Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a device for detecting entry into a protected area of a habitat and recognition of transponder badges, intended to cooperate with a central alarm and / or intruder surveillance system of a system. monitoring said habitat, and more particularly transponder badges present at the opening of an access door to said protected space or in the immediate vicinity of said access door. It also relates to a monitoring system of such a habitat and the monitoring method implemented by said system.
  • the access control systems in a protected space are generally constituted by an alarm and / or intruder surveillance central which is connected to at least one keyboard reader, located at the door of the door. access to said protected area, allowing the entry of a personal identification code to be authenticated by said central.
  • the identification signal When the identification signal is not recognized by the central alarm and / or intruder surveillance, it then generates an alarm procedure, usually consisting of triggering an audible alarm, and / or a procedure intervention, usually consisting of a remote control of sound control from the monitoring center or an on-site safety intervention.
  • an alarm procedure usually consisting of triggering an audible alarm
  • a procedure intervention usually consisting of a remote control of sound control from the monitoring center or an on-site safety intervention.
  • the latter commonly called proximity reader is then designed to communicate with the radio frequency transponder badge and to issue an interrogation signal towards said transponder badge, located in its radiation field at a suitable distance, said transponder badge, after receiving said interrogation signal, which in turn transmits an identification signal to said proximity reader.
  • the proximity reader transmits the identification signal to the central alarm and / or intruder surveillance which generates an alarm procedure and / or intervention, if said identification signal n ' is not authenticated and validated by said central.
  • the transponder badges generally comprise, on the one hand, an electronic chip composed of a memory unit and a microprocessor able to process the information and to ensure levels of security and, on the other hand, a transmitting antenna. receiving radio frequency signals connected to said electronic chip.
  • transponder badges which have their own power supply and passive transponder badges, of a lower cost than said active transponder badges, which do not have their own power supply. but which are tele-powered by the energy emitted by the proximity reader, inducing a current in the electrical circuits of the passive transponder badge.
  • the proximity reader must be activated permanently or periodically to be in service when a transponder badge is nearby, in its field of emission, with a more or less short reaction time depending on the application.
  • the proximity reader must therefore be connected to a permanent and substantial energy source, in particular of the sector type.
  • the problem of the power consumption of the proximity reader is more particularly with passive transponder badges which require the latter a very significant emission energy to allow said transponder badges to capture a tiny part for their operation. .
  • the efficiency is very low since, for example, for a power dissipated in the proximity reader of the order of 500 mW, the transponder badge recovers less than 1%, with a coverage distance, that is, that is to say the communication distance between said proximity reader and a transponder badge, of a few centimeters approximately.
  • the distance of coverage of the latter is greater than with the badges passive transponders but remains limited to a few meters, generally from 1 to 3m.
  • the energy consumption of the proximity reader is not restricted to its exchanges with transponder badges but may also result from the various communications between said proximity reader and the central alarm and / or monitoring.
  • the electrical energy consumption of the proximity reader is therefore a crucial problem when it must be made autonomous, with its own power source, in order to avoid any electrical wiring of the proximity reader, especially with an external power supply.

  • the transmitter / receiver is configured to be activated by the presence detector, after detection of a person or an object by the latter so as to send an interrogation signal to a badge worn by the user, and receiving from said badge a response signal. When the response signal is recognized as valid, the transmitter / receiver controls the unlocking of the electric lock.
