L'invention concerne un compartiment pour produits à réfrigérer (10), comportant au moins une paroi, sur le bord libre de laquelle est disposé un élément profilé (9) qui peut être monté sur ce bord au moyen d'une pièce d'adaptation (1) à fixer à la paroi. L'élément profilé (9) est de préférence une baguette décorative d'un compartiment de porte (10). La pièce d'adaptation peut être fixée à la paroi par exemple par complémentarité de forme et/ou par assemblage à force. Cette pièce d'adaptation (1) se présente donc de préférence sous forme de rail en U et au moins une des parois latérales (3) formant les montants du profilé en U de la pièce d'adaptation (1) comporte, au moins sur ses faces interne (5) et externe (4), des zones (12) qui augmentent le frottement entre la pièce d'adaptation (1) et l'élément profilé (9) ou entre la pièce d'adaptation (1) et la paroi du compartiment pour produits à réfrigérer (10).
