Description

The present invention relates to a spray gun system comprising a spray gun for dispensing a Spritguts to which a Spritzgutaufnahmebehälter is attachable; a base device with a housing in which a compressed air generating device is accommodated; and a compressed air hose connectable to the spray gun and the base device to connect them together.

Spray gun systems of the aforementioned type are known in the prior art in a variety of configurations, see for example the publications GB-A-347161 . Such spray gun systems normally comprise a base device with a housing, in which a compressed air generating device is accommodated, which generates the compressed air required for spraying the injection molding. The compressed air generating device The base device is connected via a compressed air hose with a spray gun, which is designed as a hand-held device and with the aid of which the sprayed material can be applied. The spray gun comprises a housing on which a handle is formed, a holding device for receiving a Spritzgutaufnahmebehälters and a spray nozzle through which the sprayed material is delivered under pressure.

During operation of the spray gun system, the compressed air flow generated by the compressed air generating unit is passed through the compressed air hose in the spray material receiving container held on the spray gun. A portion of the compressed air flow conveys the sprayed material contained in the sprayed goods container after actuation of an operating lever arranged on the spray gun from the sprayed goods receiving container and is discharged through the spray nozzle. The remaining part of the compressed air flow passes through openings distributed around the spray nozzle into the open air, in the form of an air cone, which envelops the sprayed material. With the help of this air cone, the color fog is significantly reduced.

A problem with such gas pistol systems is that, in particular, the base device is difficult to move and transport due to its relatively high weight.

Based on this prior art, it is an object of the present invention to provide a spray gun system of the type mentioned above with an alternative structure, which facilitates the handling of the system and in particular the basic device thereof.

Offenbarung der ErfindungDisclosure of the invention

To achieve this object, the present invention provides a spray gun system comprising a spray gun for dispensing an injection molding, to which a Spritzgutaufnahmebehälter, can be fastened; a base device with a housing in which a compressed air generating device is included; and a pressure air hose, which is connectable to the spray gun and the base device to connect them together. Furthermore, the housing of the base device has a transport device, which is designed such that it facilitates a moving and transporting the base device and thus a handling of the spray gun system.

Advantageously, the transport device comprises a chassis with at least two rolling bodies which are arranged on the underside of the housing: Thus, for example, two rolling bodies, which may be wheels, balls, rollers or the like, may be positioned on the rear housing area on the underside of the housing, so that the base device can be moved on the rollers on a ground by simply pulled or slightly tilted, so that it rests exclusively on the rolling elements. In this case, a separate axis of rotation may be provided for each rolling body, wherein the axes of rotation are preferably aligned with each other in this case. Alternatively, however, the rolling bodies can also be arranged on a common axis of rotation.

According to one embodiment of the present invention, at least one support is arranged on the underside of the housing, which forms a base for the housing together with the chassis. In this case, the chassis and the at least one support advantageously as far as possible from each other to achieve a stable three-point storage in this way. The at least one support is advantageously formed integrally with the housing. Accordingly, there is a structure with few components that can be easily manufactured and assembled. It should be clear that, of course, more than one support can be provided.

According to an alternative embodiment, instead of the at least one support, the chassis has at least one further rolling body, which preferably is located centrally between the previously described two Rolling bodies and offset to these is arranged, which also produces a stable three-point bearing. In this case, the axis of rotation of the at least one further rolling body is advantageously arranged pivotably, whereby a well steerable chassis is generated.

Advantageously, the suspension has a brake, with at least one of the rolling elements is selectively blocked to prevent accidental roles.

On the housing of the base device, a pull-out handle is preferably arranged, which can be pulled out to transport the base device if necessary. In this way, the base device can be maneuvered like a suitcase resting on the landing gear. The pull-out handle is advantageously such that it can be locked in different pull-out positions or pull-out lengths in order to be able to adapt the length of the pull-out handle to the size of a user.

Further, at least one support means is provided on the housing of the base device, which forms a standing surface in the upright state of the housing, which supports the base device on a substrate. The at least one support device according to the invention is pivotally mounted on the housing and pivotable at least between a support position in which it forms the contact surface coming into contact with a substrate, and a retracted position. Accordingly, a user can move the support device to its supporting position as needed. Otherwise, the support means may be disposed in its retracted position in which it is preferably received in or in contact with the housing of the base device, so that it does not interfere and is integrated into the overall design of the base device housing. In this regard, the support means preferably includes at least one biasing member that biases the support means to its retracted position.

