Description

The present invention relates to a crockery basket of a dishwashing machine for accommodating pieces of crockery, comprising a bottom and floor-framing side parts, wherein at least one row of barbs is arranged on the bottom for holding the crockery pieces comprising at least one barbed base wire and at least one row of barbs attached thereto individual barbed wires and a dishwasher with a corresponding crockery basket.

The publication DE 72 35 591 U discloses a crockery basket having a bottom framed by side panels. Bottom and side panels consist of individual wires connected together. To accommodate pieces of crockery parallel corrugated wires are provided at the bottom of the crockery basket, to which barbed wires are fixedly arranged with one end. The other end of each barbed wire protrudes freely into the basket inside. The corrugated wires are used together with the barbed wires to accommodate pieces of crockery. A disadvantage of this design of a dish rack is the complex production of the dish rack due to the corrugated wires. The corrugated wires, which are located in the bottom area, have the further disadvantage that crockery pieces, in particular small plates, received between the corrugated wires and the barbed wires protrude into a region below the crockery basket. As a result, damage to the pieces of crockery can not be ruled out by a spray arm which is frequently arranged below the crockery basket. In addition, a filling of the crockery basket with large pieces of crockery is difficult by the fixed arrangement of the barbed wires.

The publication DE 299 21 601 U1 discloses a crockery basket for dishwashers in which a row of barbs for holding the crockery pieces is arranged on the bottom. The spine row consists of a spiked base wire and a row of spiked single barbed wires attached to it. The spiked base wire lies on the bottom of the dish rack, which is a wire mesh on. The pieces of crockery are going through held two rows of spikes between two barbed wires. The rows of barbs can be folded down as needed and put on the ground. The storage takes place with additional, curved wires in the base mat of the crockery basket, which surround the spiked base wire. The publication DE 22 32 483 A1 discloses a crockery basket for a dishwasher with a container for forming a rinsing chamber in which rinsing liquid is sprayed with pressure against the crockery or cutlery in the crockery basket, the crockery basket having an open lattice structure formed by a plurality of parallel and spaced longitudinal support wires extending from the front to the back of the chamber and connected by a plurality of parallel and spaced support wires extending across the chamber. The crockery basket further comprises a plurality of rows of parallel and spaced upright wire bars attached to at least some of the longitudinal support wires and having a pivoting means for the wire rods for pivoting the same from a collapsed position adjacent the grid floor of the crockery basket to an approximately upright position are provided on. The publication JP S48 28262 U discloses a dish rack for a dishwasher, comprising a dish with parallel and arcuate wires for holding plates. The rigidly arranged wires of the dish holder are longitudinally connected in each case with a base wire and a raised connecting wire.

Object of the present invention is to avoid the disadvantages described above and to ensure a stable position of a piece of tableware in the dish rack, thereby avoiding damage to the piece of tableware and to improve the flushing performance and drying. The dish basket should also be flexible in the possibility of its loading.

The object is achieved by a crockery basket and a dishwasher with the features of the independent claims.

According to the invention, a crockery basket of a dishwasher for holding crockery pieces has a base and side parts which frame the floor. At least one row of spikes for holding the pieces of tableware is arranged at the bottom. The spine row consists of at least one spiked base wire and at least one spiked row of individual barbed wires attached thereto. The individual barbed wires are connected to a connecting wire at a predetermined distance from the barbed base wire. The connecting wire is spaced in the erected state of the spiked row from the ground. The bottom consists of a base mat made of wire and the spiked base wire is arranged with its ends by means of a respective rotary bearing element on the floor or the base mat. Furthermore, one of the rotary bearing elements is a floating bearing and the other rotary bearing element is a fixed bearing for the spiked base wire.

With the present invention, a distance of a piece of tableware from the bottom of a dish rack is effected for the holder of the piece of crockery between the barbed wires without additional wires or accessories in a simple and cost-effective manner. The pieces of crockery are not held in the plane of the floor, but in an overlying level, leaving downwardly projecting parts of the crockery within the crockery basket. As a result, both a stable storage of the pieces of crockery and thus again protection against damage is achieved and avoided that the pieces of crockery outside the Crockery basket can be damaged by moving parts inside the dishwasher. In addition, it is avoided that the utensils during removal and insertion of the dish rack in or out of the dishwasher to housing parts of the dishwasher abut and thus could be damaged.

