Die verwendeten Heftköpfe bilden hierzu in der Regel die Heftklammern aus Draht unmittelbar vor dem eigentlichen Heftvorgang. Der Schneidkasten weist beispielsweise ein Rundmesser sowie ein daran anliegendes Flachmesser auf.