In addition, the transport device according to the present invention advantageously comprises a handle formed on the housing of the base device. While the landing gear is for moving the base apparatus over a substantially level ground, a user may also selectively lift the base apparatus body on that handle to support the base apparatus over rough terrain such as stairs or the like. The handle is preferably designed as a recessed grip. A recessed grip has the advantage over a handle protruding from the housing that it can be arranged closer to the center of gravity of the base device so that it can be handled more easily. In addition, when using a recessed grip against a protruding from the housing material can be saved. The recessed grip is preferably provided on the underside of the housing, so that it hardly affects the overall design of the base device.

The Fig. 1 to 3 show various views of a spray gun system 10 according to an embodiment of the present invention. The spray gun system 10 comprises a base device 12 with a housing 14, in which a compressed air generating device, not shown, is received. At the rear part of the underside 15 of the housing 14, two rolling elements in the form of wheels 16 are received, so that the base device 12 can be moved over a substrate in the manner of a vacuum cleaner. The wheels 16 are selectively blocked by means of a brake, not shown, to prevent unwanted rolling. At the front part of the underside 15 of the housing 14 projection-like supports 18 are provided, which together with the wheels 16 form the bearing surface of the housing 14, as best in Fig. 2 can be seen. Instead of the supports 18 can also be arranged centrally on the front part of the underside 15 of the housing 14, pivotable and thus steerable wheel (not shown). In the housing 14, an accessible via an upper opening 20 for the user receiving space 22 is formed, which is closable with a cover 24. At the rear housing portion, a switch 26 is provided, which serves for switching on and off of the recorded in the housing 14 of the base device 12 compressed air generating device and for controlling the compressed air generated by this device. For switching on and off the compressed air generating device, the switch 26 is designed as a pressure switch. Turning the switch 26, however, allows the compressed air flow control. In addition to the switch 26 air channels 28 are provided, via which the compressed air generating device is supplied with the required air. In the air ducts 28, air filters, not shown, are arranged in each case, which filter the sucked outside air. The air channels 28 are covered with grid-like cover members 40, which are held by means of snap-in connections (not shown) releasably on the housing 14 of the base device 12. Such latching connections are advantageous in that a user can easily remove the cover elements 30 without the aid of further tools from the housing 14 and mount on this, when the air filter must be replaced. To supply power to the base device 12, it can be connected to a power source by means of a mains cable. The power cord is wound within the housing 14 on an unillustrated automatic winding device and can be pulled out of the housing 14 as needed. Alternatively, however, the power cord may also be detachably engaged with an electrical terminal disposed on the housing 14 so that it can be separated and stowed away from the housing in the state where it is not needed, preferably in a dedicated space Receiving space at the bottom 15 of the housing (not shown). In the front region of the housing 14, a connection 34 is arranged, to which one of the connecting pieces 35 of a compressed air hose 36 can be detachably connected.

Furthermore, the spray gun system 10 comprises a spray gun designed as a hand-held device 38 with a housing 40 on which a handle 42 for holding the spray gun 38 is integrally formed. In the upper region of the handle 42, a pressure switch 44 is received, which serves to actuate the spray gun 38. At the rear upper end of the housing 40 of the spray gun 38, a port 46 is arranged, to which the other of the connecting piece 35 of the compressed air hose 36 is connectable. In the front region of the housing 40 of the spray gun 38, a spray nozzle 48 is integrated, via which the sprayed material to be sprayed is discharged. The In the present case, the spray nozzle 48 is such that the user can set different jet shapes and jet directions with which the sprayed material leaves the spray nozzle 48. For example, a point beam, a beam in the form of a horizontally extending ellipse, a beam in the form of a vertically extending ellipse, or the like can be set. At the front lower portion of the housing 40, a Spritzgutaufnahmebehälter 50 is releasably held, for example by means of a screw or the like.

