Definitions
- the invention relates to a gate with a lighting device for illuminating the area of a door opening to be closed by a door leaf.
- the lighting device has a lighting device which is arranged on the door leaf above the lock and the door handle and fastened there.
- the gate is designed as a sectional door with several panels. There is a fir-tree theme with lights fixed on the door leaf, with the lights scattered across the different panels. Accordingly, a gate with a driving device provided on the door leaf is known here, the lighting device having lighting devices which are fixed on panels of the sectional door leaf.
- EP 1469134 shows a light source at the edge of a sliding wall.
- lighting devices are increasingly used for an appealing night design in the dark and attached to the building or in the area of the building.
- Lighting devices for illuminating the area of the door opening have already been used for this purpose at various homes.
- Conventional lighting devices for this area provide that halogen spotlights or incandescent bulbs are laboriously introduced in-house in a fall or a possible stem in front of the garage door.
- floor lights which are laboriously introduced in the garage entrance area.
- Masonry or carpentry work to accommodate the bulbs are required for all these lighting devices.
- connection technology is always associated with the use of an electrician.
- the object of the invention is to obtain a simple yet visually appealing indirect or direct lighting on a gate, in particular a garage door.
- the gate according to the invention has a lighting device with a light device to be mounted on the door leaf, in order to illuminate the area of a door opening to be closed by a door leaf.
- the door leaf itself is very easy to access, since it can be moved in an advantageous for the mounting of the light source position.
- Corresponding measures for fixing the lamp on the door leaf are relatively easy to perform.
- the energy requirement of the lighting device can be kept very low.
- the operating voltage can be kept in the low voltage range, so that connection work is safe and can be carried out by laymen. As a result, the use of an electrician to connect the lighting device is unnecessary.
- the lighting device has at least one light source light source which can be activated to illuminate in different colors.
- a further embodiment of the lighting device is characterized in that the lighting device has at least two Lurnineszenslicht provoken that are designed to glow in different colors.
- the lighting device is further preferably provided that it has a control for driving the lighting device such that it lights up to deliver a warning signal for different operating conditions in different colors and / or that they deliver a warning signal in a different color when lit in the illumination mode for illuminating the area.
- the lighting device is arranged in the lower third near a closing edge of the door leaf.
- an LED array preferably in elongated form.
- an LED bar is provided as an essential element for the lighting device.
- the lighting device, in particular the LED strip designed for retrofitting.

- An advantage of LED technology is that even IP65 protection can be achieved very easily.
- the strip does not have to be installed by a qualified electrician when it is supplied with low voltage, for example with 24 V voltage.
- the light source can be supplied with voltage via a connection cable inside the garage.
- a connection cable inside the garage In order to bring this tension on the door leaf, there are in particular two possibilities, which may alternatively or cumulatively exist.
- the voltage is temporarily transferred to the door leaf via a contact pair in the "door closed" position.
- a stationary contact element could be present on a door leaf frame or in the other area of the door leaf opening, which is contacted by an element present on the door leaf in the firing state of the door leaf. If the door leaf is then opened, the two contact elements move away from each other. In this case, bulbs of the lighting device can go out because the lighting device then no longer has its rest position held. The bulbs are in the Closed position of the door leaf aligned in such a way that the lighting device generates the desired light effects when the door is closed.
- the vast majority of garage door drives have their own door drive lighting device on the door drive, by means of which the garage is illuminated during operation of the door drive or shortly thereafter. This door drive lighting can then take over the lighting tasks.
- a line may be led to the door leaf, which also transfers tension to the door leaf during the course of the door leaf movement and also when the door leaf is not in the closed position.
- Many automatically driven doors already have such a cable in the form of helical cables, which is used to power the lighting device.
- the lighting device could be made in the same color version identical to the door leaf. It is also conceivable to manufacture a base with connection and holding device in the same-part strategy in the same way to design this base with a set of differently designed plug-on elements and / or diaphragms according to the customer's wishes.
- the LED technology also allows a different play of colors to illuminate the gates. It is for example also conceivable to provide a switchable adjusting device for selecting the color and the color effects and / or the light intensity. By varying the number of individual LED elements per running meter different brightness levels and lighting effects can be achieved.
- Another advantageous aspect of preferred embodiments of the invention relates to improved optics and simplified fabrication of the illumination device.
- the lighting device can be attached throughout the width of the door.
- the lighting device is essentially formed from a flexible band with a plurality of light sources or with at least one elongate light source.
- a flexible band with LEDs is provided.
- Such a flexible band is preferably made such that two electrical conductors extend over the band, to which the LEDs arranged at regular intervals are connected.
- the band can be cut to the appropriate length and attached to the gate.
- the lighting device is designed to emit downward. This can be done additionally or alternatively to a radiation upward.
- the lighting device is provided on its underside with LEDs or other light sources. This allows the area of the garage entrance to be illuminated when the door is open. This can complement or replace lighting on the door operator or garage lighting.
- the lighting device is movable, for example pivotable, attachable to the door leaf.
- a pivoting for example, controlled by gravity or over Transmission gear so done that the interior of the garage is illuminated.
- the lighting device has a movable suspension for changing the beam direction during movement of the door leaf.
