides of the fibrous web can be assigned at least one heating device controllable in zones transversely to the direction of web travel.
- the heaters should each have a arranged above her catcher for spray and condensate and impurities.
- FIG. 1 shows a schematic cross section through a press arrangement according to the invention with two, preferably elongated press nips.
- These press nips are each formed by two press rolls 11, 12 pressed against one another in the form of a shoe press roll with a flexible roll shell and a concave press surface and a cylindrical counter roll. Due to the longer residence time of the fibrous web 1 in the press nip, such press nips allow intensive, yet volume-saving drainage.
- each press nip has its own dewatering belts 2, 3, which after being guided away from the fibrous web 1 are guided and conditioned via guide rollers 13, ie, cleaned and dried.
- the press arrangement shown here by way of example assumes the upper Dewatering belt 2, the fibrous web 1 from a former belt 14 of an upstream shaper for sheet formation.
- the fibrous web 1 is guided over a short distance from both dewatering belts 2, 3 of this press nip, before the upper dewatering belt 2 is led away from the fibrous web 1.
- the lower dewatering belt 3 of the first press nip transfers the fibrous web 1 to the upper dewatering belt 2 of the second press nip.
- the upper dewatering belt 2 is led away from the fibrous web 1 immediately after the second press nip.
- the lower dewatering belt 3 transfers the fibrous web 1 to an air-permeable drying belt 15 in the form of a drying wire of a drying arrangement 6 following in the web running direction 10.
- the fibrous web 1 is guided by a drying belt 15 meandering over heated drying cylinders 16 and guide rollers 17, wherein the fibrous web 1 comes into contact with the drying cylinders 16.
- the takeover by an air-permeable belt 2, 15 is in this case each supported by a band of this band 2,15 and sucked guide roller 18.
- a two-sided heating of the fibrous web 1 takes place with the aid of heating devices 4, which direct hot steam or hot air from the drying arrangement 6 to the corresponding side of the fibrous web 1.
- This should be ensured even at high machine speeds intensive and the fibrous web 1 penetrating heating. This leads to a reduction in the viscosity of the water contained in the fibrous web 1 and thus increases the dewatering performance in the second press nip.
- a heating device 4 is located opposite the fibrous web 1 in the gusset opening after the first press nip between the two dewatering belts 2, 3 of the first press nip.
- the open sides of the gusset are covered on both sides (not shown), which promotes the development of negative pressure in the gusset or prevents the entry of colder air into the gusset. Due to the negative pressure, the development of an air boundary layer on the upper side of the fibrous web 1 after the removal of the upper dewatering belt 2 is hindered, so that the hot medium of the heater 4 can act unimpeded on the upper side of the fibrous web 1. In addition, during the heating of the upper side, the fibrous web 1 wraps around an evacuated guide roll, which is suctioned under it and whose suction device 5 assists the penetration of the hot medium into the fibrous web 1.
- the underside of the fibrous web 1 is heated with a heating device 4 arranged below the fibrous web 1 before the second press nip.
- the support of the fibrous web 1 through the upper dewatering belt 2 gives the fibrous web 1 while the sufficient stability.
- the upper dewatering belt 2 is heated to a temperature of between 60 and 95 ° C., preferably between 70 and 90 ° C., before contact with the fibrous web 1 by means of an additional heater 8.
- the pressing assembly is associated with a thermally insulating cover 9.
- the fibrous web 1 should be heated to a temperature of more than 60 ° C., preferably between 70 and 95 ° C., by the measures described here, in particular before the second press nip following the heating, here.
- the temperature of the fibrous web 1 in a heating section, which extends over the first heated drying cylinders 16, is heated to the temperature required in the drying arrangement.
- additional heaters 7 are used, which heat the fibrous web 1 as possible on both sides before contact with the first drying cylinder 16 of the drying device 6.
- first the underside of the fibrous web 1 during the wrapping of the evacuated guide roller 18 and then the top of the fibrous web 1 is acted upon by the drying belt 15 with hot air or water vapor.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a press arrangement for dewatering a paper, board, tissue or another fibrous web in a machine for producing and / or finishing the same with at least one press nip, through which the fibrous web is guided together with at least one water-absorbing dewatering belt.
The dewatering belt absorbs most of the pressed in the press nip from the fibrous web water. Outside the press nip, this water must then be removed again via conditioning from the dewatering belt.
The press nips are mainly formed by two press rolls pressed against each other.
In order to avoid an overpressing of the fibrous web with its negative effects on the surface properties and the volume, the pressing pressure in the press nip can not be increased indefinitely in order to increase the dewatering performance.
Therefore, in recent years, increasingly extended press nips have been used, in which due to the extended residence time of the fibrous web in the press nip the drainage capacity volume can be gently increased. However, this still can not satisfy.
The object of the invention is therefore to increase the dewatering performance of press arrangements without affecting the quality of the fibrous web.