The inventive holder of the pieces of crockery in the rows of barbs is achieved without significant additional effort in the production of the crockery basket. Through the connecting wire, the point at which the pieces of crockery are held, lifted off the ground. At the same time, the row of spikes is supported by the spiked base wire resting on the bottom of the dish rack. Even with heavy pieces of cake bending of the row of spikes down is avoided. If the pieces of tableware are placed and held at least partially on the connecting wire, then these pieces of tableware, in particular small plates, protrude into the area between connecting wire and spiked base wire or ground, but not below the floor. They are thus protected against damage from below. Usually, the pieces of tableware are held by two similar trained rows of spikes, each piece of tableware are arranged on two parallel connecting wires and between a total of four barbed wires. The piece of crockery is thus held above the ground. Preferably, at least one end of the spiked base wire is canted, that is bent and rotatably mounted on the ground. This convenient way of attaching the spiked base wire to the floor will produce a spiked row of spikes in the dish rack, advantageously foldable with respect to the floor. The crockery basket itself becomes versatile. When erecting rows of spikes, for example, plates or bowls can be arranged and spaced to better cleaning and avoiding damage between the barbed wires are added. To clean larger pieces of crockery, the row of barbs can be folded away and thus create space for receiving pots, for example. By the pivotal or folding support of the spiked base wire at the end of the holder of the utensils is not adversely affected, since the storage of the spiked base wire at a location, namely the connecting wire, takes place, which does not serve to support the pieces of crockery. The bottom forming base mat of wire, which essentially corresponds to a wire mesh, is inexpensive to produce and ensures good accessibility to the piece of tableware for the cleaning liquid and a good drying of the piece of tableware. The base mat made of wire allows a good stability of the crockery basket with the least possible coverage of the piece of crockery compared to the cleaning liquid and the best possible dripping of the drying piece of crockery.

The pivot bearing element provides the advantage of a particularly simple connection between the base mat of the ground and the spiked base wire of the spiked row. The rotary bearing element can be done either by the shape of the wires to each other, or it is used a separate rotary bearing element, which is connected to the bottom or the base mat and rotatably guides the spine base wire. The spiked row is thus arranged flexibly in the dish rack and thus allows on the one hand a stable mounting of the pieces of crockery and on the other hand the creation of a large volume without disposition in which even large pieces of crockery can be stored and cleaned.

The different pivot bearing elements, a movable bearing for rotatably supporting the spiked row and a fixed bearing for the spiked base wire, provide the advantage that resulting manufacturing tolerances of the pivot bearing elements, the attachment points of the pivot bearing elements on the floor or the base mat and the row of spikes are easily compensated with the spiked base wire.

A particularly simple and therefore preferred attachment of the rotary bearing element in the bottom, in particular in the wires of the base mat is achieved in that the rotary bearing element is clipped into components of the floor or in the wires of the base mat. The assembly is thereby particularly facilitated.

If the rotary bearing element has a catch for the end of the base barbed wire, then the row of spikes is held in the corresponding position, in particular in the upright position. The pieces of crockery can thus be easily inserted into the rows of barbs without them trying to fold away. Only with an intended rotation of the spiked row is this move by a slightly higher force from the first latched position to the other position.

It is advantageous if at least one end of the spiked base wire has a single edge, in which preferably the edging takes place substantially at right angles to the spike base wire. The wire end before the edging allows a very simple connection with the pivot bearing on the floor, in particular on the base mat of the floor. It is particularly advantageous if the edging takes place at the end of the spiked base wire in such a way that the end of the spiked base wire is arranged essentially at right angles to the plane of the barbed wires. If the edging expediently also occurs in a direction which faces away from the folding direction of the barbed wire, the wire end advantageously forms a stop by means of which the raised row of spikes can be supported, for example on a supporting surface provided in the rotary bearing element.

It is particularly advantageous if one end of the spiked base wire is mounted in an eye of the base mat, in particular of a transverse wire. There are only low production costs required to thereby obtain a pivot bearing the spiked row. The wire of the base mat is preferably out of the plane of the soil and shortly thereafter bent back into it. In the resulting eyelet, the end of the spiked base wire is inserted and is rotatably anchored in the manner of a floating bearing.

