Definitions
- Curved safety glass laminated by means of cast resin and the process for producing this safety glass in particular for the manufacture of table tops, cabinet doors and furniture parts for bathrooms and kitchens, balcony railings, cladding in building construction, shop fittings and luminaire construction.
- Curved safety glass is already known.
- DE 101 27 090 describes an apparatus and a method for producing bent laminated safety glass with narrow bending radii with one or more bending curvatures. This method is characterized by the congruent bending of several glass panes. The most common embodiment of safety glass uses a foil between the glass panes. Where also additives to the film are possible, such. B. in DE 695 16 231 T2.
- the object of the invention is to provide a bent and laminated by casting resin safety glass including a manufacturing process for this safety glass with a simultaneous color and effect variety.
- the advantages achieved by the invention are in particular that the safety glass by its new design allows a variety of applications in furniture, construction and other fields and thus also allows the basis for the production of completely new products based on safety glass.
- Individual production processes require a unique production in the design and thus guarantee the end customer the acquisition of an uniqueness.
- the developments according to claim 2 to 4 serve a variety of design designs.
- the inner sides or only an inner side of the glass package are painted according to claim 2, treated by the screen printing technique or provided with ornaments or lettering.
- metal chips According to claim 3 metal chips, crystalline structures or geometrically arbitrarily shaped and color-designed glass or plastic body are enclosed between the individual glass sheets.
- the casting resin has a different coloring.
- the safety glass according to claim 9 After filling with casting resin, the safety glass according to claim 9 can be placed vertically and after a rest period, any resulting air bubble can be sucked off with a cannula and the resulting cavity can be filled with casting resin. Thus, then the casting resin filling is absolutely free of air bubbles.
- the method according to claim 10 may in the filling or venting a Kunststoffschnür, z. As a fishing line, be introduced, which is pulled out after the filling under rotation and / or pivoting movement of the cavity between the discs. This mixes individual layers of paint and creates attractive patterns as unique pieces.
- the existing air bubble can be used before curing of the casting resin for mixing the color components, in which the filled glass package is pivoted, raised at different locations and / or rotated.
- the bending temperature and the holding time is determined empirically according to the desired bending depth.
- relatively quickly desired deviations in the shape can be produced to quality.
- the bending process is controlled by a laser beam device.
- the laser device Upon reaching the desired amount of bending, the laser device switches off the bending process, ie the bending temperature is reduced or the heating is turned off.
- the laser device can be adapted quickly and easily to the desired size of the bend.
- the filling points and the venting point are closed with a hot melt adhesive.
- the corresponding use of materials depends on the costs and the further course of the processing.
- the filling with casting resin takes place simultaneously at several filling points over the edge region of the bent glass mold. This can be done with cartridges with differently colored cast resin. As a result, intersecting color effects are achieved and at the same time the working time is reduced.
- the filling with cast resin via one or more filling points wherein previously a hole at the lowest point of the bent glass mold is introduced.
- This method is particularly suitable for the production of glass wash basins, since at the lowest point of the floor anyway a drain opening is needed.
- the filling of the cavity between the discs takes place in several stages, wherein each advantageous after a setting time of Re-filling with cast resin takes place for 24 hours. As a result, exact color demarcation options can be made. So z. B. the trough of a washbasin receive a different color scheme than the adjacent vanity area.
- a different colored casting resin can be injected with a syringe with a long cannula in an already filled G manharz Symposium. This results in special color effects.

- Fig. 12 is a section through the bottom portion of a
- the curved and laminated by casting resin 2 safety glass 1 has despite spherical or otherwise spatially extended deformations between the glass panes 1 at all points always the same distance.
- the insides of individual or all panes 1 can be painted, treated by screen printing and / or provided with ornaments or lettering.
- the casting resin 2 as a laminate may have 1 different colors within a safety glass. This and also between the discs 1 embedded metal chips, metal powder, colored beads or other arbitrary geometric shapes and / or crystalline structures are used for different design of the safety glass. 1
- the process for producing bent and laminated by casting resin 2 safety glass 1 is carried out over several steps.
- a disc package consisting of several discs 1 and between the discs 1 introduced release agent such. As talc, z is in a bending oven.
- the Glass bending curve depends on many individual factors, such. Number of disks 1, disk thickness, color of the disks 1, disk size, etc. The number of individual, to be bent simultaneously slices 1 depends on the later desired thickness of the finished product.
