Das Kommunikationsmodul 9 ist außerdem zur Übertragung von Gerätedaten ausgebildet. Mit Gerätedaten ist z.B. ein Identifikationssignal für die Beheizungsart des Kochfeldes (Induktion, Gas, Strahlungsheizkörper) gemeint. Ein derartiges Identifikationssignal ist für die Steuerung der Dunstabzugshaube 1 hinsichtlich der automatischen Anpassung der Gebläseleistung von Bedeutung. Ist z.B. ein Induktionskochfeld unter der Dunstabzugshaube angeordnet, wird das erhöhte Wrasenaufkommen aufgrund der geringeren Aufheizzeit schneller auftreten.The
