Die Walzen 52,53 des oberen Walzensatzes sind vorteilhaft in Walzrichtung bzw. in Richtung der Erstreckung des Walzguts verlagerbar angeordnet. Dazu sind die Walzen 52,53 mit ihren Walzenlagerungen 59,60 mittels der Einstellmittel 61 a,61 b,62a,62b verlagerbar ausgebildet. Die Einstellmittel 61 a,61 b,62a,62b können dabei mechanische und/oder hydraulische Einstellmittel aufweisen. Diese sind beidseits der Walzlagerungen 59,60 angeordnet und dienen der Abstützung der Walzlagerungen 59,60 im Ständer 51 und der Positionseinstellung der Walzen 52,53 in Walzrichtung. Claims (14)

  1. Rolling device (50) comprising a housing (51) and two roll sets (52, 53, 54, 55) with at least two rolls arranged in a housing (51) of the rolling device, wherein a rolling stock (56) for rolling can be led through between two rolls of the two roll sets, characterised in that at least the rolls (52, 53) of one roll set are displaceable in rolling direction as considered relative to the housing (51), wherein setting means (61 a, 61 b, 62a, 62b) are provided between a roll mounting for reception of the rolls and the housing on each of two sides of the roll mounting.
  2. Rolling device according to claim 1, characterised in that the displaceable roll set comprises at least two rolls, wherein setting means are arranged on either side of the at least two rolls and wherein one of the rolls is a working roll and one of the rolls is a backing roll.
  3. Rolling device according to claim 1, characterised in that the setting means are arranged substantially at the height of the respective roll or the respective roll axis.
  4. Rolling device according to claim 1, characterised in that the displaceable roll set has a common roll mounting for at least two rolls, wherein the setting means engage the roll mounting substantially at the height of the respective roll.
  5. Rolling device according to claim 1, characterised in that the upper roll set and/or the lower roll set is or are displaceable.
  6. Rolling device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that at least one roll of the upper roll set and at least one roll of the lower roll set, such as, for example, the working rolls, have a different diameter.
  7. Rolling device according to claim 6, characterised in that the roll diameter of the working rolls lies in the range of 550 to 1400 millimetres, preferably in the range of 850 to 1200 millimetres.
  8. Rolling device according to one of claim 6 and 7, characterised in that the difference in diameter of the working rolls is greater than zero, such as greater than 1%, and less than or equal to 50%, preferably between greater than zero, such as greater than 1%, and less than or equal to 10%.
  9. Rolling device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the setting means comprise hydraulic and/or mechanical adjusting mechanisms.
  10. Rolling device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the roll axes of the rolls of the roll sets are oriented parallelly to one another.
  11. Rolling device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the rolls, such as, in particular, the working rolls, of the two roll sets are operable at different rotational speeds or roll circumferential speeds.
  12. Rolling device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the different rotational speeds lie in the range between 1% and 20%, preferably between 5% and 10%.
  13. Rolling device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the settable roll offset between the working rolls lies in the range between 0 millimetres or 10 millimetres and 200 millimetres, preferably between 50 millimetres and 120 millimetres.
  14. Method of rolling with a rolling device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the thickness reduction of the rolling stock lies in the range between 1 millimetre and 75 millimetres, preferably between 5 millimetres and 25 millimetres.