Depending on the design of the rotary bearing element, the end with the single bend can preferably serve as a fixed bearing and optionally as a stop for the row of spikes. The stop causes too much tilting of the barbed wire. The floating bearing, in which the wire end of the spiked base wire remains freely movable in the longitudinal direction, can compensate for tolerances. This makes it possible to compensate for the manufacturing tolerances of the base mat of the dish rack and the row of pricks with the prong base wire. By increasing the allowable manufacturing tolerances, in turn, a measure is taken to enable a cost-effective production of the dish rack according to the invention.

Advantageously, the two ends of the spiked base wire have mutually aligned areas which form the axis of rotation of the spiked row. Special components or measures are no longer required. The rotation of the rows of spikes is already possible by the shape of the spiked base wire.

The distance of the connecting wire from the spine base wire or from the bottom of the dish basket advantageously leads to a distance of the support locations for the piece of tableware. The piece of crockery is picked up between two rows of spikes and is located between a total of four barbed wires and rests on the two connecting wires of the rows of spikes. By the distance of the connecting wire from the bottom of the dish basket is advantageously causes a dishware picked up therein, in particular a plate, the bottom of the dish basket or the base mat is not touched or even protrudes through it. The piece of crockery is thereby stably absorbed and also protected from damage.

Preferably, the barbed wires are obliquely aligned with respect to the barbed base wire. As a result, the inclusion of voluminous pieces of crockery is facilitated and improved by an inclination of the crockery both the cleaning and the drying of the crockery. The skewing of the pieces of crockery creates no or only a few places on the piece of crockery, which run horizontally, so that the water can drain off quickly and without leaving any traces of dry.

A dishwasher with a crockery basket described above is inexpensive to produce and provides a very good cleaning and drying results of the crockery contained therein.

Due to the construction of the crockery basket according to the invention, in particular by establishing a distance of a piece of crockery from the base mat of a crockery basket, undefined contact points are formed on the crockery, whereby the flushing performance and drying is improved. While in comparable dishwashers a distance is made by means of additional wires or additional parts, which increase their cost by introducing them into the cutlery basket, a cost-effective and reliable dish rack is created with the present invention. The invention describes a flexible row of spikes of a dish rack with which it is possible, without the use of additional wires, to lift pieces of crockery from a base mat and to prevent contact points. The distance is preferably realized by the connecting wire connecting the barbed wires.

In a preferred embodiment, the spiked row has an edging at at least one end.

An advantage of the construction according to the invention is in particular the simplified production, which is integrated into the sting production and requires only a small additional effort for edging or bending of the wire ends. There is no additional bent or canted wire necessary, whereby a time and cost savings compared to known solutions is achieved.

In order to hold the flexible spike in position, preferably elements are provided at the beginning and / or at the end of the spike row, which in particular ensure a locking in the upright and / or folded position. Optionally, in this case advantageously a locking element serve as a fixed bearing and an element as a floating bearing to compensate for manufacturing tolerances. According to an expedient development, an edging of the spiked base wire can furthermore advantageously bring about a reduction of a torsion of the spiked row, since the wire supported on the camp. When inserting actually too large pieces of crockery in the rows of barbs an impermissible folding away the rows of barbs is avoided to the outside.

The Fig. 1 is a schematically illustrated section through an inventively constructed crockery basket 1. The crockery basket 1 consists of a base mat 2, which forms the bottom of the mesh basket 1. The floor is framed by side panels 3.1, 3.2 and 3.3. A fourth side part is not shown. The side parts 3.1, 3.2 and 3.3 are made as well as the base mat 2 of the floor of cross-connected wires. These wires cause little shielding of the dishes to be cleaned and thus a very good drying of the dishes, since no backwater forms. A piece of tableware 4 is shown schematically in the dish rack 1.

The base mat 2 consists of longitudinal wires 2.1 and cross wires 2.2a to 2.2d. For receiving pieces of crockery 4 a spiked row 5 is provided. The spine row 5 consists of a plurality of barbed wires 5.1, which are attached to a spine base wire 5.2. In the present exemplary embodiment, the barbed wire 5.1 is fastened at right angles to the barbed base wire 5.2, in particular welded, and angled obliquely thereafter. The barbed wire may also be attached obliquely to the spine base wire. The angling causes the piece of crockery 4 to be held at an angle, so that no backwash water forms on the crockery piece 4 and thus no drying stains are formed. Preferably, all essential surfaces of the held piece of kitchenware 4 inclined at an angle of about 30 ° relative to the horizontal, so that the water can flow well from the piece of tableware 4. The piece of tableware 4 is held between two barbed wires 5.1 of a row of spikes 5. It continues to rely on a connecting wire 5.3. The connecting wire 5.3 connects the row of barbed wires 5.1 together. It runs substantially parallel to the spine base wire 5.1 and at a distance A thereto.