- the individual disks 1 are characterized in their position to each other exactly, then cleaned and re-congruent superimposed. However, the superposition takes place at a distance, ie between the discs 1, a spacer 3 or more spacers 3 is inserted near the edge of the discs 1. The height of the spacer 3 depends on the desired casting resin thickness.
- the edge region between the panes 1 is sealed by means of silicone 4.
- the mixed and possibly colored casting resin 2 is filled into cartridges.
- the cartridge contents are pressed by means of a caulking gun and cannulas placed on the cartridges through the silicone gasket 4 and the spacer 3 into the cavity between the panes 1, as filling B or filling point B. Another at the highest point of the disc package introduced cannula serves as a vent E. After complete filling of the cavity between the discs 1, the filling point B and the vent point E are sealed with a hot melt adhesive.
- the structuring of the casting resin 2 in different layers or the production of different color combinations can be done by means of various variants.
- One of the variants is the insertion of a Kunststoffschnür in the cavity between the discs 1 before the filling process with casting resin 2.
- the plastic cord 6 is pulled by irregular movements through the different color G manharz Kunststoffe. This results in a random mixing with the result of a seeking pattern and a streaking 1O 7 each pattern is unique.
- Another variant for producing the G manharz Quilt ist ist is achieved by means of a residual air bubble at the end of the filling.
- the disc package is temporarily closed and then raised on one side and lowered again. The process can be repeated in different places.
- the bubble changes its position between the panes 1 and migrates through different color areas or layers. On her way the bubble leaves streaks of color.
- the air bubble is sucked off and filled with a remainder casting resin 2. Subsequently, the closing of the disk package takes place.
- Another variant is the injection of a casting resin 2 with a different color by means of a syringe with a long cannula in existing G confuseharz Anlagenen other color. Subsequently, the final closure of the safety glass 1 also takes place.
- Another variant is the deliberate impressions of air in the paint layers of the casting resin 2 after almost completed filling.
- the air movement results in a mixing of the individual color layers in the cavity of the safety glass 1.
- Metal chips, metal powder, granules or arbitrarily shaped body made of glass or plastic in different colors between the glass panes 1 are arranged. It is also possible any combination.
- the disk package For introducing the casting resin 2, the disk package can be placed on a rotating disk 7. Through a central bore 8, the cast resin 2 is filled in the cavity between the discs 1 during the rotational movement of the disk package. As a result of the centrifugal force effect, ring-shaped and differently colored casting resin structures can thus be created.
- the recording and the rotational movement of the disk package can also be done by a device with a lateral drive 9.
- a disc package consisting of several discs 1 and between the discs 1 introduced release agent such.
- As talc is bent in a bending furnace on a bending mold 11 by the gravity bending process at about 550 0 C to 620 0 C in the desired final shape of the sink.
- the bending mold consists of a ceramic plate with an opening 12 adapted to the desired final shape.
- the glass bending curve depends on many individual factors, such.
- the number of individual disks 1 to be bent at the same time depends on the later desired thickness of the finished product.
- the glass bending curve is determined empirically. After the relaxation and cooling of the curved disks 1, the individual disks 1 are characterized in their position to each other exactly, then cleaned and re-congruent superimposed. However, superimposing is spaced, i. between the discs 1, a spacer tape 3 near the edge of
- the height of the spacer strip 3 depends on the desired casting resin thickness.
- the edge region between the panes 1 is sealed by means of silicone 4.
- the mixed and possibly colored casting resin 2 is filled into cartridges.
- the cartridge contents are pressed by means of a caulking gun and cannulas placed on the cartridges through the silicone gasket 4 and the spacer tape 3 into the cavity between the panes 1, as filling point B and as filling point C.
- a hole 16 may have previously been introduced at the lowest point of the bent glass mold, which later simultaneously performs a function on the end product, such as. B. takes over the drain opening on a sink.
- filling point A Another cannula inserted at the upper edge of the disc package serves as filling point A, through which the cartridge contents are likewise pressed. In this area is also the exhaust point E. After complete filling of the cavity between the discs 1, the filling points A, B and C and the venting point E are closed with a hot melt adhesive.
- the bending process is advantageously carried out by a laser beam device with a transmitter 13 and receiver 14.
- laser beam 15 Upon reaching the desired bending shape emitted by the transmitter 13 laser beam 15 is interrupted by the glass body. The interruption triggers an electrical pulse via the receiver 14, which stops the bending operation by lowering the bending temperature. The bending process is stopped at the level of the bending temperature.
- a design possibility is the injection of a casting resin 2 with a different color by means of a syringe with a long cannula in existing casting resin layers of other colors. Subsequently, the final closure of the safety glass 1 also takes place.