According to the invention, this object is achieved in that the fibrous web is heated on both sides by means of heating devices in front of the press nip.
Since the fibrous web during heating mostly on the opposite Side is supported, the heating of both sides of the fibrous web is usually successively, in which case there is no press nip between these two heaters.
Due to the bilateral heating, it comes even at high
Machine speeds to a largely comprehensive heating of the fibrous web and not only the surface areas.
The use of the heaters is not bound to specific pressing arrangements. If these have a plurality of press gaps, then after the heating of the fibrous web by means of the heating means, preferably at least two press nips should follow.
Although compact arrangements of the press nips counteract excessive cooling of the fibrous web between them, the invention is also possible in press arrangements with separately realized press nips.
A preferred arrangement of a heating device results when the fibrous web previously passes together with a respective band on both sides through an upstream press nip. In this case, the heater should be arranged after the removal of one, preferably the upper band of this upstream press nip in the opening gusset. The advantages result from this because the strip guided away in the gusset creates a negative pressure, which counteracts the structure of an air boundary layer on the fibrous web to be heated, which is advantageous for heating by steam or hot air. In addition, this arrangement of the heater is also very compact.
Another structurally advantageous arrangement of the heating device of the fibrous web is given during the support by a preferably upper band of the following press nip.
Furthermore, it is advantageous if the fibrous web is assigned to at least one auxiliary heater on both sides after the last press nip and before a subsequent drying arrangement. In addition to correcting the moisture transverse profile of the fibrous web, the web temperature of the fibrous web at the beginning of the drying arrangement can also be increased via the additional heating. As a result, the heating distance at the beginning of the drying arrangement can be shortened and the drying capacity of the drying arrangement can be increased.
In addition, it is advantageous for further heating of the fibrous web if at least one, preferably several and in particular all bands guided by press gaps are heated to additional heating to preferably 60 to 95 ° C.
In order to minimize the thermal losses, the pressing arrangement should have a thermally insulating cover or housing at least in the area of the heating devices and / or supplementary heaters.
If the heating device is arranged between two bands in the opening gusset, a cover of this gusset arranged on both sides of the fibrous web can assist the formation of negative pressure therein and prevent the inflow of cold air from the outside.
As heaters and / or additional heaters are mainly blowing devices that direct hot air or steam on the fibrous web or a band or IR emitters.
Blowing devices, in particular in the form of steam blow boxes, are currently used predominantly for moisture transverse profile correction of the fibrous web or in the following drying arrangement.
In order to assist in the flow of the fibrous web from the hot medium, should be compared with the heater, i. be arranged on the heater opposite side of the fibrous web, a suction device.
Depending on the requirements of the fibrous web, in particular its moisture transverse profile, it may be advantageous if at least one heating device in terms of their heating power is controllable in zones transverse to the web running direction. If required, both sides of the fibrous web can be assigned at least one heating device controllable in zones transversely to the direction of web travel.
In order to ensure the effectiveness of the heaters and to prevent contamination of the fibrous web, the heaters should each have a arranged above her catcher for spray and condensate and impurities.
The invention will be explained in more detail with reference to an exemplary embodiment. In the accompanying drawing, the figure shows a schematic cross section through a press arrangement according to the invention with two, preferably elongated press nips.
These press nips are each formed by two

In the press arrangement shown here by way of example assumes the

Thereafter, the lower dewatering belt 3 transfers the fibrous web 1 to an air-

By way of example, in the press arrangement shown here after the first press nip, a two-sided heating of the fibrous web 1 takes place with the aid of heating devices 4, which direct hot steam or hot air from the drying arrangement 6 to the corresponding side of the fibrous web 1. This should be ensured even at high machine speeds intensive and the fibrous web 1 penetrating heating. This leads to a reduction in the viscosity of the water contained in the fibrous web 1 and thus increases the dewatering performance in the second press nip.
To heat the upper side of the fibrous web 1, a heating device 4 is located opposite the fibrous web 1 in the gusset opening after the first press nip between the two

In order to support the heating of the fibrous web 1, the
Thus, the energy losses remain as low as possible, the pressing assembly is associated with a thermally insulating cover 9.
As a result, the fibrous web 1 should be heated to a temperature of more than 60 ° C., preferably between 70 and 95 ° C., by the measures described here, in particular before the second press nip following the heating, here.
At the beginning of the drying arrangement 6, the temperature of the fibrous web 1 in a heating section, which extends over the first heated
In order to shorten the heating and thus increase the drying capacity here