The spine base wire 5.2 is canted at one end. The ends are in turn rotatably mounted on the floor via pivot bearing elements 6.1 and 6.2. The rotary bearing element 6.2 is a fixed bearing and the rotary bearing element 6.1 is designed as a floating bearing.

In the present embodiment, the spiked base wire 5.2 ends straight at its left end piece 5.2a. The end piece 5.2a is rotatably mounted in the floating bearing 6.1 and longitudinally movable. As a result, manufacturing tolerances of the individual parts of the dish rack 1 can be compensated. The rotary bearing element 6.1 consists of a triple edging of the transverse wire 2.2a of the base mat 2, which thereby produces an eyelet into which the end piece 5.2a is inserted. The end piece 5.2a is rotatably mounted in the eyelet.

At the other end of the spiked base wire 5.2 is in the present embodiment, a single bend. The spiked base wire 5.2 in front of the end piece 5.2b forms an axis of rotation for the spiked row 5. It is rotatably arranged in a fixed bearing 6.2 and thereby positions the spiked row 5 in the longitudinal direction. The rotary bearing element 6.2 is connected to the bottom, in this case with the transverse wire 2.2d of the base mat 2, in particular clipped. By this design with a floating bearing 6.1 and a bearing 6.2 tolerances of several millimeters can be compensated, which are not essential for the function of the row of spikes 5, however, the production of the dish rack 1 and the spiked row 5 can be much simpler and cheaper to perform.

The edging, which in this embodiment takes place in a plane perpendicular to the plane of the barbed wires 5.1, causes the end piece 5.2b from the Drawing plane is bent out. In the erected position of the row of spikes 5, the end piece 5.2e rests on a support of the rotary bearing element 6.2 and forms a stop 7. The spiked row 5 can only be set up as far as the stop 7 and the end piece 5.2b allow. A flaps of the row of spikes 5 is possible only in one direction when the end piece 5.2b moves away from the stop 7 on the rotary bearing element 6.2. This ensures that too wide unfolding of the row of barbs 5 is avoided.

The end piece 5.2 b is secured in the position in which it rests against the stop 7 by means of a catch 8. Only by a deliberate application of force over the end piece 5.2b this catch 8 and allows the folding of the row of spines. 5

The connecting wire 5.3 is arranged so that it runs parallel to the bottom or the base mat 2. In particular, by the distance A between the spiked base wire 5.2 and the connecting wire 5.3 is caused that pieces of tableware 4, which are intended to be included in the spiked row 5, no contact with the base mat 2 or the floor and not through the base mat 2 and the floor protrude. In the Fig. 2 is accordingly a view across the representation of Fig. 1 shown in a section. It is the piece of tableware 4, here a plate shown, which is superimposed on two parallel connecting wires 5.3. The piece of tableware 4 is still supported on the barbed wires 5.1 of the two rows of spikes 5. The connecting wires 5.3 are located at a distance A from the spine base wire 5.2, to avoid that the piece of tableware 4 comes in contact with the cross wire 2.2d. The distance can, depending on the design and arrangement of the row of spikes 5 with respect to the transverse wires 2.2a to 2.2d or the longitudinal wires 2.1 as a distance between the connecting wire 5.3 and the longitudinal wire 2.1 or as a distance between the connecting wire 5.3 and the Cross wire 2.2a to 2.2d be determined. It is essential in any case that no contact between the intended piece of crockery 4 and one of the longitudinal wires and transverse wires 2.1, 2.2 takes place.