In order to be able to deposit the spray gun 38 with the spray material receiving container 50 held thereon during spray breaks, a receiving device 52 in the form of two depressions 54 and 56 is formed in the cover 24 of the base device 12. The recess 54 is adapted to the shape of the Spritzgutaufnahmebehälters 50 and serves to receive the same, and the recess 56 is adapted to the shape of the handle 42 of the spray gun 38 and serves to receive the same. Accordingly, the spray gun 38 can be used together with the Spritzgutaufnahmebehälter 50 in the recesses 54 and 56 of the receiving device 52, as in Fig. 2 is shown, whereby a falling over of the components and with a dropping fouling or damaging the same is reliably prevented. In addition, the receiving device 52 may have a fastening device (not shown) with the aid of which the spray gun 38 and the spray material acquisition container 50 can be secured in the receiving device 52. The fastening device can be such that it holds the spray gun 38 and the Spritzgutaufnahmebehälter 50 by means of a clamping connection, a snap-in connection or the like.

As it is in Fig. 3 is shown, tabs 58 are formed on the underside of the lid 24, which can be accommodated to form a so-called Einsteckscharniers in correspondingly formed recesses 60, which are formed on the upper side of the housing 14. Accordingly, the lid 24 optional up and be closed. The housing 14, the lid 24 and the hinges are matched to each other so that the lid can be opened at an angle of more than 90 degrees, preferably about 110 degrees, to ensure easy access to the receiving space 22. In order to be able to arrange the cover 24 firmly on the housing 14, latching projections 62 and 64 are respectively formed in the front region of the cover 24 and the housing 14, which engage with each other as soon as the cover 24 is pressed onto the housing 14 of the base device 12 ,

The receiving space 22, which is formed within the housing 14, is such that the spray gun 38 and the compressed air hose 36 together with the Spritzgutaufnahmebehälter 50 can be stored in this. Accordingly, the spray gun system 10 can be stored conveniently and without much space.

As it is best in Fig. 4 1, an extension handle 66 is formed on the housing 14 of the base device 12. The pull-out handle comprises a linkage 68 which is movable back and forth in guide-like recesses 70 of the housing 14 and at the outer free ends of a handle 72 is mounted. In this case, the linkage 68 can be locked by means not shown in various extension positions, including in the Fig. 4 fully extended position and in the Fig. 2 illustrated fully retracted position. Accordingly, a user may grasp the pull-out handle 66 on the handle 72 and translate it to a desired position by selectively applying a predetermined compressive or tensile force thereto, the base 12 in the extended state of the pull-out handle 66 being handled conveniently and easily similar to a suitcase can be.

To receive the handle 72 in the fully retracted state of the pull-out handle 66 in the housing 14, a recess 74 is formed on the housing 14. Accordingly, the handle 72 is not disturbing in the retracted state of the pull-out handle 66 from the housing 14. Furthermore, in this state, the overall design of the base device 12 is not affected.

At the back 75 of the housing 14, which in Fig. 4 the base 76 faces, a recess 78 is formed in which a support means 80 is pivotally received about a pivot pin 82. Thus, the housing 14 of the base device 12 can be conveniently located in the in Fig. 4 be turned off state shown.

To the support means 80 from the in Fig. 4 shown position to automatically transfer to its retracted position, this includes a spring element (not shown), which biases the support means 80 in the retracted position. In this way, it is intended, in particular, to prevent the support device 80 from projecting from the housing 14 in the horizontally arranged state of the housing 14 in such a way that a person can push his leg against it and injure himself.

Fig. 5 is a partial perspective view of the in Fig. 4 illustrated base device 12, which shows a state in which the pull-out handle 66 is in its retracted state. As can be seen clearly from this illustration, the handle 72 is not in this state before of the housing 14 and is still easily accessible to a user.

On the underside 15 of the housing 14 of the base device 12, a recessed grip 86 is arranged between the supports 18, on which the housing can be grasped with the hand 88 of a user and lifted to carry the base device 12. This positioning of the recessed grip 86 is optimal with respect to the center of gravity the base device 12 is selected, so that the carrying of the base device 12 is facilitated.

It should be understood that the above-described embodiment of the spray gun system according to the invention is given by way of example only and is in no way limiting.
