  • the disclosed invention achieves the intended purposes and it is in particular pointed out that the chop sawing machine of the invention has a reduced bulkiness while at the same time enabling cutting operations, in particular end trimming operations, without the sizes of the workpieces being limited.
  • the above described chop sawing machine ensures a good cut efficiency, above all in the so-called workpiece end trimming region, allowing wide sectors of active portion of the cutting member to come into contact with the workpieces, irrespective of the angle of inclination of the cutting member to the lower work table and of the shape of the workpiece.
  • the invention as conceived allows a chop sawing machine to be obtained which has a simple structure, of relatively easy practical accomplishment, safe use and efficient operation, which in addition has a relatively reduced cost.

Claims (13)

  1. Kappsägemaschine (1), umfassend einen Sockel (2), der mindesten einen Arbeitstisch (3) zum Abstützen mindestens eines Werkstückes definiert, mindestens einen Arbeitskopf (5), der schwenkbar mit dem Sockel verbunden ist, im Verhältnis zum Arbeitstisch mindestens zwischen einer Anordnung, die nahe dem Arbeitstisch liegt, und einer Anordnung, die davon weg bewegt ist, beweglich ist und mit einem sich drehenden, kreisrunden Sägeblatt (6) ausgestattet ist, das mindestens teilweise aus dem Kopf herausragt und zum Schneiden des Werkstückes freiliegt, Schutzmittel (9, 14) zum Schützen mindestens eines freiliegenden Abschnittes des Sägeblattes gegen den Arbeitskopf, wobei die Schutzmittel schwenkbar mit dem Arbeitskopf verbunden sind, um das Sägeblatt während des Schneidens des Werkstückes fortschreitend freizulegen, wobei die Schutzmittel mindestens ein erstes Schutzelement (9) für den unteren Abschnitt des Sägeblatts umfassen, der entfernt vom Gelenkpunkt (10) des Arbeitskopfes am Sockel liegt, sowie mindestens ein zweites Schutzelement (14) zum Schutz des unteren Abschnittes des Sägeblatts, der nahe dem Gelenkpunkt liegt, wobei die Kappsägemaschine ferner Mittel zum Verlagern des Drehpunktes der Rotation (16) des zweiten Schutzelementes im Verhältnis zum Arbeitskopf (5) umfasst, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das erste Schutzelement (9) und das zweite Schutzelement (14) dafür eingerichtet sind, sich unabhängig voneinander zu bewegen.
  2. Maschine nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass sie mindestens einen Hilfsarbeitstisch (8) zum Abstützen eines weiteren Werkstückes umfasst, der justierbar mit dem Arbeitskopf verbunden ist und höher als dieser angeordnet ist, wobei der Hilfsarbeitstisch mit mindestens einem Schlitz ausgestattet ist, aus welchem mindestens der obere Abschnitt des Sägeblatts zum Schneiden des weiteren Werkstückes herausragt.
  3. Maschine nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das zweite Schutzelement schwenkbar mit dem Arbeitskopf verbunden ist, wobei seine Rotationsachse im Wesentlichen parallel zur Rotationsachse des Sägeblatts verläuft und von dieser verschieden ist.
  4. Maschine nach Anspruch 1 und einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Verlagerungsmittel mindestens einen verbindenden Schwenkhebel (17) umfassen, der zwischen dem zweiten Schutzelement und dem Arbeitskopf angeordnet ist.
  5. Maschine nach Anspruch 1 und einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der verbindende Schwenkhebel mindestens ein erstes Ende (17a) umfasst, das schwenkbar mit dem Arbeitskopf (5) im Verhältnis zu einer Achse verbunden ist, die im Wesentlichen parallel zur Rotationsachse des Sägeblatts verläuft, und ein zweites Ende (17b), das mit dem zweiten Schutzelement (14) verbunden ist.
  6. Maschine nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche 4 oder 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der verbindende Schwenkhebel in koaxialem Verhältnis zum Sägeblatt schwenkbar mit dem Arbeitskopf verbunden ist, wobei das erste Schutzelement und der verbindende Schwenkhebel im Verhältnis zueinander gegendrehend sind, um mindestens den aktiven Abschnitt des Sägeblatts freizulegen.
  7. Maschine nach Anspruch 5 und einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das zweite Ende schwenkbar mit dem zweiten Schutzelement verbunden ist.
  8. Maschine nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass sie ein entfernbares Sperrmittel (18) umfasst, um die Rotation mindestens des zweiten Schutzelements und/oder des verbindenden Schwenkhebels zu unterbinden, wobei das Sperrmittel mit mindestens dem zweiten Schutzelement und/oder dem verbindenden Schwenkhebel und/oder dem Arbeitskopf verbunden ist.
  9. Maschine nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Sperrmittel von der Art ist, die sich nach der Positionierung des zweiten Schutzelements in einer Anordnung zum Schutz des unteren Abschnittes des Sägeblatts nahe dem Gelenkpunkt und/oder nach der Positionierung des Arbeitskopfes in der im Verhältnis zum Arbeitstisch angenäherten und/oder wegbewegten Anordnung automatisch aktiviert.
  10. Maschine nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das zweite Schutzelement Fühlermittel umfasst, die dem Profil des Werkstückes folgen und die gegenüber dem Drehpunkt der Rotation und dem Werkstück zugewandt mit dem Ende des zweiten Schutzelements verbunden sind, um das zweite Schutzelement entgegen der Wirkung eines Federmittels (22) von der Schutzanordnung in die Anordnung zu drücken, in der der untere Abschnitt des Sägeblatts nahe dem Gelenkpunkt freiliegt.
  11. Maschine nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Arbeitskopf mindestens einen Schlitz (24) umfasst, der in der Nähe des unteren Abschnittes des Sägeblatt nahe dem Gelenkpunkt angeordnet ist, um den aktiven unteren Abschnitt des Sägeblatts nahe den Gelenkpunkt freizulegen.
  12. Maschine nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass sie ein Paar der zweiten Schutzelemente (14) und ein Paar der verbindenden Schwenkhebel (17) umfasst, die im Verhältnis zum Sägeblatt an der gegenüberliegenden Seite angeordnet sind.
  13. Maschine nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die ersten und das zweiten Schutzelemente den unteren Rand des Sägeblatts vollständig umschließen, wenn sich der Arbeitskopf in der vom Arbeitstisch wegbewegten Anordnung befindet.