The spiked base wire 5.2 is bent at its end and thereby forms a bearing pin for the rotary bearing element 6.2 and an end piece 5.2b for the stop 7. The Fig. 3 shows a schematic perspective view of a section of a crockery basket according to the invention 1. It again the two substantially parallel rows of spikes 5 are shown. Each spine row 5 has a spiked base wire 5.2 to which a plurality of barbed wires 5.1 are attached. The ends of the spiked base wire 5.2 are edged on one side and straight on the other side. As a result, a stop in the horizontal direction by the interaction with the fixed bearing 6.2 and on the other side by means of the straight end on the side of the single edge a variable-length attachment by the floating bearing 6.1, which is an eye of the cross wire 2.2a generated. Manufacturing tolerances are compensated by these two different bearings 6.1 and 6.2. The rotary bearing element 6.2 is disposed at the intersection of the transverse wires 2.2d and the longitudinal wires 2.1. As a result, a stable attachment of the bearings in the dish rack 1 is obtained. The end pieces 5.2b are guided on both sides of the rotary bearing element 6.2 in this embodiment. By means of the catch 8 they are held in position.

The spiked row 5 is flexibly arranged on the floor, here on the base mat 2. Between two rows of spikes 5, the piece of tableware 4 is held by the barbed wires 5.1 and the connecting wires 5.3. Contact with the bottom of the crockery basket 1 is determined by the distance of the connecting wires 5.3 from the bottom of the crockery basket 1 when using the provided crockery pieces 4 avoided. In the embodiment of the Fig. 3 be the two rows of spikes 5 in the same direction, so not folded towards each other. This can be particularly advantageous for small distances of the rows of spikes 5 to each other and long barbed wires 5.1.

The present invention is not limited to the illustrated embodiments. In particular, similar bends are possible at the ends of the spine base wires. It is particularly advantageous that no additional curved or canted wire is required, but that the distance is achieved by a plurality of wires extending one above the other at the spiked row. As a result, a simple production, which is fully or partially automated integrated into the sting production, with only a small amount of time to edge or bending of the wire ends and thus a significant cost savings compared to known rows of spikes achieved. The holder of the pieces of crockery according to the invention is carried out at a distance from the base crockery basket, whereby a good cleaning and drying while maintaining stable support of the crockery pieces is achieved.

As an alternative to the hinged connection of the spiked row, it may be sufficient to fix it to the floor in the erected state. In particular, it can be welded firmly to this, soldered or fixed with another connection technique.

Claims (10)

1. Crockery basket (1) for a dishwasher for receiving pieces of crockery (4), with a bottom and with lateral parts (3.1, 3.2, 3.3), framing the bottom, with at least one row of rods (5) for holding the pieces of crockery (4) being arranged on the bottom, which consist of at least one base wire (5.2) for the rods and at least one row of rods (5) which is attached thereto and can be adjusted, consisting of individual rod wires (5.1), wherein the individual rod wires (5.1) are connected to a connecting wire (5.3) at a distance (A) from the base wire (5.2) for the rods, wherein the connecting wire (5.3), in the raised state of the row of rods (5), is spaced away from the bottom, wherein the bottom consists of a base mat (2) made of wire (2.1, 2.2a-d), and wherein the base wire (5.2) for the rods is arranged with its ends (5.2b, 5.2d) on the bottom or on the base mat (2) respectively by means of a rotational support element (6.1, 6.2) in each case, characterised in that one of the support elements is a loose support (6.1) und the other support element is a fixed support (6.2) for the base wire (5.2) for the rods.

3. Crockery basket (1) according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the support element (6.1, 6.2) has a latch (8) for the end (5.2b) of the base wire (5.2) for the rods.
4. Crockery basket (1) according to claim 1, 2 or 3, characterised in that at least one end (5.2a, 5.2b) of the base wire (5.2) for the rods has a simple bend.
5. Crockery basket (1) according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that at least one end (5.2a, 5.2b) of the base wire (5.2) for the rods is supported in an eye of the base mat, especially of a transverse wire (2.2a).
6. Crockery basket (1) according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the two ends (5.2a, 5.2b) have areas running flush to one another which form the axis of rotation of the row of rods (5).

Crockery basket (1) according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that at least one of the ends (5.2e) of the base wire (5.2) for the rods is angled adjoining the axis of rotation and forms a stop (7) for limiting a tipping movement of the row of rods (5) around the axis of rotation.
8. Crockery basket (1) according to claim 7 in conjunction with claim 4, characterised in that the end (5.2b) of the base wire (5.2) for the rods with the single bend forms the stop (7).
9. Crockery basket (1) according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that rod wires (5.1) are aligned substantially at an angle in relation to the base wire (5.2) for the rods.
